Hey folks. This thread is going to be pretty open.
Im looking for help picking out hardware for a new gaming computer. I have 1500 Dollars to work with as a maximum, but Im trying to come in under budget. I would like this computer to be able to last as long as possible in terms of not needing to upgrade to new hardware.
Please, for those of you with advice give 'specific' hardware recommendations, preferably with Links to Newegg or a similar hardware sale site.
If anyone is willing to sit down with me on AIM An talk it out, my AIM Is Jimmy Rayner 2.

Let's see if this wishlist feature on Newegg works right. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=10373288
This should get you a current Intel native Quad Core with 4 gig of RAM, Radeon 4850 graphics card, 4gig DDR2-1066 (DDR3 is still too expensive), 750GB HD with 5-year (instead of 3) warranty, DVD-burner with lightscribe running SATA for better cable routing, SDHC-capable internal card reader with built-in floppy drive, PC Power&Cooling PSU @750w (this brand actually will deliver on their wattage rating unlike most), tool-less kit case from an off-brand (I've used them before they actually are pretty good), and XP home (I've never seen a good argument for ANYONE needing pro unless they're on a large corporate network).
