((Basically... this is where I'm gonna post my poetry. I personally think its all crap... but if you like it and want me to write something for you, I'd be happy to try. Anyway... its also IC. Oh, also feel free to post any comments or suggestions.))
You come upon a small out of the way wooden building in the woods near the Tower. On the wall is a sign posted, "Poet of the Black Flame." Going through the door will bring you to a much larger room than expected. Also, the walls are made of white marble. Engraved in gold writing on the walls are the few poems I've actually managed to finished.
There are a few chairs and some tables scattered about the place, and there's a stone fireplace on the east wall. Sitting near the fireplace is... Me. A few weeks ago I got tired of the constant drains of being a wizard and running an Inn, so I came out and created this "shack" where I could have some peace and practice my poetry and music. I've only just arrived, and have already begun to get lonely, hopeing someone will stop by and at least have a look at my work.

Exists in Me
I thought love was just a mirage of the mind, its an illusion, its fake, impossible to find. But the day I met you, I began to see, that love is real, and exists in me.
There was another that I thought that I loved. She was perfect, she was wonderful, my little dove. I fell for her twice, she had my heart, Both times, she tore it apart.
It was then I realized that love is a fake. I pushed it away, for my own sake. But then I met you, and now I see, Love is real, it exists in me.

Voice Inside
A voice inside speaks of those memories So dark and secret the truth no one see's, And in some the truth comes out, The secret to what I'm all about.
The music gives voice to whats inside, Its notes and story in which I reside, And sorrows of life these past years, Need not be shed in needless tears.
The song, the song does heal me well, Its words and harmony free me from hell, And here again I do reside, To voice through music whats inside.

Ron Bjork
In spirit to body, he entered the dream, In dark towers, to a dragon he did scream. In solitude and loneliness, he wandered unseen, Until the day Rinoa, came on to the scene.
From then on, things were as should be, Until he failed, at dodging destiny. Taken far to another land, a slave now trapped in the wizards clutches, forced to learn how to kill, fight and slay, until the end of each day.
But then he escaped, returned to the dream, his light a fiddle, Lhyvohn's it would seem. Music led from darkness to light, and Rinoa was found, ended was his fight.
And now in his tower, the darkness removed, freedom a plenty, and friends and food. And love in his heart, love for one who showed him the way, and knew what to do.

I scribble away at the papers, working on my next creation. Finally finished, I move to scribe it in the wall. Its short and simple, but it gets across what I wanted to get across. I step back, revealing the newly scribed poem:
Lhyvohn
Music in her heart, road guides her way,
Her fiddle song, brightens the day.
Her mem'ries lost, there's no despair.
In the dream, musics ev'ry where.

Thankyou for the pic Lhyvohn! I hope you like the poem.

*Applauds* Very nice, Ron! Like I said before, the rhyming is nice!
-------------------- This bright green blur of a cat with hair of blue A black tipped tail A scar of pink hue
Bitten by the girly bug He catches them with ease he'd prefer a bit of catnip He goes weak in the knees
Attracting all the females They fawn at his side Losing them is not so easy He tries to run and hide
Sabby follows him 'round Shadow black, one foot tall Abnormally large ears Three tails, she will not fall
Attempting to be cool His heart is sweet and true Some would say he tries too much But that is up to you
Lover of animals Attracter of souls the cutest little kitty of a thousand different roles
An anthro cat For all to see a fine not-so-feathered friend who goes by Nathin Keiroshi
Sanku so much, Wolfie! It is so pretty! =^.^= And the perfectness is awesome!

((I came up with the next two poems while reading macbeth in english class))
For the past several days I'd been at work, attempting to write a poem for Kimara Archer. It hasnt been going well, I dont know enough about her and need to spend some more time around her. In frustration, I crumble up the papers and toss them in the trash, taking out a book of shakespear, and reading Macbeth. After a while, I stop reading and begin writing, feeling inspired. I move over to the wall to inscribe two new poems.
Queen of Dreams
Around her stands a burning city, bashed and battered. Before her stands a frightened man, torn and tattered. "Who be you whom doth destroy, and in our deaths find glee and joy?" She speaks in voice like fairy sings, "Sillilzoress, Queen of Dreams."
By Ron for Sillilzoress
Lord Rhysling Verdant
A dark soul, long lost from light, In Bloodwing Raven, he flies tonight. As cruel as fate, long gone from life, His sinister smile brings pain and strife.
Food from blood, of innocent and weak, And voice with trace of dark speak, Demanding of fear, and respect to be shown. Against Lord Verdant, no courage is known.

I hadnt written a poem in a while, but finally I was ready to scribe the next one in the wall. I wrote it on sudden inspiration while reading Spenserian poetry, and came up with my own. I hadnt put a name for it, but I left a space just in case I came up with a name. Finally, I was ready to scribe.
I wander a dark and lonely path Trodden by those before me, And I stand up to the evils wrath, Following my destiny.
Yet times in the dark I wish I were not Alone, but I summom the courage to Travel through death and rot, So one day I may return to she who
Brings me my light, my heart, my soul And gives me my strength so that I may go on with my role, In this fate of destiny upon which I have sat.
And when the day comes when I end my destiny, My heart will rest, content inside of me.

I walk over to the wall. This time there are no papers strewn about, no torn up sheets on the ground. This poem came from the heart, was only spoken aloud once... but it will be forever set in stone as memory of that beautiful day. I take out my finest chisle and begin scribing in the golden words:
Forever Together
When we met we were strangers in a field,
And upon your sight I came around,
One look in your eyes caused my heart to yeild,
I held your gaze and love grew without a sound.
Like magic our love flourished and grew,
And our happyness blossomed in one another,
To a love like none we ever knew,
Nor will we with any other.
And in your heart I pray your love is akin,
To the tempest which in my heart brews strong weather,
So that in this journey we may begin,
This newest and greatest adventure together.
My lady my love, marry me,
So forever together we may be.
The next day I return to the wall to scribe another poem.
Eternitys Begun
On a dark trail and winding path
There's a bright light, an end to an end,
And through the light away from wrath
The forces of life turn and bend.
And in this world our soul is send,
We meet the light, our final judgement,
And in his will our fate depend,
To go to light, or where light is bent.
Our lives laid down, truly spent,
Our choises laid down,
Our souls descent,
Or into the light of wonders renown.
But wherever we go, our life is done,
Wherever we go, eternitys begun.

Two new poems to add to the wall, a duet:
The Prince's Call
Lady love my destiny, You are my heart, You are my life, Hear my plea.
A day without you is pain and strife, I call for you, Meet me at the throne, I play your song upon the fife.
About your love I often drone, Yet never do you hear, You send my heart away, And without your love in pain I moan.
Without your love I fall and sway, Give me the chance, and together we'll not be alone.
~Ron Bjork
A Maiden's Answer
My prince my lord, Say not such things, Your love is lone, For you I've abhorred.
A day with you in pain I moan, I hear your call, I see your want, But I cannot meet you upon the throne.
I see your love, my hate I taunt, I hear your voice, And push away, And it is my hate I love to flaunt.
Yet your words cause me to sway, Perhaps your love is what I want.

I move over to the wall, a new poem to scribe, and begin etching in the words:
Rinoa's Quest
A life of love and happyness
On outside all that show,
But lost in side her heart a wantingness,
A desire of truth to know.
Desire to learn the past,
A truth, her fathers why,
Her fathers why he let her last,
And forced her mother die.
An in the truth she knows not what to find,
But knowledge of what went through fathers mind.

I get up from the table, walking over to the wall with my chisel.
Kimara
A demon, and elf, a dragon as well, A prophet of winds, and a nice sharp tail, A girl with sais, and arrows they sings, Kimara Archer, she's all of these things.
Eyes like the sea, a beauty behold, And strength demonic power, a secret untold, A dragon inside, Fae of all things, Tatoo's on her back, angelic wings.
She's more than she seems, Get her mad and you'll know, Give her a chance, And you're in for a show.

((yknow... I've been noticing something about my poetry. All I ever write is love poems... i need to branch out. Well, not gonna happen this time. Here's another sonnet for ya:))
A Love I Wonder Why
I work the field in lone solace, The sun bearing on my back its heat, Yet sour sweat fades to perfume sweet, I look up to see her lovely face.
She see's me not, yet holds me in place, Her beauty keeps me from my feet, So not to her can I rise to meet, And lie trapped in shock, my heart begins to race.
I watch, she goes on out of sight, And as her chariot takes her away, I return to duties of the day, And down my hearts cries which arent right.
Yet again tomorrow she'll pass me by, Again I'll love, though wonder why.

I'm quietly coveting your poetry. What I've read of it is wonderful, so I've resolved to draw you and wangle a poem out of you. The drawing is done, but it requires colouration...and since it's past midnight it won't be done till the morning (well, technically it IS morning.)
So I'll contact you when it is!
