At The Ice Rink (( Open to male or female ))

The cold air floated off the icy surface while pairs and loners circled around the giant ellipse. Vendors were selling various foodstuffs in their stalls nearby shadowed by the towering skyscrapers of Anycity. The busy streets move along as if they had always done so. Meridian brought her own skates this time, most to save a few dollars from the renter. She sits down on a bench and unties her boots to put on the skates.
Watching the people go round and round in circles. With skates firmly tied she walks over to the entrance and slightly steps down onto the surface. Taking off the skate guards she can now freely move about on the ice, stuffing them away in a pocket of her fatigues. Everything is going fine, she's going around in circles like everbody else until her left skate decided to break on her.
With the envitable crash that ensuses she silently, and by silently meaning without a speech balloon, she curses. Now she'll have to take off her skates and go get a pair of rented ones. Looks at how bad the damage is to the skate, the front support is broken and the skate is bent of to the right, maybe she could get them repaired here or put on a new blade.

Minuit saw some one sitting out, frustratedly inspecting her skates. looking down at the skates in her hand, she gets an idea.
'I could lend her mine... occoro picked out the wrong skates anny way... he constantly forgets that i have er... claws.' she looked down to her paws sighing at the thought of squeezing them into human shoes. 'i just hope that she doesn't think i'm some kind of stalker...'she walked over to the bench where the woman was sitting.
occoro looked up from his bean paste snack that he stole from one of the vendors to see that his companion had left him. "duce!" he exclaimed as he took flight, chasing after her.

While she's inspecting her broken skates she looks up to see a feline approach her, by instinct she bristles and return to her skates. Being raised by canines she not overly fond of felines but she fights back instinct and sees what the feline wants of her. She creates a speech balloon out of nothing and lets the feline read it while she starts to undue her laces, at least she can save them.
"Do you need something?"

"Well, I uh, just noticed that you were having some problems, and I uh, was wondering if..." Minuit paused and internally cursed her self for acting so shy. She just wanted to be of help to the stranger, but she didnt have the guts to do so. "you need aa new set of skates, because i could lend you a set, i accedentally got the wrong kind... and...I uh... i hope these are the right size..." minuit starred off blankly at her shoes, deeply blushing, feeling like an idot.

Meridian must look very scary right now or Minuit is just that shy. She finishes with the laces and tucks them away. She's not one to turn down a gift so she takes the skates and stands up holding both pairs of skates. Then she starts walking toward the edge where she'll be able to put them on in safety. As an afterthought she turns around and sends Minuit a new speech balloon.
"You coming?"

Minuit looks at the woman tentively, "uhm.. sure." she smiles sweetly and fallows suit.

A white and silver kitsune makes his way out onto the ice. He skates lazaly in a circle around the rink, nodding polightly in greeting as he passes them.
