Learning Lessons #50 new
      #490998 - Tue Jun 01 2004 01:54 PM

"Mr. McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
The classics sum it up best don't you think? An simple line of dialogue from an old TV show that deals with a man turning into a monster when angry.
That line sums up this week's Learning Lesson quite well. There are those that feel their anger is overwhelming them and they want help in dealing with it.
Find out more in this week's featured Learning Lesson: Anger Management

Learning Lesson #51 new
      #493094 - Thu Jun 10 2004 07:16 AM

History has produced many ideas, some great, some whose results remain unclear,
it is up to the individual to decide the ranking of those ideas both far and near.
In this week's Learning Lesson, there is no debate, just a discussion of ideals, regardless of fate.
He's laid down his guns and picked up his books,
the Dream's Revolutionary has presented a different look.
Keep in mind he's answered questions about his ideals,
this isn't a DEBATE so keep things cool and real.
So think about it and discuss things practical,
In this week's Learning Lesson,
Ask a Radical!

Learning Lesson #52 new
      #495215 - Thu Jun 17 2004 03:45 PM

According to some writings on Noah's Ark, two of each animal went in, one male and one female. Reica Selen wonders if the same holds true to the Dream, a question made much more complicated by the fact that there are many avatars who don't exactly get classified as either. Check your gender and share your thoughts on how to go about tackling this problem in this week's featured Learning Lesson, Male and Female Ratios.

Learning Lesson #54 new
      #498472 - Thu Jul 01 2004 05:24 AM

Who are you? Where do you come from? What do you do?
There is a place where you can find these answers and more too!
It is your profile, it describes who you are within the DREAM
and allows others to understand what makes you scream.
So since this is the main way others look at you,
you want it to be the best it can be, isn't that true?
This week's Learning Lesson is working on just that,
Erica's How to write a Profile (Tutorial) is to help your words from falling flat.
Before you go, "I know what I'm doing, pish posh poo poo,"
take a look, you might learn something new.

      #500440 - Fri Jul 09 2004 09:08 PM

What's your game?
What's its name?
Is it fun?
Can you play with more than one?
Might you be a vampire in disguise?
Or a Kiligon with cold warrior eyes?
Perhaps you aren't sure and seek something more thrilling than Whist,
Well then, check out this week's featured lesson, Phoex's RPG System List!

for raising our anotomical cognition.

And end up with things that burn, ache, or itch.
So this week we dedicated to lessening the pain,
Read them, I told you that they’d explain.
This week’s Lessons are Keijya Cherok’s Take care of your back and Noelle’s Summer Ailments and Home Remedies

For me it's simple and works like this,
lie down on the bed and from side to side twist,
tug the sheets and on the pillow chew,
and then I'm snoring, simple and true.
Well maybe not every night,
but very often and that's alright,
because once that's done then I dream,
it might be pleasant or maybe obscene.
Either way I know not how it's done,
just that to me it's pretty fun..
Now Amethyst needs aid
in finding sleep and getting dreams made!
So help her out in thss week's Learning Lesson,
class on "How to Dream" is now in session!

Learning Lesson #60 new
      #510870 - Sun Aug 29 2004 07:08 PM

A prism does light divide,
and a color program does image provide.
Levantine seeks a combination of both,
and STrRedWolf does advice provide forth.
Perhaps you know of another option,
to add to this week's Learning Lesson,
Is there such a program or function...

Learning Lesson #64 new
      #516171 - Sun Sep 26 2004 07:22 PM

This week's Learning Lesson follows in the path of the words sung by Diana Ross, not so long ago.
I'm coming out,
I want the world to know
Got to let it show
I'm coming out

And while around here that could mean a multiitude of things,
this time around it refers to a plea for help from The Ora's.
The time has come for their Player to depart their current home,
wisely she is seeking advice from those of us that have done it already.
So make sure your deposit is down, payments are up to date and the electricity's still on and come to this week's Learning Lesson, "For those on their own..." to add some advice.
Oh yeah, Renter's Insurance anyone?

Light is bent by it,
it pulls the stars around.
But does it affect heat?
Where can the answer be found?
Well perhaps if you weigh things up,
you'll see the situation clear,
and visiting this week's Learning Lesson
will bring more information near.
Is heat affected by gravity?

Just what the #@*$ are you looking at?
Do you even have a darned clue?
Perhaps you really don't,
so I might just fracking tell you.
Some people use certain words when they get mad,
entirely different than when they're glad.
Neema's trying to find out how to do this right, or so she's confessin'
To find out more take your friggin self on over to take a look at this week's featured lesson.

Smoked? Roasted? Raw? To me they all taste fine,
however to some it is an unpalatable find.
But then again I'm a carnivore, but not all are,
however Melenna is seeking a way to make meat go far.
Your advice is requested in helping perform this feat,
found in this week's lesson, "Concerning preservation of meat..."

BLOW 'EM UP!! CHOP 'EM UP!!! SHOOT THEM FROM THE SKY!!!!
Or perhaps you're more the type to stomp on a mushroom passing by.
Either way it matters not, a gamer you still are,
and subject to the dreaded glitches that gum the works up so far.
This week's Learning Lesson has Zendo seeking HELP!!
Perhaps his fellow gamers can help him seek it out?
If you think you know the answer why not give a shout,
and if you're looking for help on figuring out a glitch
Why not mention it and perhaps we can help you scratch that irritating itch.

The Blue Screen of Death. What more can I say?
It seems a new Windows user encounters it everyday.
However other errors and flaws often appear
and cause many problems in one's rear.
One such instance is now a prepetual restart,
and is causing problems for one Dreamer's mind and heart.
So bring your advice, (like buying an Apple or moving to Unix,)
and visit this week's featured lesson to help this problem fix!

Learning Lesson #71 new
      #531559 - Sun Dec 19 2004 07:54 PM

Home. It is where the heart is, or so they say.
Perhaps it is merely a place to restrain a fray.
In my case it is where I lay my weary head,
quite comfortably in my icy cold bed.
However it can be more than just that,
and that sort of thing is what this Featured Lesson is at.
How does one craft a character's home?
Is a noisy city where chaos and crime to freely roam,
or a perhaps quiet monastery to sit and go "Oooohmmmmm"?
Whatever it is, it is up to you,
and Sam Cavaro would like to know how to do it too.
So bring your bricks, your motar, and spackling paste
to answer the question of "What makes a Good Settle Thread?" in good taste.

Time is quite relentless, on its march must go.
Years pass by and Avatars travel to and fro.
Some never seem to change, but others really do.
It is this fact that makes Seiko question you.
Does your avatar age? And if it does, how so?
So come to this week's featured lesson,
"Ageing your avatar?" if you know.

Learning Lesson #73 new
      #535070 - Sun Jan 09 2005 05:05 PM

Well, now the lesson this time is simple you see...

*is interrupted by a Yetagorn with a bunch of papers, which the dragon reads carefully*

Really?
*the Yetagorn nods*

Alright, then this changes everything, ah well, here we go,
It seems that we've covered lots of things here in Learn's posts.
however there's a computer topic of which yet we have to boast.
Unix, Macs, Windows too, all of those we've covered a bit.
But it seems we've missed a crucial computer community element.
That is the fringe bunch, also known as the modding crew,
who take the machines and make them do things they really shouldn't do.
So in honor of their expermentation and fun,
one of their discussions is this week's Learning Lesson!
Snark Sauk, with an introduction, started things to fly,
and got things going for others to comment and reply.
So now join the fun of puttering around,
in the Lesson, Possibly a dumb computer question... where the Tech Lingo doth abound!

Your nose might turn red out in the cold,
your face wrinkle as you grow old,
however there might be other things
that your body changes might harbring.
In Cave's case its a color change,
which she wants a possible cause range.
So stop by and see what other's know,
In the latest learning lesson, Purple Toes? (Zombie Toes??)
