New SETTLE Moderators

Hello. You've probably noticed some changes around here. For one thing the forum looks awful empty all of a sudden. First of all, let me assure you all the SETTLE threads still exist in our shiney new SETTLE Archive, available for viewing but not for editing.

Also there was some sort of clerical error and I've been put in charge of SETTLE.

Now despite the viral marketing campaign I know that not all of you know me. My name is Bob, or Bob the Outcast if you want to be formal. As of this moment I will also accept Big Brother, Exalted Leader, and Il Duce. I have been around here quite a while, but don't be fooled into thinking that's any sort of indicator that I know what I'm doing. I am a Canadian, but I'm expected to make a full recovery. Despite my overtones of Imperialism I assure you I am for the most part a friendly guy who would be happy to hear from you, and in fact you can reach me via Private Message here, or directly via email (bobtheoutcast AT gmail DOT com) or even AIM (bobthoutcast, with no "e" because that is how we roll).

While I'm saying hello here I also want to introduce my second-in-command, Angus Weaver, who may be better known to you SETTLE readers than I am. His ruthless backstabbing and lack of loyalty to anything but his own personal power makes him the perfect lieutenant for my ~~Junta~~ New World Order. At least until the first time he disagrees with me in which case you will all be invited to the Purge.

To business:

I have some ideas for this forum, which will hopefull start appearing within the next few weeks. A series of Five Week Plans, you could say. First and foremost, the Hello Pages will be back, revised and updated. I also have a plan regarding geography, and public spaces to enourage interaction BETWEEN locations as well as WITHIN them. With your help, we should be able to turn SETTLE into a living community in and of itself.

Well that's all I can think of immediately. I'll add more as I think of it, and I'm sure Angus is eagerly awaiting his chance to say hello as well.
