I'm Back! (Re-Intro)

Nearly a year has passed since I awoke from my coma... I still find it hard to believe it was all just a dream. That none of it was real. But the doctors assured me it was a dream, and nothing more. And how could I deny them. I had no magic, despite all the preparation's I'd made to keep from losing it when I crossed back over. At least, in my fantasy I'd made the preparations. But of course, that wasn't real. I am not a wizard. I am not the master of a Tower. I've never ridden a dragon. I've never fallen in love..
Still, it is strange. There are too many coincidences. I don't need glasses anymore. I can fight with a staff. Tommy and Justin are missing; have been missing since I went into my coma. The woods where it all began has been fenced off, quarantined. And my dream.. it was so real. There must be more to it than simply the hallucinations of one who went to far into meditation.
I haven't really made much of myself since I woke up. Its hard to get back into life after having been gone for so long. My best friends are missing, and those that remain don't knnow what to think of me. I think they blame me for Tommy and Justin's dissappearance. I've taken a few classes in college, but I don't know what I want to be. I was a wizard for the past five years, dream or no dream, and thats all I ever want to be. But there is no magic here.
I've got a job working at Target. I'm the "entertainment specialist" ...that means I am the guy who puts out the new movies every week. Yeah.. I used to ride dragons into battle, now I put DvD's on shelves. I guess its not so bad. This is the real world, isn't it? I'm not in a coma anymore. I can get tex-mex whenever I want...
A couple weeks ago I tried getting into the woods again, but they've got an electric fence now. I went to the hospital. Stayed for two days. They think I'm trying to kill myself. All I want is to see what happened in there. Why was it quarantined off. They tell me it had nothing to do with me. That the reason it was fenced in was because a pipeline broke. I don't know... maybe thats true. They've got newspaper articles and everything. I guess I'm just crazy.
Well.. anyway, its time for work. Another boring day of shelving movies and dealing with rude customers... I'm sorry, "guests," as we're required to say. Ttyl.
Present Time
"Where do you guys keep your camera's," asks a rather annoying customer to Ron, who happens to be standing right next to the camera's. "Um... right there," Ron points at the camera next to him. "Oh, thank you."
Ron sighs, then wanders off down the cd aisle, straightening things and putting them back where they go. He glances at a cd on the floor then goes back to what he was doing. When he looks back, the cd is gone and back in its spot. Blinking, Ron grabs the cd and stares at it for a moment. "...I could have sworn you were just on the floor." Ron looks around but there is nobody nearby but the annoying person looking at the camera's. He shakes his head then puts the cd back and goes to the next aisle. He's about to start fixing a shelf when the customer asks him, "Do you sell the movie Braveheart."
"Braveheart is right over there," Ron points and turns around to see a rather surprised guest just walking up. "How did you... um.. okay. Thankyou." The person grabs the movie off the shelf then hurries away, leaving Ron surprised and just as confused. Quickly, he heads to the front of the store and tells the manager he has to leave, then without waiting for an answer he grabs his stuff and heads to the car.
What is going on? Ron turns up the radio and shifts lanes. First the cd, then the guest.. am I crazy or something? He makes a right onto the feeder then moves onto the highway, not having any particular destination. He can't go home right now, his parents will notice something is wrong and ask questions. Changing lanes he heads for the bridge leading out of town. Maybe I should go to the hospital.. but they'd just think I was crazy and threaten to put me in the institution again. I know I'm not crazy, I can't be. I- "[censored]!"
A truck smashes his car from the side and Ron swerves hard to the right, smashes into the railing and goes over. The bridge is very tall, and he's got a long way to fall before he hits the water. "Oh god, oh god, oh god!" He kicks the door open, not really thinking, and is sucked out by the wind. Now he's free falling, seconds before he hits the water.. and then he slows almost to a stop. The car crashes down below him and quickly sinks. Ron blinks, then splashes down into the water unharmed.
The next few minutes is a blurr. He hears sirens wailing as he makes his way to the shore. The paramedics examine him, baffled by the fact that he's unharmed. "You're lucky to be alive, son." One of them says. His parents show up soon, but by then he's blacked out from exaustion. When he wakes up he's back in the hospital. He looks at the door just before the doctor enters, "Well, good to see you're awake." His parents follow, extremely relieved to see their son alive, well, and not in a coma again.
"You should really be more careful," the doctor says. "I'm fine." "Amazingly you are. We want to keep you over night just to be safe, but you can leave in the morning." Ron sits up, "No, I'm fine. I want to go home." He looks at his parents and they nod, the doctor sighs, "Okay, you can go. But take it easy."
When Ron gets home he heads straight for his room. Okay, that was magic. I know it. I'm not crazy. Ron takes a deep breath then points at a candle on his desk. "Firo.." Nothing happens. Calming himself, he tries again. "Firo!" The candle lights. "It worked! I can't believe it, it-" Ron shakes his head, and nearly passes out again. What is going on? Out of the corner of his eye he see's something move, but there's nothing there. Then again at the window. "[censored], what now?" He goes to the window and out in the yard he see's a vaguely familiar shape on the fence. It hops down and runs in the direction of the park. Excited and slightly afraid Ron grabs his shoes and runs after it. He spots it again when he gets to the park. Its sitting next to the electric fence. When he approaches, it runs up a tree and leaps over, heading off into the woods.
Ron walks slowly up the fence, remember the last time he tried to climb it. He looks at the tree but realises its too then to support his weight. Thinking, he mutters a spell and to his delight he becomes light as air. Ron climbs the tree and hops over the fence, then heads into the woods. The deeper he goes the darker it gets, until he comes to the place where it all began. He can feel the energy in the area, and he closes his eyes and tries to meditate.
Nothing happens.
After a while Ron opens his eyes and looks around. He see's the creature again, and it heads deeper into the forest. Ron follows.
The Dream
After what seems like way to long for such a small forest Ron comes into an open field. There the shape is waiting for him and he realises what it is. A squirrel. "Shippo!" The squirrel runs to him and leaps to his arms, "I can't believe it, you're real!" Ron throws back his head and laughs, then stops. In the night sky he see's something he thought he'd never see again.. the face of the cat. "My god.. I'm back!"

(Your opening post was brilliant.)
It had been days, days since Zigfried Antonio Maralets Kaprio came across civilization. The expanse of The Dream confounded, astounded him. The fact that days had past amazed him; after all, a day was 1/30th of his life as a larva. And if he knew what all these big words are, more or less how to pronounce them, certainly he'd be telling every living creature in the area his overflowing, sensational emotions.
As it was, the large creature was not saying a meep. He paced as silently as an elephant through the trees and tall grass and hills of dirt, concentrating in his happy anxiety over what each thing was called in this foreign but learnable two-legger language. He mouthed the words occasionally, but didn't say a thing. Even as his tail and wingtips dragged across the ground and his neck lurched this way and that to see what new sights there were to be seen, his movements were masked by the rustling of the trees, the babbling of a brook, the songs of birds. Birds! What fantastic, noisey beings they were. And colorful! What could they possibly taste like, could he catch one? No, they were too fast. Somehow they could sense he was there without sound.
Oh! Open space! Wonderful! The dragon stepped out in his epitome, still silently, onto the open field. He looked up through the large black eyes at the stars above and the face of the napping cat glowing as it ever should. The openness of the sky amazed him every time he saw it. He trotted onto the field and stopped, looking up into the sky.
And then there was noise. Someone was speaking. Instantly the dragon froze, looking at the noise sideways and the movement it beheld. If his previous jaunt did not give awareness of his presence, he may now look like some random, though oddly pointy, piece of scenery.

Ron, elated at being reunited with his pet, his former home, and his power, does not notice at first the dragon who comes into the field. "How did you find me, boy," he asks the squirrel, knowing it can't actually respond, but still wondering aloud how it might have crossed over. The animal nuzzles him happily and chases its tail then freezes, staring at something behind him. "What is it, Shippo?"
Ron turns around and stares into the darkness realising that unlike before, his imperfections were not cured when he crossed to the dream this time. "Great," he mutters, "No night vision." Ron squints and can make out a rather strange and stationary shape. He glances around again then looks back at the shape. "Hello?"

The longest moment passed when Zigfried was too ridged in natural instinct of hiding to react. He was overcome with a fascination of the talking shape and smaller shape. The smaller shape which easily noticed him. Staring at the squirrel, Zigfried tried to ascertain if it was going to scream out or something like those birds did back then and give away his position.
And he remained motionless when Bjork greeted the open darkness of the night. The dragon's large heart beat a million miles a second at the shock of the sudden word towards him. But, he decided, this thing that spooked him in the first place was not a threat. Or at least, he would have to take a closer look to determine if the talking thing's threat level was indeed down.
The massive spiky bulk took a heavy breath, almost expanding in shape, before slowly uncoiling like a snake. It wasn't Shishiosa by any means, but it was the size of a well-fed draft horse and fully adorned in natural chitinous weaponry to boot. Wings still dragging on the ground and as of yet still may be unseen, the creature rose its large, ugly, spiked tail in uncertainty and started pacing slowly towards the man.
As it got closer, it was easier to tell how big Zigfried actually was. He also may have been easier to see under the light of the Napping Cat. Now close enough to see what Bjork actually was, the dragon lifted its head heigher to get a better look at the two and any others that may possibly be around them.
And he gawked. Too shocked, excited, and curious to immediately remember that in two-legger language, responding back in Engulish was the first thing one should do.

Ron's eyes widen as the creature reveals itself and his eyes water. A tear runs down his cheek. Not a tear of sorrow or fear, but of joy. He had begun to believe that none of this was real, that he'd never set eyes on a creature like this again. A dragon! Not a breed he is familiar with, and likely a very young one, but still, a dragon.
He eyes the spikey tail warily, but the dragon does appear aggressive. More frightened than aggressive. The creatures lack of response to his hello reminds him that it may be too young to have learned the human language, so he tries again. This time in the tongue of dragons, "Ava'yorn. Sia ominak ui Ron Bjork." He offers a bit of a bow, knowing full well that without his complete arsenal of magic the dragon could tear him apart if it wanted too.
Meanwhile, Shippo nervously hides behind Ron's pant leg, chewing on the strings of his shoes. Ron hopes he got the words right. The last time he tried to speak dragon was over a year ago, in a world that until now he was begining to believe was just in his imagination.

If his eyes had the ability to display confusion, they would. Alas, they did not. Though confused he was, licking his eye to get a better look at the situation here. At hearing the dragon speak, Zigfried lowered his tail and tilted his head, yet he didn't respond.
He considered his options. And was in the same boat as Bjork.
"Zhryee ro." He responded, which was a terrible pronunciation of any language in dragon, probably would have made a dragon ask him to repeat himself. Fact, why was a two-legger speaking dragon in the first place? No, this wouldn't do.
"H... Hello." He started, his handle on Bjork's language just as oddly pronounced what with no lips and all. The dragon's unblinking eyes continued watching him, as well as looking out for others in the area. He ducked as a night winged thing flew by, but attached his focus back to Ron. Lifting a large reptilian hand, Zigfried pointed at his visitor. "You are.. You." Pause, he lifted his scales and clicked them all down in mild frustration. "Your eyes are leaking. Are you well? Too much salt?"

Ron grins at the dragons attempts to respond. Indeed this is a young one he has found, if i t can barely speak. "My eyes? Oh, they're fine. Its something humans do when they are happy or sad. Right now I'm very happy. I haven't seen a dragon in a long time. I used to be good friends with one, but I don't know if he's even around anymore. I've been gone a long time."
Ron glances around then looks up at the stars and frowns. "You wouldn't happen to know where in the Dream we are, would you? I don't recognize this place."

Zigfried was tempted to correct him, to tell this two-legger hüman that he was not a dragon but, in actuality, a beetle. Yet he has learned through his short life that these dragons must look much like him so it is an altogether common mistake. It was something he could let slide.
So instead he focuses on Bjork's other question, where they were. To this he knew exactly, word for word. He put his hand back on the ground, "I am on dirt." He looks over at the trees. "There are trees near us to the right and behind." He folds out his wings and looks up. "And the sky. It is above us. It is night."
Nodding at his knowledge, he let his wings semi-fold back into place, with the tips trailing lamely on the ground. And it was then, only then, that a thought occured to him. "Will you terra... tra- tr..." Scale click. "Will you traverse with me? I came from that location." He looked back from where he came out of the trees. "And I am going towards that one." He pointed his nose tip in the direction across the meadow. "I tendon... Intend to find a new location."

Ron chuckles at Bug's answer to his question. "That's not exactly what I meant, but thankyou. And yes, I'd love to travel with you. I am looking for a specific location, a large tower that I once lived in. Or if not that, any location I've been to before."
Ron picks up his squirrel and puts it on his shoulder. "I am Ron, by the way. Ron Bjork." He bows slightly, "And this is my friend, Shippo. He is the one who led me here." The little squirrel chirps and hides behind Ron's neck.

"Tow ar? Oh! You wish to find a hive. There are many two-legger hives on this dirt. I will take you to one, it will make you joy." Zigfried bobbed his lanky neck a few times lightly.
He was overcome with thrill at the introductions. "Hello Ron 'Jork. My name is Zigfried Antonio Maralets Kaprio." His name is the one thing he can say fluently in two-legger. "Many call me Bug. I have met many Shippos." The turn in the conversation was out of nowhere, now that he was paying attention to the squirrel. "They are loud and throw things at me." Zigfried's neck craned down and arced around Bjork to see Shippo, licking out at both Shippo and Bjork's neck to get a good sense of what he's dealing with.
Without warning, he suddenly turned bulk and all and started walking towards the other end of the meadow. It'd be a good thing to avoid the long spikes protruding from his shoulders in this move. With each step, his tail and wing tips dragged through the grass, albeit silently. He wasn't going to mention that he hadn't seen any hives of two-leggers for days from where he came, but who knows what they may find over in this new direction.

They were quite a distance away from Ron and Bug to even their presence plus the two creatures were being much too loud from the "game" they were playing. The wolf creature appeared to be tackling the ground half the time when really she trying to tackle her little shape-shifting pet. She would dive one way and he would dodge another or shift into something slippery to catch.
Suddenly Zigho shifted into a hawk as he dodged Kym's grasp and shot into the air then he quickly changed into a dragon looking creature and starting soaring away from Kym. "Zigho! Get back here!" Kym was chasing after Zigho as he was darting back and forth through the air 5 to 10 feet above Kym. "Alright...that's it...you asked for it..." Kym muddered as she smirked slightly evil and the moon glittered in her eyes. Kym picked up her speed some then flipped on to her hands then rounded back to her feet for what seemed like a split second before she was in the air again. Seconds later she had attached herself to Zigho in his dragon form. They wrestled with each other for a moment then could be seen tumbling to ground pretty quickly. They hit the ground with a thud and a soft groan not far off from Ron and Bug.

Ron shudders at the weird feeling of the lick on the neck, but doesn't say anything so as not to offend the dragon. Making a little noise he quickly hops backward as the dragon suddenly turns and starts to walk away. Hurry to catch up, Ron gets along side the creature walking at fast pace to keep up. "Actually, Shippo is his name. The ones you saw are called squirrels... unless they have names. But if you don't know their name, thats what you call them. That's what I call them anyway."
At the sound of the ruckus behind him Ron stops and turns, seeing a vaguely familiar wolf and a dragon wrestling on the ground. If it had been any other place, he would have been shocked.. but since he's in the dream again, he only watches with a bit of a grin on his face. "Ahem! Hi there!"

This post may be short and lame. For that, I'm sorry.
Zigfried was on his way to more tastier pastures when there was a commotion. Instead of freezing, as he did last time, the dragon looks at Bjork and his squirrel, then at what they're staring at. Who knows why his reaction was different. Perhaps he felt more secure with companions.
Upon seeing the two others in the area, he gawked at them. Then, upon hearing Bjork greet, Zigfried closed his mouth and curiously looked between him, Kym, and her buddy over there. "Hi." He said this to the man, not the wolf girl. Though his surprised attention was on Kym and the other dragon as well.
He honestly couldn't see them well enough in the night to know that it was a wolf girl and another dragon. All he could see in the dark was black, white, and movement.

The two of them suddenly become stock still and just stare in the direction of Ron and Zigfried's greeting. They looked as if they were statues intertwined in the inter-lockings of a never ending battle. One of Zigho's feet pushed against Kym's cheek, and stomach, Kym's hands held on to Zigho's leg and tail, and had her foot pushing Zigho's wing to the ground and so and so forth. The statue suddenly melted and collapsed once they figured out they Ron had been talking to them.
Kym picked her herself off the ground after untangling her arms and legs from Zigho's limbs. She smiled lightly as she walked towards Ron and Zigfried. Zigho followed fairly closely behind her still in the dragon-esque form but now in a light blue color rather than a strange dark blueish green color.
"Hey there," Kym lifted her hand in a wave as she got to where Ron and Zigfried stood.
