Re: Amethyst's great heist new

Santo liked his odds against the cops on his road chase. He had a few tricks up his sleeves himself, yet the truck wasn't too maneuverable and couldn't take turns too much better. Spotting the Ferrari saddened him since that would be checkmate to this little chase. Blazing past the nice car, he was about to pull off into another road which would've help even more with the tightness when the thief heard the window break in the passenger seat. Ame apparently was either bored, pissed, or something, but she grabbed one of her metallic balls of some sort and lobbed it behind them smack dab in front of the car.

As it exploded, Santo saw the vision of chaos behind them as some of the cars veered around the wreckage while some just crashed into each other. Now, only half or less were following them. "Now, that is what I'm talking about. Tell me you have another?" Santo said with a huge grin on his face. He loved the sight of explosion when they didn't involve him running. The thief still had a few surprises of his own as he now floored the pedal to the metal. There was an intersection he wanted to take which would start a series of crazy turns where they might be able to lose most if not all of them. Or he would set a trap with some road spike tacks he used to deter pursurers on foot.

Soon enough, since this small town is in the middle of freaking nowhere, Santo and Ame, along with their stolen vehicle and entourage of furious police, are going to leave the border of Giddyham and end up on what some people would refer to as a RedNeck expressway. That is, it's a large empty road, kinda paved (it's long in need of repair, so the potholes are geo-eating), and leads off in the middle of nowhere towards the mountains off there in the distance. The only good luck about this road is that there are tall trees all over the place and many hills to theoretically hide behind. The bad news? The cops will have the boxing ability back. That is, the cars that survive. And don't go saying they turn back, on this road there is no turning back.

Ame was pretty smug with her last smoke bomb rebellion against the cops and was soon pulling out another one. When Santo asked her if she had anymore, she was able to yell back over the sirens, "Yeah, four and one more cocktail." before chucking another out the window. Another flash, another boom, another heap-load of smoke and chaos. And another few very persistent driving bastards that were still dogging them.

Soon the potholes would hamper Santo's ability to drive straight, and would thereafter hamper Ame's ability to throw deadly projectiles from the broken window. That and the cops were now opening fire on them - especially at the tires. A stray bullet knocks out Santo's driver's side mirror. A few more bullets bounce off the truck or hit the back door of it. It wasn't like these cops meant to shoot like drunken stormtroopers, it's just that they're having a similar difficulty with the road conditions.

Now, the thief was getting annoyed. He thought the roads were going to be better. Instead, they were twice as worse as they should be. The potholes made him think thrice about pulling any maneuvers or stunts that might've gotten them away or hide. The police cars probably had more maneuverability than the ExFed truck. When the side mirror got knocked off, it was the last straw.

"Here!! Use these when you run out of those explosives!!" he yells handing her tacks which to stop them in their tracks. "They are tire tacks and will deflate their tires. Lay them out in a line. Try to wait until there are two major potholes close to each other and while they are in a single line. That would be the perfect time."

If she used them, they would be around four feet long and sharp, so she would have to be careful. Looking down the road, he can see hills and trees. For now, her explosives would have to do. These potholes will have to end eventually. If there were still cars left, Santo would find the next clearing through the wood and pop the e-brake spinning the truck toward that direction. Since the truck had a higher suspension than the cars, it would maneuver much better on grass and rock.

Bloody well, I spent all this time thinking you put down spike strips and started my entire post revolving around Ame wondering where Santo pulled 4 ft spike strips from his person. When I sat back and looked at the post again under a more, um, level-headed mind, I realized that I should probably look up tire tacks. You know, Tire Tacks. Okay, that clears things up. But 4 foot tire tacks? How is ame going to get those out of hte car? You sure you didn't mean 4 inches? Or that they expanded to 4 ft upon impact with the ground? Bloody well, that'd make a good comic strip. I'm going to jot this down.

Amethyst, after pulling random instruments of smalltime destruction from random pockets, mindlessly wondering in all the frenzy where she put her other three smoke bombs, was suddenly handed some menacing looking spikey things. She glanced over at Santo and wondered where he got these from, but didn't wait to think about it. At his persistant explanation, the woman poked her head out the broken window and looked back at what cops followed them. But what with all the swurving and tipping of the truck, not to mention being shot at, she could never get a good chance to throw them at the right time.

"[censored] it" She said at last, chucking all the tacks out the window. A few bounced harmlessly with no damage to the cars, one plinked off a cop windshield. The rest did their thing and took out cop car tires. If that wasn't enough, she suddenly found her smoke bomb inner robe pocket and chucked those out.

Officer Chad was not going to let the Robed Thief and Green Menace get away that easily. As his buddies took the damage from the sudden onslaught of tacks, he hit the grass driving and swurved back onto the road haphazardly. Seeing he was the last of the cars, he knew it was his mission, his duty, to be hte one that will cut this truck off and stop it. That was until three small steel balls plinked and caught in his windshield. "What the?"

The last of the cars tailing the two exploded in a fury of destruction and, well, explosiveness. This took out any chance for the others to follow as not only did the car also explode, but it took out a part of the road and set the surrounding grass and trees on fire. Movie-style explosion is what I'm getting at.

With all the chaos left far behind them, there was only one issue left for Santo and Ame: The road was suddenly missing. That's right, it appears that there was recently a flood and it took out the road right over where a creek once was. This left a hefty mini Canyon gap with a decent way down. The guard rails that once protected cars from falling off of the bridge were broken off and wrecked up at odd angles. Blocks of concrete protruded from the creak banks. Long wires, some electrical, some piping, suck out from both ends of where the bridge began and ended.

And damned be it all, if I only took a picture of that one bridge that collapsed at the farm a few months ago I could show exactly how this looks. Until then, picture this.

((Haha, four foot spikes...that is a hoot. My bad))

Even among the chaos, Santo couldn't help but laugh at his traveling companion and her wild and crazy antics. Fortunately, once she threw everything out the window, the chase was over within seconds. He couldn't physically tell since his side mirror was shot off, but hearing the large explosion and the quieting of the sirens gave him what he needed to finally have some sort of hope.

That hope was shattered when he crammed his foot on the brake screeching the truck to a halt. Amethyst would probably be thrown forward against the windshield while Santo would be forced against the steering wheel as well. The truck might've slid side to side hopefully not tipping over. Seeing the large gap in the road made him second guess his odds of jumping it. At first, the thief couldn't see anything that would help. Maybe she would see something once she stopped yelling at him for stopping and making her crash into the windshield.

Once they reached a halt, however, it happens, Santo calmly says in an astonished and deer-in-a-headlight look, "We have a problem."

(Here ya go! Let's assume Santo's previously driven Corgi seat is low while in the truck, and that's why he's shorter than Ame in this one instance.)

Sometimes it really sucks when things don't go the way you think. With the momentum of the ExFed truck as it took a fast-paced journey away from pursuing, and flammable, copper mobiles, coupled with Ame's lack of knowledge about seat belts, Santo's hard stomp on the break pedal didn't only send Ame at the windshield, but straight through it. She's not only sent out the front window with gusto, the crazy bandit woman is also throw over the edge of the broken bridge.

There is some good news in this tail. For one, being a werewolf during the time of this rp, Ame is not going to instantly die from her impact with the windshield, nor her landing. The other spiffy details are that the creek is not far below the bridge and she lands in it with a splash. It's not like Santo knows any of these details, though, so outside of hearing the splash when he stops just short of killing himself and the truck, he's welcome to think whatever he wants on the situation.

Should Ame have still been in the truck, she would have pointed out the small dirt road leading off the main RedNeck Express to the left. And the large warehouse-like building not far down it, hidden in all the trees.

After a moment of silence, Ame swears off from down below. From there she starts to make her way up the embankment - swearing the entire time.

((Too funny))

Santo, not wearing his seatbelt either, tried to braced himself while grabbing the scruff of Ame's collar. He failed to think that his grip would hold the wolf down as she was thrusted out of the windshield and into the missing piece of the road. The thief first thought she was dead until he heard the splash. This was when he thought, "She's going to kill me."

Looking around the place, he noticed the road on the left finally which made him think that she really is going to kill him. Maybe the impact would kill her, and he could take the money all for himself. The thought quickly passed when he heard her climbing up from the water. The thief unglued his hands from the steering wheel which was slightly bent now due to the force of the stoppage. He stepped out to see if she needed help. Reaching the edge he saw the dripping wet wolf climbing as he reached to help her up if she needed or wanted it. Santo was ready for a good punch in the face. He wasn't going to ask if she was alright since it really was a stupid question considering the circumstances.

He simply said, "You really know how to make one's day exciting."

Okay, okay, enough wolf talk. Ame's going full bitch mode later tonight (in rp time), so let's surprise Santo then.

Once up the rough bank, the murderous woman steps up to Santo, glancing at him through the blood that streams down the side of her now green-cleaned face, and hits him. At least he was prepared for this. And that's good considering Ame doesn't hold back on a full-knuckled punch. After that and a bit of hyperventilating, the woman unsheaths her sword, points it at him, glowers more with those dark green, psychotic eyes... Should it be mentioned by now that she looks like a wet rat with all of those robes being soaked through like that? No, probably not. Now where was I? ...From there she says to him in a level, pissed voice, "I... am going... to kill you."

She pointed the sword slowly to the truck, then continued, "..." Or didn't. No, no words could quite express how she felt right now. The blood continued to run down from her forehead, and it was clear from the fall that she probably sustained other injuries. Oh look, she's removing a shard of glass from her arm. There you have it.

The woman continued to breath angrily at Santo, before stepping over to the Exfed passenger door, struggling with it, kicking it really hard with a wet, sandled foot, and popping the door open with a fresh dent in it.

Santo said his last line and that caused her to pause. She sheathed her sword, not turning towards the thief. "Let's go." And got back into the truck.

((Classic, just what I'd expected))

Santo took his punch which was harder than he thought, but it could be worse. The force of the punch made him twist his body slightly giving him a good welt on the side of his face. Blood trickled from the side of his mouth. Maybe the punch would cause her to calm hdown from her rage. This was when Ame pulled her sword on him. Now, things were going worse. For a second with her psychotic eyes and hyperventilation, Santo believed for a split second that she would attempt to stab him. Would the thief be fast enough to dodge and counter?

His only tactic was to play on her playful side. "You really know how to make one's day exciting," he said with a half-smile hoping it would work. Seeing that it did work, Santo breathed a little bit deeper and followed her back to the truck.

Not saying a word was the best advice he gave himself. Strapping himself in, he wipes the blood from his mouth with his sleeve and puts the truck in reverse as he pulls the in line with the road on the side. Shifting into drive, they ride up to the warehouse hoping nothing else traumatic happens.

So yeah, they drive the beaten, shot truck down the small dirt road to the warehouse. From the distance, it looked like the hidden warehouse was abandoned. But as they drove further, random colorful signs were posted up on the other side of the large building. But bloody well did it take a while for them to get there. Sure the distance was short, but the road was tiny. They were scraping against angry tree limbs on the trip. Clearly this was either a warehouse barely used, or the path they took was an alternative exit.

Ame didn't do much during the trip outside of being visibly pissed. She didn't close the truck door all the way, but the trees on their drive did that for her. Random wooden limbs reached in through her window as well as the windshield to pester them.

And then they were there. It wasn't just a warehouse, it was an auto warehouse. On the other side was a small ghetto shack and all around it were signs. "Jack's Shack" "You Jack em and we Stack em" "Auto Parts for Cheap!" "The Price is a Steal!" "Great Repaint!" Oh, there's even a sign image of a crowbar over a car.

The warehouse, unfortunately at the moment, has the doors closed, padlocked, electrified in barbed wire, and thurrowly thief protected. Lights are on in the house, though.

Still angry, Ame kicked the truck door open in a large explosion of foot-on-metal action. She stomps out and inspects the building. "Hm..." Then turns towards Santo. "Let's rob this place, too. And kill all inside. Then blow it up." She was too pissed to think of anything else coherently.

The silence was welcoming in a way, but it was also quite scary due to the fact that Ame was probably still venting from being thrown into the water. Not even closing the door was another sign of frustration, and now she was getting the seat and truck wet. It didn't matter since they would be ditching this one for another soon.

Reaching the warehouse, it apparently was an auto shop of some sort. Their luck couldn't get much better. That is until Ame suggested robbing this place and killing its inhabitants as well. Santo just sighed, "We don't even know who's inside and if they have a massive amount of artillery and weapons," he says stepping out as well to inspect the fence line. Throwing a large, dry stick into it and the barbwire on top, Santo saw the sparks blazing from the stick.

"Maybe we can jump over the fence from on top of the truck. We can figure things out from there," he suggested since the power box was the unknown piece to dismantling the electricity.

Oh no, It looked like Ame was going to do it. She started trudging over to where that shack was. Zap! No, that wasn't Ame, that was Santo testing the fence. Good guess, though. Amethyst turned back at him, looking like the psychotic murderer she was. And from her chaotic sword-holding position she muttered the words. ".. What are you doing?" Sadly, Santo's words about truck hopping went unheard. That was a very good suggestion! Damn, why didn't I follow through with that one? Too late now, I guess.

"Whut are you kids doing out here? You bringin me a truck?" Someone stepped out of the shack, a large bazooka slung over his shoulder, looking ready to ward off intruders. It was an opossum anthro, dressed up in jeans and a green loose t-shirt with 'Jacks Shack' on the front. For what some would consider a hillbilly, this anthro was absolutely ripped; he clearly went through the effort to look intimidating. That and the bazooka didn't tone down that notion at all.

Ame stopped. It was clear straight from her expression that, dispite being from circa 1980, she was quite aware of what a bazooka could do - at least from her previous adventures here in TheDream. "uh..." She faltered, then sheathed her sword and looked at Santo. Her mean nature was torn straight out of her with that one. For what Santo could quite possibly see, Ame was looking for some hint of guidance. It wasn't like she could go after the marsupial rat without having her lower half blown off.

((A bazooka? Haha, I love it  ))

The thief had expected someone to be home, but he didn’t expect one to be strapped with a bazooka. The hillbilly did seem to be more than a lazy mechanic at a local shop. His ripped muscles didn’t really intimidate Santo, yet he had to wonder why the bazooka was pulled out and why security was so tight. Having the bazooka pointed at them and their money only pissed Santo off. ”A truck and shipment of assorted parts if you’re interested. There is a big block underneath the hood which should gain you a good price. I’m Ace and this is my hired security, Oni (shoot me later),” he said hoping the opossum would at least lower his bazooka to observe what they had. ”I would’ve came alone, but my area has been ridden of crooks and thieves and didn’t want to be mugged, maimed, killed, or whatever while proceeding around town. You can call me paranoid if anything.”

The bullet ridden truck was a funny site to see when Santo looked back himself. He wondered what the opossum would do if he accepted it. The thief’s primary goal right now was to either get the opossum alone out the gate with the electricity off, or he would let them proceed in and they could take over the place. They needed a vehicle anyways, so manipulating this hillbilly would be the first step in their endeavor.

Jack stepped up to the fense and peered at the two through his solid black eyes. "Youz better be no intruders like the last folks that tried to rob this place." he waved a tail at three badly constructed gravestones on the far side of the shack. "Cause I'ma gunna sick the dog on you if you pulls a funny. Hey Kids! Get out here!"

A handful of small opossum kits (I don't care if young opossums may not be referred to as kits, they're kits in this rp) run out from the shack, most dressed in handmedown overalls, the older ones wearing Salvation Army T-shirts, one only wearing a diaper. There were about 13. Clearly Jack has been around with the ladies, however many that may be. Hefting the bazooka into a better position, he frees up a hand and points at the truck. "Daddy's got somes business. Can you tell what I gotta do here? NOT YOU ALFRED! I taught you 'nough" He bared his teeth at the oldest, who shut up and stepped back.

"uh, um" Many of the little kits mumbled and sputtered, trying to think hard on this one. One of the younger ones pointed, "Repaint it?"

"Good, what else?"

"It's a holy truck, will it take me to heaven?" Another asked.

"NO, shut up before I beat you. That theres from bullets. This car's been shot at. Those shot at ain't going nowhere nears heaven... Anyway, I gotta fix them there holes to make it look like it isn't shot up. And replace the one side mirror. Anything else?"

"The glass! Gotta fix the glass!" Yet another chimed in, finally catching onto the game.

"That's right. Now before you all go fetch daddy some parts from the garage, what do I need to do with these people here?"

"Cheat em blind!" They all chimed in before running away.

"See?" Jack turned to Santo and Ame, setting down the bazooka. "So how much are you going to pay me for the window replacement, side mirror replacement, bullethole fixtureuppers, and repaint to make it not look like you just robbed Fort Knux, Mr Ace and Ms Oni. Don't think I'm just going to let you in without some hint of pay on my part." He steps over to the gate doorway, hits a switch, and a large rubber garbage can falls from a tree high above to the ground before Ame and Santo. The can is hitched to a tough chain chord that leads way back up into the canopy. "Fillerup first with what money you can spare and then I'll start the discussions on where I'm gunna look for free parts first."

Ame still didn't know what to do.

The thief never was bothered by children in the area. He'd rob a baby's rattle if it would get him a few pieces of monies, but 13 of them. This guy gets around indeed. As of right now, Santo only had a few options: 1. Give him some money to fix this beater up with a different paint job and a few modifications, or 2. Jack declines his offer and they leave to find a new car elsewhere. Santo truly loved negotiations.

Santo wasn't no fool to put free money into a can before negotiations. "5k?...no, 10k and no questions asked," the thief spoke in spite of what awful looks he was getting from Ame. That was more than enough for the cheap cocky opossum to live off of for a while without reveiling who they were. It would also enough so that it wouldn't nearly put a dent in the few hundred thousands he estimated they had in the back of the truck. The thief nearly waited for his response from the opossum.

((Free money? pssss >_>))

Ya know what? I'm tiring of this part of the rp and all of its complications. So I've decided to take this GTA style.

"Ks, but I'm gunna keep an eye on you, and you too!" Jack points at Ame. "Come 'ere, Duke!"

"Hey, wait a second. Oni? ONI!?" Ame finally catches on, getting ready to pound Santo a new lump on the head, right up until a 13 ft tall dog stands up from behind the shack, runs around it, and stands next to Jack. If intimidating wasn't enough, its mane then erupted in fire all the way down the back to the tail. It looked at the two behind the fence, raised its shoulders a little, and said, "Bwarf!" The sound echoing eternally over the trees.

"Good dog. He's only a puppy, ya know. I'm still teaching him the ropes. Act mean, Duke! Act mean!"

So yeah, there you have it. Ame is shut up again, the gate is opened, and Santo + truck are let inside. Amethyst, in all of her great mishaps on this rp, stays outside the fence. Cause, ya know, the opossum family put her off a little, but getting trapped behind an electric fence with a monster-sized hellhound is just about enough to keep her at bay.

Before Santo can post, everything goes to a cinema moment, the truck goes into the warehouse, everything blacks out, then the truck comes back out like it only took 10 seconds to repair the entire thing. Santo pays Jack at least 10,000 and is able to drive out of the area with no further problems. Ame gets in, they're directed to 'the better road', and they're off onto another road driving whoknowswhere.

This is probably going to leave more questions than solutions. What went on with the ink-trapped money bags? Did Santo open one with no issue? What was Ame doing this entire time? How did Santo not attack the family of marsupials when he had the chance? Why did Santo actually pay up 10,000 bucks in the first place? Did Jack ever look into the back of the truck and find anything of importance back there to bring up?

... Oh well! Too late to answer now.

So yeah, here the two were driving in their Ex Fed Symon's RubberBand truck - which was yellow with happy red-brimmed-white letters and a large rubberband next to "Symon's". Jack was even nice enough to replace the license plate for free. Santo and Ame were now driving down a more neutral scenery, part farmlands, part trees - and are still somehow heading towards the mountains that are still way off. The truck radio is now permanently stuck to a country station. Amethyst is starting to complain about hunger.

The time in the rp is 4 pm.

((Were you drinking, again?))

"He had to pick those awful colors and that stupid logo, didn't he?" Santo said coldly. He was quite satisfied at being alive with all his limbs in tact. They were at least 10k short, but there was plenty left over for both of them. He still was pissed that it would've been all avoided.

"You should've blown the place up. Jack could've tipped us off to the cops afterwards," the thief said again coldly. "Yet, he could be a good ally later on," he thought. As they traveled down the road, Santo finally realized that the radio was on a country station. He didn't cared for it one bit, but he didn't know what Ame liked. As the music started to get more annoying, Santo pushed the off button if it even worked, or at least he tried to turn it all the way down.

Now, of all things, Ame was hungry. Santo was hungry as well, but there wasn't anything in site except for occassional gas stations on the highway. Frustrated, he just stops at the next one since he couldn't stand anymore complaining. Why didn't they part ways a long time ago?

(Nope, I was completely sober when I made that last post. =P Unless my hot chocolate is spiked. Hmmm... I don't think I could spike hot chocolate successfully, what with all the heat and everything...)

Santo tried to turn the radio down, but something was seriously wrong with the volume knob. It either didn't work or made the volume a click higher. When he either turned it off or hit it, it would stop. Silence would resume... Foreboding silence. It didn't stop Ame any.

"He was a rat! A big, talking, buff rat! And he talked!" The woman finally exploded at him after muttering about her hunger. It took her a while to overcome the shock, let's say that. She splayed out her hands. "Binky wasn't even that big! Who the [censored] fed that rat?" There was a pause... "And that dog was [censored] huge! And on fire!"

After the entire experience thus far, Ame's composure has gone to [censored]. Her hair is a bit messed up, her clothing was still wet in places, and she still had a blood streak down her forehead. The only good news is that her face was no longer as green as her clothes. In all comparison, it seriously looked as if the woman was robbed, then dunked in a tank until help arrived. The only thing normal about her looks thus far were her psychotic eyes, but that still didn't help the appearance one bit.

When they finally pulled over - at a very rundown, small gas station between a corn field and a soy field - an old man came out to clean their windows and fill their tank for them. He wished them a good day and started without interruption (unless there was interruption, in which he would stop and wonder what was wrong.)

Ame got out of the truck, muttering about blowing up this place too, and stepped inside the small gas station building nearby. The old man watched her with curious eyes and asked Santo, "What's up with her? Did you two have a fight?" His words were half joking, half prodding.

Ame does look beat up and has had a very long day. They've only met, yet Santo feels that this day would never end. He bit off more than he could chew. Finally, resting at a hopefully quiet little gas station, he wonders how things will be here. Ame storms into the gas station probably looking for a bathroom or some food. The thief thought that she might actually rob the place or blow it up.

"A fight would be the least of our worries. This is probably the quietest moment I have had all day. Whew!!" he replies hoping it would not inquire for more questions. To make sure, Santo asks, "Do you have anything to eat here? Or a place to freshen up for her?"

Santo about said wife, girlfriend, or whatever, but he didn't think of what Ame would call him if they were indeed in a certain relationship; even friend would be pushing the envelope of possibly being caught. Santo realizes that he himself was in pretty bad shape from the dust and dirt caked on his clothes and skin. Not wanting to leave the truck, he simply waits for Ame to finish whatever she is doing inside. Maybe she would give him time to clean off some of the layers of dirt and grime, yet he did not want to leave the truck with her either in case she drove off. Then again, did she even know how to drive?

I should drop a cow on Santo. That would solve everything and get him into the building. After all, who would want to stay outside when it's raining cows?

Amethyst went inside the delightfully dank establishment and immediately found the toilet. She couldn't read, but due to the sheer reek of it, it wasn't hard to find. Man, when was the last time she used the restroom in this rp? Never? Well that solves that problem. With that taken care of, She used a papertowel and broke the sink in order to clean the blood off of herself and looked over her body for extra wounds. Bruised a rib somewhere in the thread thus far, and her right wrist twisted a bit ungracefully. Good, nothing broken. Not bothering to clean up her robes at all, the still damp, still ruffled woman stepped out and proceeded to check out a mini restaurant attached to the building, looking at the pictures on the menu.

"Can I help you?" The cashier asked.

"I need something with Meat in it." Ame replied.

A discussion and loads of suggestion ensued. This was going to get ugly since Ame didn't, at this moment, have any money on her.

The old man near Santo smiled. It was so rare that any couple with such an interesting personality choice stopped down this road. He pointed in the building that Ame went. "There is a BurgerHut in there, though the menu is small, and a bathroom. I'm sure she'll be able to find both easily." All of a sudden, he laughed. "Don't worry, you can go in, too. It looks like you'll need freshening up as well. I'll accept the payment for your gasoline before you leave." he winked. "And don't worry; it's not like anyone is going to run off with your truck. Who would need that many rubberbands?"

((You know I'm a man, well maybe. You have to be blunt with me at times if you wanted me to do certain things. Unless you're trying to speed things along?))

Santo kept his beat-up expression which looked like he was in a bit of a bad mood. "Sorry for my suspicions. She and this trip have put me in a bit of a bad mood. I think I shall go in as well, thanks" Santo smiled going around the back of the truck to get a roll of the money from the bag he opened. He closes the door which locked

Proceeding into the BurgerHut first, he sees Ame ordering something from the cashier. "Hey Kit, can you order something for me as well," the thief said non-chalantly pulling a 20 piece from his pocket and laying it on the counter. If she didn't it didn't matter. He figured she didn't have any money to begin with.

He left to leave for the bathroom. Santo looked awful as well. The blood on his mouth and the powder on his outfit made him unerstand why the old man say what he did. A fight was what it looked like indeed. He drained his bladder thankfully. Too much was on his mind which made him neglect his wasterwater :( and his blood on his lip. This was the perfect time to do what was necessary. Stepping out, he went to find Ame.

(I'm pretty blunt as a whole. The only time I literally make an rp move forward is when I really don't know what to do. Everything else is usually an option. When I wrote the last post, I was out of my senses and gobsmackingly retarded with alcohol, so the cow comment came out more like a command than a random joke. Oh well!)

Amethyst was busy arguing with the cashier about what to order. The poor guy first started telling her to pick something more specific off the menu, but Ame would have none of that. Why look through rows and rows of glowing scribbles hanging off the ceiling when this jerk could simply give her what she wanted: Meat. The second problem came when the cashier, after taking a second look at Ame, questioned if she had the money to pay for this. No, Ame didn't have the money, it was in the truck! ... Did Ame ever learn the denotation of cash amounts to bills, anyway?

Clearly, the way this was going, what the woman finally does order right will have some dirt and spit hidden between the buns.

The good news is that Santo came in at the nick of time to save her, plopping down a twenty and stuff. Now we were getting somewhere!

Santo, meanwhile, gets cleaned up in the bathroom with no real incident. The bathroom remained as filthy as ever, and no ninjas jumped out from toilet stalls to attack him. As such, all went well... Well, outside of the hygiene part. When he came back out, there are more nonsense going on at the BurgerHut counter. Between Ame and the cashier was a large stack of burgers, but it was clear that that went way over 20 dollars. The cashier was trying very patiently to explain this to Ame, even when the sword was pointed straight at him. Clearly this guy deserves a badge for tolerance.

Finding his way to the counter, Santo smacks his forehead, "What the hell is going on? I leave you for five minutes, and you cause all this trouble, again." The thief clearly didn't see everything that happened, but it looked like she ordered way more than she was supposed to. Good thing he carried more with him than he needed.

"Put down that sword and sit down," he forcefully tells Ame. "Just charge me for what is here?" he tells the cashier paying him and taking what he could to the farthest table in the corner. Hopefully, Ame comes to her senses and lightens up...just a little bit

((Yeah, right))

((Still loved the cow thing...didn't hurt my feelings, too much <_<; ))

Tumbleweed passes by outside. There's lonesome music on the wind, and the sun beats down on the dusty road outside. The door of the BurgerHut swings open, like a dramatic cowboy film, and Freya steps in, ruining the atmosphere a little with her presence. Sure, she's wearing a long brown trenchcoat and the milkmaid style has been mangled into some sort of cowgirl outfit, but it's the well-meaning, matronly expression and the flawless hairstyle that mar the appearance of a vagabond drifter.

She ordered a nondescript meal, with not half as much fuss as Ame or Santo had made. It would seem she was known in the area, as the service was swift and unquestioning, and the cashier (Hello-my-name-is-Biff-and-I'm-delighted-to-be-serving-YOU-today!) seemed to be looking at her nervously. Or was it just something in his eye?

Either way, Freya is soon sitting, eating her meal in the almost-farthest table of the room (since Santo dibbed the farthest). She occasionally looks up and eyes Ame and Santo, before returning to her lacklustre meal.

The wanted woman eventually takes her unknowingly befouled food - the stuff Santo can't take with him - while Santo pays and finds a table. Cashier Biff, meanwhile, after filling Freya's order with no problem, considers calling the police for all the hostility he's just endured. Hmmm... This could get exciting.

Santo sits down; Freya makes her entrance in classic cowboy style (insert whistling here), gets her food, and takes her seat; and Amethyst pushes past Freya to join Santo. What took Ame so long? Maybe she was too busy giving Biff mean faces and threats. If the roughed complexion of Santo and Ame don't at least moderately put Freya off, I'm sure Ame's smell will eventually do the job; something of a mixture of sweat, grime, sharp alcohol, and wet dog.

Ame sits there, eating her meat in bread, glaring at Santo quietly for a moment. She's still probably pissed about the truck window incident, or maybe that moment with the opossums. Or, no, she stops eating, chews... swallows... Thinks a little more.. Knots her eyebrows... And points at Santo, "What do you look like, anyway? I haven't actually seen your damn face yet. What's up with that robe 'nd hood thing, are you what? A leper?"

Outside, a farmer came up to the old gasoline filler guy and started questioning him, pointing at the rubberband truck. The old guy pointed towards the building and says something back. The farmer pulls down his straw hat in thanks and starts making towards the inside.
