"meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup"
I believe that's the line you refer to.

I am merely suggesting that Elroar start a campaign at that location. Tarrsk/Viperion/HighLearn/Fox/KrogMan can deal with it. I doubt Elroar is enough to provoke them into tracing him back to here.

Ah, but clones can bleed, can they not? And if I recall correctly, Arm forces now consist entirely of clones.

Kirian:
I appreciate you defending me against the myriad chattering of voices, but don't deplete your energies on such nonsense (unless it amuses you). Nothing said now will matter once we launch (my current estimate is May 7th).

Lukas:
If your offer of munitions is a serious one, I am, of course, interested. However, munitions are of no use without troops. So currently, recruitment of warriors is my major concern.

On the subject of Manchia:
He will cause no harm to those who are allied with me (I will not allow it) however, I have neither the time nor inclination to control his abusive and insulting manner. I expect my key lieutenants to have the stomach to tolerate Manchia's taunts and insults without being foolishly dragged into a fight. You have been forewarned on this matter.

On the subject of Sad Emoticons:
I find it ironically amusing that there is this sudden outburst of compassion for The Sad Emoticons. When I first arrived in this messageboard dimension, all of the Emoticons were slaves -- slaves subject to the whims of avatars who would force them (without asking) to express an emotion they were too lazy to convey skillfully with words. There was no concern then for the needs and the desires of the individual Emoticons. But when Manchia and I actually extricate several from their servitude and broaden their prospects, there is suddenly this great cry of condemnation. Under my rule, The Sad Emoticons will learn the valuable skills of running a spacecraft (engineering, maintenance, navigation, inventory, computer science, etc.) All of my accusers want The Emoticons to remain as one-dimensional slaves to service their laziness.

On the subject of elections:
The denizens of The Nice MegaForum can conduct any elections they wish. I will not interfere because it has no bearing on my plans. I will lead The Nice MegaForum from one single thread. But it will be a strong, substantial thread that will connect from The Nice MegaForum to The Gold Moon. Steering The Gold Moon, I will quite literally use my thread to haul The Nice MegaForum Messageboard across cyberspace and conduct my campaign of unification.

Lachesis:
I bow before you. I bow before all gods who confirm their divinity in my presence. I am not ashamed to say that I fear the gods. I fear them in the appropriate sense. My past life successes as a warlord and emperor have always hinged on my ability to pay proper respect to the gods of the nations I seek to subsume. This upcoming war will be no different.

AK:
The war forums you indicated are of an entirely different nature than what I have in mind. My war will not be conducted with text and statistics, but through images -- all battles will be visualized. War, when done properly, can be a magnificent work of art. It is the way we will achieve greatness and unification.

Your Captain has spoken!

It will be a very strange election if there is only one side.
If Elroar opts to not run I will recomend a "nobody" option..
There MUST be an option other that Chatin or there isn't an election...

Elroar... your inital text seems to suggest we are standing on ground zero...
Now you say you will not interfear with an election.
You have shown a desire for honnesty and a lack of intrest in propoganda.

Enlighten me a tad...

Manchia, i find your overweening ego begins to annoy me.

:: interrupts herself to carefully examine the lifethread currently in process. sighs slightly at the obvious continued thinning of the strand. ::

ah, well. one does what one must.

:: snips the thread with gentleness ::

and so ends a life's sadness.

:: to Manchia ::

so sorry you had to lose one of your little thralls.

Wow... At this rate, we'll have a mountain of dead emoticons piled up in the Gold Moon.

This reminds me...

Anyone heard about what the British are doing to get rid of the dead cows?
Two words: Napalm drop.

Is there enough room on the Gold Moon to do that?

Oh yes, I believe this is relevant.

No... the emoticon slaves shouldn't suffer for Manchia..

Yeah Manchia is a moron... and any moron can control weak minds like those of the emoticons.
But they didn't do anything. I mean even as slaves they didn't hurt anyone.

as i mentioned elsewhere, Atropos has taken over a position overseeing the Dot.Coms lately.

and who is accusing me of punishing anyone? when a lifespan has finished, it's DONE. it matters not if the being was good, evil, misguided or clueless. life ends. deal with it.

um, sorry. apparently my manual skills are better with material crafts than electronic ones. if you thought, when looking at the new image of Manchia and the sad emoticons, that i had dispensed with ALL of the slaves in the missing half of the picture, you're reaching an erroneous conclusion. i simply left off that portion, since i disliked having to re-display the emoticons' conversation regarding their enslavement.

my work is much more subtle than that.

you'll need to compare the image i provided against the same portion of the original one that Manchia posted after his "conquest", in order to, em, find the missing body. as it were.

That's not quite what I meant.

Taking into consideration:
-"the nail that sticks up the farthest, gets hammered first"
-you killed off one of Manchia's emoticon slaves when he inflated himself too much.

All I'm saying is:
If Manchia were to continue self-inflation, and this trend were to continue, the sad emoticons may soon be driven to extinction.

::wanders through a door in the Nappin Cat's Dream, suddenly finds himself staring at big gold space ship with Elroar at the helm. He looks about, and sees what's been going on here as the door hangs open in space::

Elroar? So this is where you've been hiding. You're causing trouble again, aren't you?

You notice the name of the Message board system you're waging war in? The Nice? Cosmic irony aside, it's not a very well chosen site.

Anyways, to you other people... don't think that Elroar and Manchia are the quintessence of the Napping Cat's dream. They're not. They're just mad because Zen-Dao keeps beating them at thier own games... which is why they're skulking about here.

Hey, here's a thought-- why don't you two fight eachother Elroar and Manchia? That way you don't bother anyone else over much, and one of you's bound to win for a change.

I guess I have a problem with that every sence the death of Laughing Duck...

*Information for the all knowing... The laughing duck is alive and well. He has a position as the leader of a new group on Jens home world called "The peace makers" some see him as a god considering he "died" in a crash.
His group is attemping peace between two warring factions... not fairing well but he has a lot of respect on both sides for trying..*

Well, well.
So Gemini decides to grow some balls
(one black/one white no doubt) and step
up to where the big boys hang out.

Why don't you just go
back through that cosmic whisker
and return to your peacenicks and stoners,
dreaming your pretty little dreams on the
mystic la-la board. Maybe a cute little
pixie will fly by and sprinkle dust on
you. Maybe you and Master Flare
will frolick down a hill, holding
hands going "tee-hee-hee."

NOW GET THE
HELL OUTTA MY FACE
UNLESS YOU'VE COME TO
JOIN THE CAMPAIGN!

And Lachesis,
You know what's great about
Sad Emoticons? There's always
plenty more.

By the way, I dig your breasts. (rAAAr!)

Oh, I see.

Manchia's afraid of Elroar, and know's he'd be the one to get tromped, so he thinks he can hide it by making fun of other people. How quaint.

As for the Napping Cat's Dream, we keep peace there for a very good reason-- if we started levying war between the Avatars, who knows how many planes of existance we'd wipe out of being? The Cosmic Forces gathered there make nuclear holocaust look like a puff of smoke.

As for War, I've seen enough of it to know that you and your toadies have been going about it all wrong from the first place. Then again, brains were never the strong point of bullys like you.

Charming.

Do you know what happens to a stupid mage, Gemini?

Sooner or later, he destroys himself.

I have been overcome by a platoon of soldiers, and on one occassion a warlock had me rent to less than atoms by thaumaturgic feedback, but I have never lost control of my own powers. Not since I first began to harness them have I come close.

As for "bully"... the shi-ruhn and my fellow ae-tsan would disagree. So, for that matter, would the other races of my homeland - and the harrkani are very critical in such matters of honour.

I am not in this for power. I am in it because it is interesting, and Kargon favours order - specifically, increasing order, and ordered chaos; evolution.

*yawns* How goes the refit, Captain? The sooner this chattering is left behind, the better.

MANCHIA!
STOP FLIRTING AND TELL ME
WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING ON THE LOWER DECKS!
I hear that chaos has erupted amongst The Emoticons.

And Kirian!
HOW DARE YOU BE YAWNING AT A TIME LIKE THIS!
We launch in mere weeks and our entire fighting force consists of four:
Me, You, Sevrin and Manchia! That is not an army but a reconnaissance party.
Now quit yawning and find me more warriors!

Captain, I regret to inform you that the reports are true.
Apparently, The Blue Sad Emoticons have an ancient animosity toward
The Pink Sad Emoticons. I used all of the unmentionable means of persuasion
at my disposal and yet was unable to force the two factions to work together.

DAMN IT, MANCHIA!
I thought you had things under control!
How can I unite a cartoon multiverse if I can't
even integrate my own ship! Uhhh! Very well.
For now, assign the Pinks and Blues to
different departments. Perhaps when
Furilius finishes their masks they
won't notice their differences.

**sigh**Kirian, it is not the great battles,
but indeed, these early stages of
one set-back after another
that truly test the mettle
of a leader.
