Mount of the Singing Winds(Sesa's home)

((OOC: Please be aware that this is the only place I will be posting until I am sure my inspiration is back.))A soft and gentle breeze blows on a sunny afternoon. Upon this breeze floats a mysterious melody, one which calls to any who will listen to it. The siren whose song pulls so relentlessly at the traveler, is none other than the aptly named Mount of the Singing Winds. It's wind and rain sculptured outcrops and fissures, create a symphony of sounds as the chill breezes blow across them. The visitor's ear will also hear the pure bell like tones of sparkling crystals, dangling from silken threads and spinning and twirling gently under the invisible fingers of the wind. Their crystal harmonies singing in counterpoint to the humming melodies of the mountain itself. A small, rarely used path twists and winds its way through the forest, ending at a small but beautiful sylvan glade. Within this clearing, on its far side, appears to be a cave.......yes, almost like any other but also......not. For within are floors of exotic tile and the entrance is flanked by sparkling melodious wind chimes of water clear crystal. A small distance within, magnificent Oaken Doors, perhaps ten feet wide, and twice that tall, show, this is someone's home. Folks who enter this cave and stand before these wooden doors, may be surprised. For behind them, from a subtly concealed recess, quietly arises, upon a graceful and sinuous neck, the head of a small dragon, who graciously welcomes visitors, to the abode of Sesahcrup Llano.

Through a minute tear in the damp soil, within the sylvan glad, a crystalline spring of unnaturally luminous waters start to flow. A slow gurgle at first, then soon a constant stream of strangely colored waters persues.As the water puddles, the lucid form of a mint green merman starts to materialize from beneath it. ::stands upright:: '... ...Such a beautiful sound... ... ...The winds sing prettily here...' As the merman steps out of what has now become a pond of glass, the waters start to fade, then dissapear altogether, only leaving behind the moist grass as evidance of its existance. ::notices the cave:: "... ...A beautiful place to call home..." ::smiles warmly:: "...I wonder who resides in such a dwelling...?" The 10 orbs that circle the merman eerily glow the colors of the rainbow as he walks ever closer towards the cave to inspect it further. "... ...Perhaps the proprietor of this quaint home is available...?" ::gently knocks on the wooden door::

Another Avatar arrives.A swirling cloud of purple mist forms outside the cave, and solidifies into the form of a Human woman, with a tail like a red dragon, and brown feathery wings. She stands a good ten feet tall, looking regal as a Goddess. So, this is his home. she thinks. Her face seems concerned, and her mood uncertain. # Sesa dear? Are you home? # Ceera sends telepathicly.

((OOC: I thought it was worth mentioning that my postings will not be all that often, although I hope to post at least once every other day.))Ceera's mind send seems to be reflected from something within the mountain, but she does get the sense that there are many minds in this place. Before she has a chance to ponder this, the mighty Oaken doors swing open, stout hinges creaking. A large serpentine Drake slithers out of the doorway, then around Ceera and also Circeil, turning his great head, he speaks to someone inside. "Baltsaros, you have guests at the door." With that said, the Drake exits the cave and takes flight. Shortly, an old hunched over figure shuffles up to greet Ceera and Circeil. "Hello, hello. Come, come, please do come in, guests are always welcome here." Although his ragged voice holds much cheer, his eyes are dull and clouded. Sniffing, he draws in both of your scents, then turns to gaze at Ceera, a third eye, obviously of Draconian origin, opens on his forehead as he looks her over. "It's you!" he exclaims in joy, "You are expected. Come we will wait for the caretaker in the library" Upon entering, Ceera and Circeil get a magnificent view of the cavernous main chamber. It is filled with immense marble pillars which support the ceiling. And is lit by great crystalline chandeliers, the light from which, emanates from some internal source. Dragons of every color and size are seen making their way about the room, some sparing a brief but not unfriendly glance at the visitors, but most just carrying on with their own business. Baltsaros motions for Ceera and Circeil to follow him straight across the chamber, towards another pair of impressive Oaken doors. Leaving the great hall, the party passes through a variety of ancillary rooms and hallways, turning right here and left there. In short order, they step into another large room. A library. From floor to ceiling their eyes behold, a king's ransom of books. And in a distant corner, near a crackling fireplace, is a recognizable face. It is Sesa, and he is busy, reading something out load. "And they all lived happily ever after. That's the end of the story, Lexi."

*Fire touches down outside, in her anthro wolf. She is hidden in the shadows, mostly hard to be seen.*Well, I wonder who lives here. Hey did I just see Ceera go in there? *She looks around outside, probly cathing the attention of something, not to friendly knowing her luck.*

Not many humanoids knew what it was like to be a dragon, nor did many know what it was like to be one, then lose that form, and regain it a number of years later. Magnus was probably one in ten million humans who had the pleasure, or rather pain of suffering from dragon form loss, and having to rehabilitate himself afterwards. His first attempt had been much eariler, and he had landed his first flight on the back of an eighteen wheel transport, and he had crushed a number of tonnes of fresh fruit. Luckily, his second flight came soon afterwards when the driver came out throwing a snapped off wheel at him, and screaming a litany of curses at him.But now, he was on his third flight and everything was going fine, aside from how every updraft threw him into a panic. Which is quite what happened when he went above a lake some distance from Sesahcrup's home. A gust of warm air came up from beneath him, he lost his concentration, and he started to flutter about like an ill guided parrot. "Damnit!! Not another crash!" Magnus yells, as he falls earthward, beating his wings at a frantic pace, creating a blast of air below him like a helicopter landing. His aim was off too, he landed directly upon a large tree, and his weight immediately crushed it, removing the shadow Fire Hunter was hiding in, and also causing an enormous crash. "Whew.. Least I didn't land on anything too valuable this time.." Magnus chuckled, then glanced behind himself and immediately notices Fire Hunter. He blinks at her, then at the tree beneath him. "Uh, sorry... I hope I didn't.. Disturb you.." Magnus laughs nervously then realizes he isn't helping his situation, "Um.. Good doggie.. No biting... Alright?"

*Serenity walks down the path with wonder, fascinated with the scenery and sounds, she spots Fire and immediately changes into her anthro white cat. She curls her tail and keeps flexing her claws, something she does when she is alert or is scared half to death*"Fire! Ceera nods to the drake, offering a friendly greeting in the speech of the Dragons. Then she turns to the next figure to emerge. "You would be Baltsaros? Well met. It seems you know me, though I do not know you. I take it Sesa has spoken of me to you. Yes, I am Ceera Darkwynde, and I would see Sesahcrup Llano, if he is home." Ceera smiles as they walk through the halls, pleased at seeing so many dragons. He is well attended, I see. This is good. I wonder if I should take my full draconic form? Well, time enough for that. I want to see Sesa before I decide. quote:

When she enters the library, her eyes light up as she spots Sesa. Literally. Her eyes glow with an intense green light, and she teleports across the room, reappearing next to Sesa. * Glomp! * she hugs him warmly. "Good to see you again, dearest. Who is Lexi?"

Magnus' jade scaled brow began to bead with sweat as Fire threatened him."Um.. No need to get violent Hunter.." He answers, looking down at the considerably small anthro wolf and cat from his height of eighteen feet up, "I thought I might have crushed you or something like that.." He bends down slightly and blinks at Serenity. "Oh great more.. Did I just crush a tree full of anthro animals?" He grumbles, "I'm gonna hear about this for the next week.." He gets up, turns around on all fours, and faces the anthro pair, his full size now apparent as he inspects the crushed tree, picking it up in his talons and sorting through the branches and the trunk. "Oh good.. Nobody got crushed.. I was worried for a second.." He smirked, which was quite the scary thing to behold, since a Jade Dragon had teeth that could mince a tank.

"...There is nothing in the seas for me now, I'm affraid..." ::pauses for a moment:: "...Aww, but the subtle waters of the earth bring me here, wherever this may be... ...Better said, curiosity... mainly..." Circeil watchs as the drake flies out the door before turning and nodding to the figure that now greets them. Examining the room, it is obvious that the dwelling is well kept, and the owner rather intresting indeed. Following the elderly being, Circeil can feel the warmth of the fireplace long before they reach it. As the Ascarte comes into view, Circeil smiles. Just then, Ceera was atop of him, hugging him as if she hadn't seen him in ages. The merman just watches them with a warm smile.

A certain healing spring, and me faceplanting in the middle after jumping out of a jet? And you were the one with the annoying boyfriend who chased you up a tree?"Magnus obviously didn't recall he was still in Dragon form, and Fire wasn't aquainted with that shape. "And if you're wondering who's living here. I think we should ask.." He adds as he moves over to the door, and uses his front right arm to knock.

"Well it would appear that the caretaker is already here." Baltsaros watched Ceera teleport into the library and just shook his head. "So much for my welcome speech, please sir, join the caretaker and the two ladies over by the fire" With a quick wave of his frail hand, Baltsaros motions Circeil to a couch not far from where Sesa sits. Once sure Sesa can handle things in the library, he quickly backs out, closing the doors once again. The second the doors are closed, it hits Ceera like a ton of bricks, all her telepathic senses seem to be nulled by this room. But this fact does not seem to bother Sesa in the least."Ceera?!" Sesa gasps in surprise. Although he is obviously happy to see her, his attention seems to be directed at what had been in his lap, besides a thick book. A small squeak comes from the other side of Sesa. There, cowering behind him, using Sesa's gi to obscure herself from sight, is a small girl. "Lexi please do not be scared, I'd like you to meet Ceera, Ceera this is Lexi." The little girl slowly crawled out from behind Sesa. Looking to be no more then seven or eight years of age, her little blue wings fluttered in nervousness. Sesa raises a paw and fuzzles her hair, Lexi purrs softly, looking up at Ceera with her piercing crimson eyes partially covered by long white hair. Back at the entrance, Baltsaros shows up as the doors creek open seemingly of their own accord. "Well, well, it'd seem this is quite the busy day. The caretaker is already entertaining guests in the library, so I shall take you there, this way please." Without waiting for an answer, the old dragon turns, heading for the library, the robes draped over him hiding most of his form from view.

Ceera notices the telepathic damping, but isn't overly concerned. A nice feature for a study and research area, I suppose. No telepathic distractions. Pretty good spell, too, to block me out completely like that.Ceera kneels at the side of Sesa's chair, and smiles at the winged child. She makes a point of ensuring that her own eyes are not glowing, though they remain an unusually bright shade of green. "Hello Lexi. A pleasure to meet you, I am sure. I do apologize if my sudden appearance startled you. Sesa is my very special friend, and I just wanted to come and hug him as soon as I saw him." She continues to smile, but gives a rather inquisitive look to Sesa. The look rather implies the question 'who is she?'. Then she looks around, and back at Sesa. "What a wonderful library! I shall have to visit more often, to peruse this fine collection. What story were you reading to her, dear?"

"Oh you know.. People set up their homes, and all kinds of people pop up.." Magnus responds as Kei appears, "I've only been here a month or two, and I've already got tonnes of junkmail. They ALWAYS find you where you live, even if you live in the middle of nowhere like that Gorgon fellow.. I'm pretty sure he has his mailbox trapped or something, but it's always full of flyers for cheap fried chicken, and subscriptions to National Geographic.."Magnus smirks, showing his row of razor sharp teeth, and as the elderly dragon opens the door he turns to ask a question, but is simply ignored, and told to come in. Shrugging slightly, he proceeds to follow, entering the library, and sitting aside slightly, until he could make sense of the situation, though standing out like a redwood in the middle of low shrubbery.
