((OOC: *sigh* Really not on top of it this month, am I? I'll try not to skip again.))
Cafeteria
It is, in fact, a pair of legs! From what she can see from this angle, they're wearing a set of deep blue jeans. If one were to look into the top for some reason, there'd be only darkness to see. It's as if the inside of it (or the top, hard to tell) just soaks up the light, letting nothing escape.
"So, what do you see?" Raven asks in a whisper, as Morph walks him in close. "Is it feet or legs? I'll try to walk them out..." The legs start to step forward, right towards Alianna, and bump into the buffet table. "Oof... Okay, that wasn't right. I need to..." There's a couple of knocking sounds, leather on wood panel. "Okay, and turning..." Knock, knock, knock... shuffle shuffle. "Okay, so that way's air."
Morph's snickering a bit as Raven's legs start to walk along the buffet table to the dragoness's right, very carefully. It looks almost like a scared animal, trying not to be noticed as it moves step by step.

((OOC: Don't worry about it.))
Cafeteria
Alianna stared at the disembodied legs as they shuffled around. When they finally found the correct way to go, she walked around the buffet table got behind the legs, using her hands to guide them around it.
"So, now might be a good time to implement that idea of yours, Morph," she said continuing to guide the legs toward Morph and Raven.

(( OOC: I'm not dead! I'm getting better! *sigh* Thanks for your patience. ))
Cafeteria
Morph nods to Alianna, hunkers down, then springs up into the air to land on the legs, as if there were a flat platform on top of them. "Ta-daaa!" she cries. "There, now you're all together! I can act as your arms and body while we get the real ones..."
"Your arms are too short, Morph," Raven chimes in, shaking his head.
"Oh... Right." Morph rubs her chin. "Well, on to plan B. Permissions, sir?"
"... What're you doing? Oh, alright, it can't be too bad." Raven mutters something strange and arcane, containing sounds like ch'mod and emvee and short strings of numbers. "Done."
Morph nods with a wide grin, and claps her hands together. "Alright, let's do this!" There's an electronic buzzing noise, and suddenly, Morph isn't there anymore. There's a strange spinning light show made of little shards, and they coalesce into the form of a body and arms, lining up with Raven's head and legs. When the light dims, he seems whole. The basket's vanished, for now.
"Huh! Morph, I don't know how you did it, but... Wait, what?" He glances down at his new hands, and finds they're not quite right. They're covered in fur! Plus, there's a tail behind him, waving back and forth in agitation. From the neck down and waist up, he looks like some kind of anthropomorphic fox -- a lot like his daemon, actually. "Moooorph. What. Did. You. Do."
"Hey, I used what I had to work with. And that was me!" Morph's voice calls from Raven's shoulder. She's become a tiny little fox, resting there like a pet. "If you've got a better idea..."
Raven sighs, raising a fuzzy hand over his eyes. "Right, we'd better continue the search. We should eat first, though, right, Alianna? I have no idea where to look next..."
With that, the man starts filling up a plate. They've got some time to look over the map and figure out where to look next. Maybe they can make a tour of this place while they're at it? It seems huge...

((OOC: I DID die for a while, but zombie me is back and ready to post! Sorry about the wait!))
Cafeteria
Alianna rubs at her eyes, trying to get the spots to go away. She probably shouldn't have been staring quite so hard at the spinning light. Still, she's not TOO surprised; she's come to expect the unexpected from these two.
"Eating is a great idea. I'm pretty hungry," she replied, and joined Morph at the buffet. "I think we might have a long search if we're going to have to look through the whole place."

(( Zombie? Oh dear. Well, we'll see if we can get you back to normal, eh? I'll try to be on top of it now; I kinda lost track of this thread. Sorry! ))
Cafeteria
"Yes, and I wish I knew where to start looking," Raven notes with a shrug. Morph, meanwhile, looks like she's gone to sleep on his shoulder, except when she starts nibbling on a couple of grapes she'd plucked from Raven's plate. She can be really sneaky sometimes.
"Should we just make a run through? I can pull up a map, and try to get some info on the place. Maybe we can both get used to this place." He manages a weak smile, but it feels forced. It's odd to him to eat with these fuzzy arms... and where's the food going once he eats it? Maybe it's best not to ask.
(( I figure we should gloss over most of the tour, and stop when we reach someplace where part of Raven is. It'd take forever and a day otherwise. ))

Cafeteria
Alianna thoughtfully scoops out some potato salad and puts it on her plate next to a few strips of chicken.
"We could look at the map while we eat, I suppose. If we find the biggest rooms, I think those would have the highest probability of having one of your pieces. It would also be easier to search those than the individual rooms," she said. She was getting more and more comfortable talking about Raven's "pieces."
Taking her plate of food, she sat at one of the long table's benches and took her fork out of its plastic wrapping, preparing to eat.
((We can skim through as fast as you'd like. I agree that going through room by room will be looooong :P))

"Yes, and from what I'm getting about the Center's wards, I shouldn't be in any of those rooms anyway. I'm not staying in any, so they shouldn't be there. That rules out the most of the dorm buildings." Raven settles down near Alianna's seat, and makes short work of his lunch.
"Did you already take a room? I can't remember... if you have, we should end there. I was thinking we should start by going out those doors to the pool," he says, pointing his fork-and-attached-tiny-potato back at the glass doors behind him, "then snake around the buildings clockwise and work our way up."
(( Starting... well, whenever I see a response next! ))

"Wow, I didn't even notice the wards around the rooms. I was wondering about security around this place. It's kind of a habit for me, I suppose." Alianna cuts off a piece of her breaded chicken and chews it thoughtfully.
"I did take a room. 3D if I recall correctly, and it's on the north side of the building overlooking the pool, so that sounds like a good as place as any to start," she finished the rest of her food and stood up. "I'm ready when you are."

Atrium
A ragged looking figure in a tattered dark trenchcoat strides through the main doors, a slight limp in his step. The clack of his shoes on the hard floor is dampened by clouds of dust falling off with each step.
A white mask conceals his entire face, eyes included, giving no clear indication of his mood.
As he finally reaches the Atrium after carefully considering where he could get the most attention the quickest, he announces his presence with a scraping and hollow voice: "The best room. The best of the best."
He slowly looks around, slightly hunched over with both his hands in his pockets.
"Right now, within this very second.", he spits out. "Second is over. Too late. What ever could I say about the service here?"

The Sky
The skies are clear and the air clean and brisk. From the distance I can see the welcome center. The winds aloft are gentle and steady.
The wind beneath my wings holds me firmly aloft, wingbeats following one after another as I sail across the sky.
'There.... there I can see my destination'.
I hear the sounds of many folks in the distance and wafting aloft are the familiar aromas that places all have.
Soon enough the Welcome Center is below. My destination is the roof and a certain fern that grows thereon within the confines of the Fae Garden.
Leaning to the left, I begin to wheel in the sky, slowly losing altitude.
The Roof
After a while, I settle like a downy feather, into the top of the tree fern on the roof of the Welcome Center and the polychromatic nest which resides there, composed of my own feathers.
It has been a long flight. Nestling in I curl up and tuck my head under a floofy wing.
