Oohhh! Very nice cameo! Ward does such wonderful work. I'm sure Julia must be very proud to have that art for her collection now! If it was me, I'd frame that one!
Makes me wish the RP was suited for me to join. But the desired scenario just wasn't a very good fit for Ceera. I'd have a hard time powering down enough to fit that RP world, even in my vixen form. Ah well. Some other time, mayhaps, I might get to RP with Zen Dao or Val or the other original Avatars. Keep up the great work, Furilius, Ward! It's a good read so far!

When faced with the warning of an imminent attack from forces unknown, General Maximillian Tiberius Caine snapped into action and assembled a disorganized collection of strangers into a defensive team with a strategy. Things went awry when the attacking truckload of Sal's Construction Crew included a clerically enhanced Squealer Spell of Scaly Savagery--driving Caine berserk. But ally Major Abel was there to control Caine before he could unleash further Oni ouchies! |

Speaking as one more or less in the employ of a Player God, I must say that this is a nice and lively scene. Such emotion, such gut-wrenching pain...
All of you, your presence in this cameo was well-earned! Special congratulations to the General, for convincing portrayal of madness and rage which I'm sure had something to do with winning the challenge. It takes a certain level of skill to convey the effects a mind-altering state, especially when you might have wanted to do something else in the narrative.

Pssh, whatever General. You and Oni are just concerned because you can totally see her ankle in that shot. Ward was, though, generous enough to cover a glimpse of shin on the other leg with a dead reptile, so you really should be grateful enough for that.

. | Please congratulate Sovan Kawasagi, who (along with General Caine), tied for winning the 4th Posting Challenge and is awarded a Comic Cameo! Sovan prepared for and successfully described the assault by Sal's Construction Crew from his perspective. Sovan attempted to mentor a novice warrior, provide activation codes for the wall defences, distract the attackers with magical flares, and ultimately found himself engaged in close-range combat. While not all of his ambitious efforts were successful, he was able to neutralize his attackers without killing them. |
