Does it exist?
If a college degree in onomastics exists, at what level can it be achieved? As far as I can tell, onomastics seems to a subcategory of linguistics. Although, I've seen it under geography, psychology and history, among others. I know all these fields follow under anthropology, but is anyone aware of what sort of path should one take when desiring to pursue a career in onomastics (specifically, anthroponomastics/anthroponymy)?
