Amethyst's great heist

Amethyst was bored. That sort of bored you get when noone chases you screaming of how they want your head because you're on 50,000 wanted posters spread across TheNightmare. It's crazy that it's been so quiet, being that she's in the middle of this generic town - the sort of place that's known for crap to happen. What? Doubt me? Go look at any other generic town on this side of TheDream and see what happens with them. Crap happening, right? Yeah. Onto the thread.
Honestly, Ame shouldn't even be that bored. She has other places to be right now; other things to do. Especially around Perform, but that's not the point.
Here she is, in this generic town, bored.
Well, let's go into more depth about this town. This town is known as Giddyham. It has a small population of 632 people and counting - since a recent furryboom occurred. Think of this place a little like you'd think of Alaska. Or maybe some place a little high up in Washington. It's there, but not many people really go to it except for maybe fishing or something lame like that. In the distance there's a mountain, near the town there's a lake. A road leads into town and out of it just as fast. The time is roughly 2:50 on an autumn day, and many people are off at work. This leaves Ame standing there near a sign saying 'Welcome to Giddyham' and a local suveneer shop called the 'Rotary Tubafish', in her usual green multi-layered outfit, mostly alone.
.......
"You" Ame points to some random person (that's going to be the first person who enters this thread). "Help me plan a heist. I need to rob something." If you disagree, she's going to pull her sword out to make a better point of this.

It was frickin' cold where he was at the moment in Giddyham. Thinking of stealing someone's precious thingies, the thief makes his way through some random shop called the "Rotary Tubafish". A quaint souvenir shop with a few trinkets that would be useful to the theif. Traveling made him a little weary, yet he was well enough to get a few pulls from this place. Small towns usually didn't have many opportuinities or large pulls. Santo might get lucky for once.
As he made a fast pull at the shop, Santo starts to make his walk-off when someone yelled at him about pulling a heist. Santo froze in his steps thinking he was caught, but the statement was wrong. He hadn't been caught...yet. Turning around Ame could see the hooded shadow of the individual wearing dark red and black, hooded clothing. Only a small light shown into the hood which she could see a few large, deep scars on his face and his neck. The hilt of his Kukri on his belt already was casually held by the thief's dexterious hands, yet it wasn't from being treatened. His other hand was stuffed into his pocket holding whatever was stolen from the small shop.
"Rob something? You must be mad or crazy," he said as Santo sized the sword-weilding female up. She looked quite bored with herself. The thief wondered what someone like her was doing in this quaint little town. The thought of a heist would be lovely as he was quite bored too. Santo was here in this town for a reason which he'd rather not speak of to anyone. He simply would rather be left alone to scope out the place, finding interesting artifacts or good pawns for money. "But," he says slipping his hand out of his pocket and up toward the swordess as if he was trying to stop her retort. "I would like to hear what you have to say. However, can we go somewhere more private miss?" Santo finished moving his hand down and off into the direction of a more quiet area. Santo simply would wait for a response.

Ame glanced this guy over. He reeked of man, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. First off, he doesn't reek of dog, tanuki, or any other weird creature. Bloody well does Amethyst hate random upright animal demons in this world. But then again... Ame hates men. Men are worthless, disgusting beings that only get in her way. Then again - Ame sizes this guy up. Nowhere in this sizing does she take into acct his thievery skills or what he did previous to his encounter with her. Surely the people at the shop over there can do that while she's busy. The woman doesn't even comprehend that he'd be relatively perfect for this crime she wants to commit. All she really notes is that he's a little high, wears a cloak, has a weapon, and had a barely visible messed up face.
Hm, no wonder he wears that hood.
Instead of completely agreeing with her as he should, this bastard declares (in her mind) that she's a lunatic. "What did you say?" She shakes her sword threateningly in his general direction - not the sort of thing that's going to keep them concealed from the views of the general public. But, but, wait, he kinda almost agrees with her afterwards. Somewhere quieter to go or somesuch, he says. But no, Ame is already flared up. "Somewhere quiet? Where are you planning to take me, to jail?" She glanced over in the direction he was pointing.
Which was, indeed, to somewhere quieter.
Ame lowers her sword. "Oh." Then sheaths it. "Come on then." She goes to this quieter area. Let's assume it's a quaint alley or something. Maybe an area partially behind a building. Damned be it all she's still tense on the trip, though.

((You're too kind...man smell))
Santo tensed a little at her threatening waver of her sword toward his direction. In turn, the thief still kept his firm stance not truly fearing her motives...yet. He made his statement and pointed toward an alleyway around the building in the pointed direction.
When she lowered her sword, he smiled crookedly and relaxed taking his hand off the blade on his side. Lowering his other hand, Santo places his hands in his pockets and walks toward an alleyway which T'd to an area behind another building. He knew the area quite well after being here for a few days, so this spot would be one of many they would not be bothered at all. Santo thought of pulling something in this particular building anyways. Now would be an opportune time to stake out the place. If Ame was slightly observant, she would be able to see his pet ferret's head pop out of the his pouch looking around the place and slip back in once they reached the alleyway.
Peaking around the corner to see that the coast was clear, he turns around to hear her plan. "Ok, you've peaked my interest. I don't quite understand why you asked a stranger and in the open, but that doesn't matter now. Business first," he says folding his arms leaning against the back fence. His eyes traveled side to side occasionally scoping out the area.

"What's wrong about dragging you out from the public? I mugged two others to find out the layout of this place." Ame said bluntly, like this sort of action was absolutely natural and those who were mugged before him should have expected it. She crossed her arms and glanced around the area. This is a damned good area to be for that so called quietness this bastard was talking about. She glanced over him again. Maybe he worked for storage - where he's required to go behind buildings to drop of boxes. That would certainly explain how he instantly knew about this place so well. Yeah, that's it.
She then noticed the ferret. It's incredible that she didnt' smell it over Santo's filth, being that ferrets reek and all, but it doesn't matter. People can have pets. Crap, she had a pet once, before it ran away.
"Now, where I should rob. Uh..." The Japanese woman started, scratching her chin. She was originally going to rob the suiveneer place, but what on earth would she do with 'Giddyham' magnets and trinkets? So that was out. "Hmmm... This place has a bank, doesn't it? Let's rob that."
Feel free to supply any improvised info about the bank and/or bank area if you want. I wont mind.

This place would be perfect for mugging individuals since it was also hard to hear someone yell. The unlocked shed could be opened and have the individual thrown inside while nabbing anything valuable from him/her. As the thought entered into his mind, he sized her up as well with his greyish eyes seeing that she would be difficult to mug. Plus, the only thing valuable possibly on her was that sword of hers. It could fetch quite a few monies at a certain shop he's a regular at.
"I don't suppose that you aren't thinking of mugging me here, do ya?" he asked smiling as he still leaned against the wooden fence which was getting quite comfortable. He thought she was joking due to her continuing her statement about stealing the bank which made him actually laugh.
"HAHAHA...," he laughed standing up straight walking straight at her. When he was within a few feet, Santo had his hand resting on the handle of his blade drooping his fingers over it. "Do you really mean to say that you just now thought about your target?" he said with a now straight and serious look. "Don't think of me as some foolish thief who would dive right into something without knowing what your motives are. Why do you want to rob the bank? Your answer will determine if I help or not."
Santo gave her a glare trying to pinpoint anything out of the ordinary. He would help regardless or just pull the heist himself, but a partner would help out. Banks can be troublesome, even with just two people.

"Why the [censored] would I mug you? You're going to help me steal money." Ame was a little confused by how this sod was acting, but it's not like she hasn't been laughed at before. You have to comprehend for a second where she came from; 1830s Japan is a load different than today's Dream, especially for a bandit. It wasn't like her mode of thought was going to change in the transition, even if she was able to speak English in a crude British accent all of a sudden with no prior knowledge of the language. (This was her power upon joining, so I wouldn't have to deal with the huge language gap.) Of course, Ame wasn't going to tell this perfect stranger what her past was nor why she was here, so let's get on with the story.
The woman seriously looked like someone who you didn't want to trifle with. Sword aside, her image screamed 'bandit' or 'warrior'. Even with all the layers of clothing over her, she seemed stronger then the normal everyday woman one would come across. And it was clear by the callouses on her hands that she used her sword quite often. But who's to say some lousey man would notice, what with all of his hormones and need to look stronger than everyone he comes across. Maybe the ferret could clue him in.
"Say what?" She glared at him as he made fun of her suggestion. When he then inquires on her reasons for robbing this assumed bank, the women paused, really thought this one over. Now why, out of nowhere, would Amethyst want to pull a heist in a small quaint town in the middle of nowhere? ... "I'm bored." Was her response, blunt and truthful. "So let's get it over with. You've been in this town since I pointed at you, point me to this town bank."

Santo just stood there. He didn't have to size her up again since he did notice the calloused hands. She could possibly be incredibly dexterious which was a good quality. The thief just had to make sure of her will and seriousness. "Sorry about that. Just had to make sure you were serious," he says smiling and stepping back to the fence again. He folded his arms again into themselves.
"I've had many in the past who were just flaky and juvenile. They ran at the first sign of trouble which is usually expected. You being bored is just fine for me. I've already staked the outside of the bank which was my next target, and it will be slightly difficult with just two people. First, you are highly fortunate that I'm a professional thief. I'm guessing it is fate, but what do I know. Second, we need to get a look at what we are expected to steal and how much of it we will need to carry out. That is of course you want it all?"
The thief took a few seconds to span the area once more for peeking eyes and tuned ears before he continued. "Last, I need to know your strengths and weaknesses as I will need to gauge what we need for the heist. For example, agility," he spoke as he ran straight toward the shed kicking off it pulling off a backflip as he continued to run at the shed kicking off its wall and the fence wall until he was able to grab the top off the shed roof. The thief lifts himself up to a handstand on the edge as he pushes off into another backflip, landing on his feet rolling onto his back, and up back to his feet.
{color=crimson]”I assume you are strong by the way you carried yourself and held your sword when we first met, so there is no need to clarify that part. Anything else, I will need to know,”[/color] Santo finishes as he folds his arms again giving the asian woman his full attention.

Well, that's good. At least he wont threaten to call the police and try to run away like that guy she stopped a few days ago. Man, trying to hide his body was a pain the ass, too. "I kill people who are flaky and juvenile." And he's a thief! Like her half-brother Akisu! This is definitely going her way. Or, no, Aki constantly stole her money and stabbed her in the back on occasion. She peers at Santo suspiciously, suddenly distrusting him. After all, it's not like Ame wants to deal with another person like Akisu.
What's this about strengths and weaknesses? Oh, great, now he's being a circus performer on her. The woman watched him perform his stunts - bouncing up walls, flipping, all that [censored]. Then when he asks what she can do, she stares at him silently. "I do not climb walls. I am not an acrobat. If you think I'm going to chew my way through some tiny freaking hole in a wall, you're out of luck... Strengths?"
She took her tachi - which is a pretty decent, nice blade for being over 3 ft long and curved. Then she got into a cat-stance, holding the blade above her head for a moment with both hands, judging something. With a "RAH!" and blurred swipe, she lobs the sword into the ground. There's a moment of further silence, then a minor explosion - dust kicked up everywhere. Surely this gets someone's attention on the street, but they have too much work to do today and, thusly, return to their own business.
When the dust clears there's a mini Grand Canyon in the pavement, clay, and dirt. After this the shed falls apart in a few pieces. She puts her sword away and goes back to watching santo. "Now hurry up, let's rob this bank."

((Ame is hilarious))
She was witty and pushy. That was for sure. Feeling the minor explosion was enough to make the thief jump back a ways before getting bombarded with dirt, rock, and clay. Seeing the shed collapse surely caused enough noise for people to notice. Once the air was clear of the debris, Santo gets to see the ground imploded from underneath. "Damn woman. You might as well just terrorize the bank staff and just take the money with that kind of stunt. Let's get out of here before someone finds us," he speaks louder seeing that it didn't matter about the volume of his voise. Their position was already discovered. He cursed the fact that he might not be able to stake out the building now. The thief motions to run the opposite direction behind the other building across the T'd alley and through an opened lock along the fence line.
A block from the bank
Not trying to play GM or know which era in time I can compare the bank to. I chose an 1800s bank...The bank consisted of brick and mortar encasing the single floor building. The roof was flat with a single slanted walkway connected by a hard framed door. The basement is completely surrounded by more brick and mortar. No windows were seen around the building completely shutting out any light and eyes to see the inside of the bank.
Santo had taken the time a few days ago to stake out the inside. He had opened an account and a safety deposit box to get access to the inners of the constructed building. All the workers were behind small barred windows as like a jail window. Behind a well-constructed door was one small vault where one would need two keys to gain access inside. Inside the vault is unknown.
When they exit the fence door, they start to walk down the block and through one more alley way before coming to a corner near the bank.
"The bank is just down the block. There are three ways in, the roof, front door, or underneath. We can either barge right in and take hostages, sneak in through the roof and secure the vault, or go underneath and dig our way out. You seem to be the type to just barge in, but I'd like to hear your opinion. I'm good anyway. We will need the two keys to gain access inside or use that nice power you have to possibly break through. Inside the building are tellers behind walls with only one door to get through to the vault. What do you think?"

Thumbs up on the bank choice. You made a good choice.
Ame and Santo successfully leave the area without being detected and go down the alley. From behind them there's the noise of a door opening and a voice. "What did the cat drag in today- WHAT IN THE WORLD!?" There's no sign of anyone following them, though. They also successfully make it over to a nice, comfortable, 1800's style brick bank. It doesn't seem too busy today and, like usual, nothing seems out of place from outside. Clearly Ame hasn't been in this area yet.
The wanted woman thought about what Santo said. "I say we blow it up, kill everyone inside, find the keys, and open the safe. Or kill them all, find the keys, open the safe, Then blow up the bank. It'd be too hard to find the keys if we blow it up first. Ready?" Out of nowhere she starts walking across the street towards it, obviously sincere on her plan. And damned well is it good that she stopped and did the math again. Turning back around, Ame slouches over to one side and points at Santo. "We'll need something to carry all the cash on. Like a carriage or a horse. Is there anything like that around here?"
In the area, there isn't much to ride on. No horses of any kind, sadly. Not even a mule. But one building down there's a large ExFed truck sitting there unprotected with the owner nowhere in sight. There's also a Smart Car that seems in disrepair and a hummer on cinderblocks (without wheels) far down the way.

((I love it...just love it...*snorts* *smacks table with fist repeatedly laughing*...Stop, I can't take any more))
Santo slaps his forehead and shakes it disappointedly. He couldn't believe the thought process of this woman, but this was her heist. He will see it finished through and through unless of course it wouldn't profit himself at all. Just as she sped off, he tries to catch her arm before she left. "Wait, damn," he says trying to keep quite. Failing to grab her arm, he lets her go to see what she would do first.
Fortunately, she came back speaking of the vehicle they needed. "You really must be bored, or crazy, but we can't help that now. I'll acquire the vehicle while you cause havoc in the bank. Just don't go too crazy. There are better ways of getting the money, but oh well," the thief sais pointing a finger at her. "I'll get the ExFed ((haha)) truck and bring it up front...unless you want me to drive it into the front of the bank itself. That might seem to please you more," Santo laughed knowing it was true.
"I'll meet you inside...just don't blow it up until we are both out," he finished giving her a serious glare before walking off toward the lonely truck. He really wondered what she would do to get those two keys. Santo just laughed.

Simply shrugging and letting Santo do what he wants, Ame started running. On her way she yelled out, "Yeah, hit the place!" For everyone to hear - though after Ame's random attitude around town, noone takes her seriously. Currently her position to people is kinda like the 'town fool' or 'the boy that cried wolf'. Their mistake was that they didn't take more notice of the situation, nor her present place on the Most Wanted channel. Anyway, she goes into the bank - which was mostly empty - and started her demands.
"I'm going to rob you! ... Stick em up!" She shook her sword at the only teller in the building (the only person in the building) and her cat, who laid meatloaf style on the deposit slip counter. The teller, named Kelly, blinked at Ame, then went back to what she was doing. Ame continued to threateningly shake the tachi. Clearly it didn't occur to her that not only was her status in town not the best in the world, but that guns were a far more reliable tool to stick up banks with. What was her sword going to do against bullet proof glass?
She arced her sword over her and did something pretty similar to what did she with Santo a post ago - struck the floor. This left a heft hole in the ground, the bullet proof glass and counter it's connected to in two pieces (since it's built to defend against bullets, not swords), the cat hugging a lamp fixture, and Kelly repeatedly jamming hte emergency police button under her desk. Ame got back to what she was saying. "I want money! And keys! I need keys to get money! Start doing [censored] or I'm going to beat you, kill you, then eat the cat."
Santo went over to the ExFed truck. On his way, there was a loud yet muted thump, and dust unsettled itself from the bank building.
But yeah, he gets to that truck. It's an ExFed truck, what more are you going to expect? It's not going to bite him or something. Description is as follows: White with the classic ExFed logo on both sides. The back was open and boxes were inside. The doors are unlocked. No keys, though; such a pity. Attached to the sun flap thing (don't assume I know the word to everything, I'm inebriated while writing this post) is an ID card with a picture of a Cardigan Welsh Corgi anthro - and how you can tell which type of corgi it is by only a head photo, you're guess is as good as mine. Maybe Santo's knowledge on the corgi dog is excellent, perhaps he visited a dog show or two, or maybe it's because it states clearly on the ExFed driver's card that his name is Cardigan W. Corgi. Who knew?
Anyway, the type of truck is pretty straightforward. The only unlucky part of this vehicle is that it's a Ford. Oh well, can't win them all.
Clearly C.W.Corgi is going to return from his errand in the nearby building soon, maybe Santo should just hurry up and get stuff moving.

Just as he made it to the truck, he hears the thud coming from the bank. That was his cue to hurry and get the truck ready. He checked around the area first and saw the open back with the boxes. He figured he didn't have time, so he walked back to the front casually hoping no one would think he wasn't the owner.
Searching the seat, he notices no key. He first searches the visor ((hehe)) for key as some people keep it there when they go inside for business. The only thing was the Corgi's license. ((Amazingly, I own one haha)) Finally, he checks the glove box for the keys. If no luck, he'll jump the car. Not thinking any other wise, he's jumped cars before. Casually, Santo leans down to reach under the dash and attempts to split the wires he needed to create the spark to jump the starter. ((Really...I don't know how to do this...Or do I? ))
If he is successful, he'll peel out hoping the boxes will get blown out the back. The thief will then pull in front of bank, park, and get out to help if Ame hasn't already finished getting the keys. He knew ways of getting information as well.
((I don't like Fords either. Dodge all the way.))

(I own a corgi, too. A Pembroke one, though.) After doing some major adjustments to the seat to steering wheel ratio, as well as removing two attachable peddle sticks (for Corgi proportions), Santo is able to get into the truck and look under the dashboard. There he's easily going to have a fun time jumping the ExFed truck. VROOM! It starts! Woo! Just as C.W.Corgi is leaving the building.
Now the irony of this moment is, while Santo is in the now operationally purring Ford, Corgi - while leaving the building - is too distracted by the clip board in his stumpy little paws to look up. He stops on the sidewalk, jots something down, fixes his glasses, then turns away from Santo and directly into the building next door.
Santo peels the ExFed truck out of its place with a sullen squeel of inner car workings and stops it infront of the bank that Ame is currently in the midst of terrorizing. On his way into putting the car in Park, he accidentally bumps the truck into a fire hydrant - which then proceeds to ceremoniously leak heavy amounts of water into the streets.
If he cares to walk in, he'll see a rather large explosion (all puff, little magic) followed by a string of swearing. Ame, giving up on the key thing, tried to blow up open the vault. The cocktail she used for the explosion put a hefty dent in the vault door and destroyed all brick around it - including part of the roof - which caved in around her. Kelly was now in the corner of the room, still behind the split countertop (that Ame has widened further to get through), and now rapidly pressing a second emergency police button.
The door to the bank, which was supposed to be sealed when the button is pressed, was set ajar and at an awkward angle by Amethyst's first swipe.
"Dammit!" Ame roared, kicking the vault with the single huge impact dent in the door, to no avail. She was practically black in powder residue on her front side only.

((Cute...mine is a mutt from the Açores, republic of Portugal. I'll see if I can find a pic of her))
Santo had looked around still for the owner of the truck since he's seen his picture. He just saw him turn into another building as the thief started the vehicle and sped off to the bank. Hitting the fire hydrant wasn't the worse thing that could happen at the moment. Seeing the front door nearly demolished only made Santo laugh. He couldn't imagine what the inside was like.
Assuming that the alarm wasn't tripped but regardless, Santo casually stepped into the bank to see Ame kick the vault that hasn't been opened yet. He could see a huge dent in the corner of the vault itself. "She must've given up on the keys," he thought as he saw the one person other than Ame in the bank. He could've sworn he saw more, but that didn't matter at the moment. Guessing she knew where the keys were, Santo walks over to the lady. Grabbing the scruf of her shirt, she is lifted up and pinned against the wall. "I don't think there is any need for that button anymore. Obviously, you're in shock, but we really need the keys lady. I know everything about this bank, and I've seen you open this vault,"
he said calmly but with a threatening voice. Santo made sure he tried to stay calm as Ame wouldn't be so kind. If worse came to worse, he would use force.

After her unsuccessful attempt to blow the vault up, Ame continues kicking it until Santo comes in and starts roughing up poor Kelly over there (npcs are fair game, and you're welcome to make your own as well if you want ) Everything appears to be going to [censored] right now. Maybe they should have tried that under tunnel route that Santo brought up before. Oh well, too late to change things. Ame does a bad job of wiping the gun powder residue off her face and turns around to watch Santo bully Kelly. She then proceeds to step over there - casually avoiding the rubble.
Kelly is now crying, clearly overwhelmed here, and in shock. All she manages to do is blither and point at nothing specifically. Somewhere in there she talks about having a family and loved ones that'd miss her. And another thing about taking all the money they want. Nowhere in this does she give him keys.
The cat has by now gotten down and escaped, clearly wanting nothing to do with this situation. Some guard cat that was.
"Quick, I'll talk to her. You open that safe over there." Ame says, now where Santo is, thumbing towards the vault door with the severe impressionable dent in it, the singe marks, and the brickwork scattered about. It seems that while Santo was getting the car, Ame destroyed everything in that area BUT the vault door. "Chew a hole in it or whichever talent you had before."

"Just don't kill her, yet," Santo speaks letting Kelly go. The thief then proceeds to the vault itself assessing the damage on the exterior. "I knew I should've just did this alone," he speaks softly before turning back around to yell at Ame. "You just had to try and force it open, didn't you? There are only two ways of getting this open, precision bombs and me," Santo yells at his partner wondering if the door to the vault could even be opened. The door seemed obstructed around its hinges.
Figuring the locks should come first, he takes out his bag of lockpicks and tensioners and starts to work on the first one. Hopefully, by the time he unlocks them, the door would in fact open easily with the nice dent in its corner. He was just glad the bank didn't have more advanced technology in its locks.

Ame takes over Kelly, who then faints. For a moment the wanted woman pokes the bank teller with her sword, then bends down and pokes her with a finger. "Oi..." She shrugs and turns back to what Santo is doing.
It takes Santo a few minutes to get the lock undone. This is a bank lock, after all, and not a freaking door lock. That and Ame did some damage to the lock, itself, with her misdeeds. With a click the door pops open with no fuss. Lucky for Santo, There are no further security measures to deal with. The bad news is that, from the earthquake Ame was causing in the place and her attempt at blowing up the door, half of the money bags had dark green dye explode over them - destroying the money.
Ame seems generally pleased regardlessly. Sheathing her sword, she steps into the vault (the door is big enough to fit two people, so she's not shoving Santo out of the way) and starts to take a bag of money that wasn't recolored. She opened it to make sure it was okay. ... Pff! Her face is covered in green dye. "......."
The green clothed, greenfaced, probably green-thumbed woman glances back at Santo. "Let's get out of here. But, um, don't open anything."

EUREKA...the simple locks were no match for the thief...They were ancient 1800's locks anyways, so he didn't have to think about electronic and such. This bank probably didn't think about theft in a small town such as this. WHy bother having anything more advanced. Releasing the final pin, a snap was heard as the door was forced slightly open. It took little effort to get the vault door open, and inside was what they were searching for. Sadly, most of the monies were always tainted by the green dye. Santo was already sifting through some of them when Ame came by to grab some of her own.
A puff of green dye blew in her face as she attempted to open one. "Don't..., he said but it was too late. "We have to cut them open a different way, but later. Yes, let's get out of here" Seeming they weren't as heavy as normal, Santo grabs two in each hand as he starts to make his way out of the bank door looking around for suspicious activity.

Ame begrudgingly decides to take a handful of money bags as well when Santo starts to leave the vault. One or two? Two or four? Try ten. Yes, Ame is going to play Santa Clause (if Santa was the type to rob banks) with all the bags over her shoulders. Kelly was still down, and there was no interference. That is, until they left the building and started packing the ExFed truck. By then, the bank alarm finally decided to go off - blaring loud at that.
Corgi finally left the second building and noticed that his truck was not on the place that it originally was. Ears perked up, the no-limbed anthro looks around slowly for a moment until the full emensity of hte situation hit him. "Where did my truck go? Where is it?!" He barked, before seeing that it wasn't that far away at all. Infact, it was only a few feet down - and now getting a nice shower from a suddenly explosive fire hydrant. "HEY! CRIMINALS!" He howled and when he saw Ame and Santo packing it. He started over in that direction.
Cop cars sounded in the background.
This is the perfect time in the rp for you to invite a friend or two to join, provided they can keep up with this pace. Crap, you can even invite people to join MZDM to join this specific rp if you feel like it. I know you have chums and comrades out there somewhere. Buzz them up. They can hinder Ame and Santo for all I care.

((OOC - I might have to bring in another alt of mine which would be fun, and I'll ask around. I sure there are some Batmans or Supermans around here that could try to stop the bad guys...or peeps with some detectives or cops in their arsenal))
They were fortunate enough for the alarm to not have been blaring right in their ear. That is until they started to load the truck. Santo knew they wouldn't have time now. Then of course Corgi finally notices them. The thief hoped for more time, but it wouldn't be granted now with the truck's owner running toward them.
"We need to leave now," Santo said hurriedly as he helps throw the bags into the truck. It was more than enough for him to have let alone two people. The amount they had so far could probably run a small mafia at the very least. If Ame was indeed finished gathering up her bags, Santo, covered in water by now, would shut the door and run to the front seat hoping the engine was still running and not damaged from the fire hydrant spewing out water. The thief really hoped the radiator wasn't cracked and spewing anti-freeze on the ground. He knew they'd have little time left until Corgi and the cops shown up to the scene.

Upon random mention, many loose small boxes and envelopes fell out of the EdFed truck when Santo first decided to make use of it. There's this cute little trail of major cardboard squares and rectangles from where hte truck once was and where it is now. The rest of the street is scattered over with envelopes. It looks like tornado hit town. As the hydrant is cleaning the car from the front, none of the mail is getting wet. This is good news for those who will eventually get their packages.
While loading the truck, a few boxes remain in it, including one large box that takes up most of the truck. On this box is an intimidatingly large, red arrow pointing up. Below it are the demanding words 'This way up'. This particular piece of mail is taking up possibly 1/3rd of the truck, itself, and is too heavy to move under one delivery guy alone. Even with this huge piece of junk in tow, there's still plenty of new room to throw in the bags of cash without too much incident.
Santo wheels around to the front of the truck and, after a breif freezing cold shower, gets in. Ame watches him and follows his lead, but comes to a huge problem. She doesn't know how to get in. See, there's this door here, and it has this horizontal handle to it. According to what Amethyst is use to, this means easily sliding the door to the left or right. But by damned be it all, it wont cooperate with this method; this being the kind of normal car door that goes outwards. So here she is, while C.W.Corgi is getting closer, struggling with a simple truck door that refuses to budge.
Ya know, when Corgi gets closer, he looks alot bigger than before. Without real limbs, he's apparently all muscle with paws attached. And, rolling up his sleeve, he appears ready to use said buffness on the two bank robbers to reclaim his vehicle.
Provided Santo's going to open the door for Ame from the inside, she'll then swear off, get in, and let him take care of the getaway.

Things would be worse, but Santo would just rather have things better at the moment. "Where the hell is that woman?" the thief thought as he re-checked the still running engine. The meters all seem to be fine. No overheating of the radiator...yet.
When he hears the attempts at the passenger door, he wondered what she was doing. He could see in the side mirror that Corgi hasn't reached the truck yet. "What are you doing?" Santo yelled as he climbed back out of his chair to reach for the handle of the passenger door. The back of his mind said to leave her where she stood, but getting away would require help. This wasn't a well thought-out plan like he would've had, so Ame would be the best thing for their escape. He had to let her in.
Once she gets in, Santo rears the vehicle spinning it backwards away from the fire hydrant hoping the truck didn't tilt on its side and away from the sirens of the polie cars. He would then speed off knowing the perfect spot to getaway or hide out from anyone and everyone.

That would've been upsetting: Ame trying to get into the getaway truck only to have Santo pull away with it and leave her to get mauled by an aggressive (and otherwise provoked) corgi dog. Why, that would have left him with one more enemy, wouldn't it have? Good thing he didn't. Santo instead chose to let her in and pull away before C.W.Corgi got there. The cops peeled around the corner of the town and were right on their tail.
As Santo tested the struts of the ExFed truck in his turn, the entire truck rocked on two wheels momentarily, then landed back on the road. He could get pretty fast in the truck, and the road was small enough right outside of Giddyham that the cops couldn't pull around and perform the box maneuver easily.
While they left town, not far down the road and parked around a corner, the cloaked thief was free to notice a conveniently parked red Ferrari just sitting there. Asking to be stolen. Oh well, it's not like they can stop now. And the cops didn't look like they were going to give up, either.
During this entire time, Ame proves entirely worthless. She doesn't have anything to shoot, she has no idea how to use a car to her benefit, and her interestingly vulgar use of the English language didn't help much either. Oh wait, what's that she's taking out of her robe pocket? Looks like a small metal baseball. After breaking her window with her bare fist (since she wasn't going to bother figuring out how to open it properly), she threw it out. It bounced off the first cop car behind them, then exploded in a crapload of smoke. The other copcars swerved, some veering off the road or into eachother.
Yet that's leaving one or more cop cars still following them.
