Fantasy and Joshua's Wedding (open to all)

Fantasy had put together a lovely color scheme for the wedding. The colors consisted of blues, purples, and white. She had picked out the particular flowers that she wanted and asked Patches to put together flower arrangements for the wedding.
The gardening mutt was more than happy to contribute flowers and decorate. In Gilgamesh’s Zen Garden, chairs were set up on either side of the ‘temporary aisle’, which had a satin light purple carpet flowing down the center. At the entrance, there was a little archway, which was made up of white roses, purple irises, and blue cornflowers. Along down the aisle, there were several small white ‘roman-esque’ pillars, with each had wide glass vases full of purple irises, blue forget-me-nots, and white baby's breathe. There was another archway at the end of the aisle where the ceremony would take place. This archway also consisted of an array of flowers woven together—There were TONS of white roses (which often caused petals to blow around Gilgamesh’s garden), purple irises, and blue cornflowers. A few green leaves were added to give more color. A few light satin blue ribbons were added to go along with the flowers… They were either tying them together, woven in, or just acting as more decoration for the wedding.
Joshua paced around the Garden. he was already dressed for the cermony, only his dress jacket and bowtie were missing. others involved in the set-up and preperations continued to move around and finish their work. "Damn it."
Joshua mutters.
"I'm over 200 years old. I've been married before."
he grumbles.
"I've fought monsters, cuased disaters."
Joshua baps himself in the forehead.
"So why am I so damn nervous suddenly. I have this bad feelin somethings gonna go wrong"

Paige goes over to Joshua. "Don't worry it will be fine."

Ceera arrives by broomstick, circling the assigned area. "Drat! I'm too early. Well, I suppose I can add a little something from me while I wait."Ceera flies about a quarter mile away from the garden, in a line from the audiance through the place where the ceremony will be held. When she is certain she is lined up so her work will be visible above the heads of the young lovers as they tie the knot, she begins to fly in several long, looping arcs, trailing a dense purple smoke behind her broomstick. The smoke remains in a fairly tight trail, untouched by breezes. Her skywriting soon forms two interlocked hearts, with the name 'Joshua' on one, and 'Fantasy' on the other, written in an impossibly elegant script. She flies back over the wedding site, and surveys her work. "Hope they like it."

In Ishtar's temple not far from Gilgamesh's garden, Fantasy stands in one of the large elegant rooms. Her dress and other things are draped on the chair, as she wears only the classic undergarments for the moment. Wings and tail twitching, she rubs her engagment ring absently.She paces slightly, and waits for her Bride's Maids to come and help her get ready. "I swear... That dress is the most difficult thing to get into.." She says with a sigh. 'I could also use their help in calming my nerves. I have no idea why I'm nervous.. It's just one of the greatest days of my life..' she thought to herself ironically. She glances out the window with a small smile. "I wonder if he's out there already.." *************************** Ssang sits by in the back not far from the chairs, with a platinum collar studded with starlight saphires. The little kitten waits to great people as they come. Beside her is the Yipper plant Specks, who sports a golden bow. Firefly wanders around making sure things are getting done, and sports a platinum collar with rubbies embedded in it. Hearing Joshua, she smirks. "Because it's natural to feel that way?" The fairy cat says with a smirk.

(OOC  k, es fine) Flit Flit arrives, but without the customary back-pack. "Wow, nice flowers." he says, to no one in particular, while wondering through the garden. He approaches the main aisle, and takes a seat for a while, hoping to see someone he recognizes.

Kai comes trotting around a corner of the temple, straightening his tux and dusting a few random leaves and bits of twig off his shoulder. He looks relieved. "Got the ring back, finally. Dumb magick-sensing, squirrel...or whatever the heck it was..."He sees Joshua pacing nervously around and goes over to pat him on the shoulder with a smile. "Joshua...dude...take it easy. Nothing's gonna go wrong, and if it does, we'll just work around it. You've just got pre-wedding jitters. This is a big day after all, even if you have done it before."

Ceera lands quietly at the back of the area for the guests. Bride's side, or Groom's? I don't know either of them that well. Bride's, I guess.Ceera dismisses her broomstick in a puff of purple mist, and quietly takes a seat in the back third of the bride's side, near, but not on, the aisle. The flowers certainly are pretty. Wonder who arranged them?

Tawnyblaze trots in to the room in Ishtar's temple where Fantasy waits, a big grin on her face. "Hiya Fantasy! There something I can do? I don't think I'd be of much help with the dress...." Her grin turns sheepish, then warm. "You're a lucky cat, Fantasy...." She brushes her tails up against her friend.

Zai is in a very nice body for this occasion, metal, detailed to the finest part, dressed in a tux. He walks up to Joshua, hearing Kai talk to him. He smiles. "Kai is right, you'll be fine. You're getting married to a wonderful lady, it's only natural to be a little nervous."

From some distance away, in the direction opposite Ceera's handiwork, comes a fluttering thrum. The source is soon apparent, as a rather familiar aircraft approaches over the trees, circles a nearby clearing, and lands.A few minutes later, Snarf the Sloth comes trudging through the forest. He's nattily dressed in a tuxedo and sandals - nobody makes shoes for his odd feet. These clothes are more fuss than I'm used to. What's the custom, bride's friends over there, or... Ahh, screw it. Either or. He picks a spot near the aisle and plumps his big self down. Snarf seems a little out of it today. After all, he did have a wilder night than he'd expected... --S

"Thanks everyone. I know I should worry but..."
he laughs.
"I guess it is just jitters."
looking up at the design in the sky over the garden he smiles.
"I'll have to find out who did that and thank'em."he looks at Kai.
"A magic-sensing squirrel thingie?"
he chuckles.
"Now why would it be after the ring?"
he gives the human a friendly 'what'd you do?' smirk and tries not to laugh.

Another guest arrives by air, this time on silent wings.Snarf the Sauk is not quite dressed the way he normally does. This loincloth has a back piece; and he's added a leather vest, designed and cut to allow for his wings. Decorations on both garments are very modest, suggesting simple geometric designs rather than any deep meaning or culture. Seems he's befriended a leathercrafter somewhere. The economy-sized Sauk circles once, then descends into the gardens. As he enters the temple proper, he greets everyone he recognizes. There's my other self. The sloth hardly seems to notice the mental nudge. Must've gotten plastered last night. #Hello, Ceera,# the Sauk sends with a gentle smile. "Hello, Joshua; Kai." The projected voice is aimed carefully so that only the groom and best man can hear. --S

Alex is dressed in a tight, halflong blue dress with a small number of ornaments on it. Her shoulders are completely bare. Over her arms and hands she wears long blue silk gloves belonging to the dress. She doesn't wear much jewellery, besides a golden necklace.She curiously looks around at the magnificence of the place and smells the flowers. She softly purrs as she already highly likes this location.

Kai smiles in a sheepish, 'busted' sort of way. "Well...nothing flashy...just tried to put a small bit of good luck on it, that's all. Nuptial bliss, and all that. It was supposed to be a secret."He greets Zai with a grin as the elemental walks up. "Hey there! Lookin' sharp, my man." S. Sauk's projection makes him blink and look up. He waves to the large, winged version of Snarf. "Heya Snarf! Good to see you here."

Nerya is dressed much like she is usually dressed (see profile), as they are clothes of a certain status on her home world. The Fae moves through the garden uneasily, still a bit strange with walking on actual land.

Dressed in ceremonial black armor with deep red highlights in it and a long flowing cape. A suit meant for a memebr of a royal house. Audrath looks out across the fields standing in front of Ishtar's temple. Something small and red is held in his hands and it glistens suttly in the light.

Kaliana decided not to go with a dress anymore for this wedding, she tripped over it several times last time she wore one. Instead, she was wearing a pair of brown trousers with a dark red shirt and a somewhat lighter red jacket adorned with yellow/golden decorations. She wore Emerald at her side in a jeweled scabbard and at a decent size. Although a dress might have been nicer, she looks quite formal in this garment, it is in fact a ceremonial outfit they used to wear at home, very rarely though. It looks like she has had a good tailor to get this. She wears her hair loosely tied together in 3 places from her head to the end of her hair, and tightly tied together in the end.She seems a bit uneasy though as she enters the garden, wondering if she might not be in a strange outfit... She had thought about a dress, really... it was just not her thing...

I have somethign for you, you didn't get it at the par..." :: thinks better take care with the words :: "... meeting last night." :: Gives the groon a golden coin :: "It's the traditional gypsy wedding gift. We use to give the groon small and valuable things, so he can offer everything to the bride meaning the couple will be able to have a good and confy life together. Please accept it, with the blessings of Saint Sarah."
