The Wedding of Abyssi and Jade (Chat Log)

411-Krinele Fullin: NCDTV Is proud to present: The Wedding of Abyssi and Jade A scheduled chat is now in session

G Em: Welcome to Jade and Abyssi's wedding ceremony! The service and reception held at a place called The Grove on the outskirts of AnyCity. The wedding itself takes place in a forest meadow, in a clearing of trees. There is a nice little cobblestone road leading to the reception hall, which is in walking distance. The hall is a large white ornate building, complete with marble steps leading up to a large columned atrium area. The ceremony starts in the late afternoon, with the reception in the early evening.

G Em: As guests walk over to the grove, they will see a red carpet with folding chairs on both sides for them to sit down in. The carpet leads up to an arched altar a couple steps off the ground, and then in two tiers. The arch towers at least 12 feet high, since it's taller than Abyssi. To both sides of the arch are trellises covered in a mixture of ivy and white Morning glories with just a hint of blue at the edges. There is a similar set of trellises behind the roas of chairs. The rest of the dozens of flowers set up in arrangements in front of the trellises are white calla lilies, trumpet lilies and oriental lilies. There are a few groups of red roses speckled in as well.

G Em: Behind the altar itself is a huge white piece of parchment, stretching from the top of the arch to the altar floor. On the parchment is the kanji for love in red ink, and then outlined in black ink. Slash stands under the arch up on top tier of the altar. Abyssi stands off to the right slightly, on the red carpeting set before the altar. Sydney stands to the right of Abyssi. Guests will notice little cups of rice next to their seats for throwing at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Sydney: Sydney wore a crisp, white, male's kimono, which was layered. It was nothing extravagant, but was very classic looking to fit along with the rest of the wedding. One might think a tall, Caucasian man might look a little strange in Japanese attire, but it actually suited him rather well. He had bought himself a hakama when he’d visited Japan with his buddy back home. At any rate, all Syd could think was that it was a hell of a lot better than a stuffy ol' tuxedo. <=D

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash stands, dressed in his formal black vestments (and sans his usual hat), looking almost similiar to that of a modern priest. He is unusually clean and well shaved, trying to look as neat as possible. He gives a warm, friendly smile and straigtens himself out a bit, getting ready to begin. He looks a tad nervous, having not done a wedding in quite a while...

Umbra: Abyssi's right-hand man, the occassionally glimpsed Umbra was also at the wedding! He had come alone, and wore a gigantic black tuxedo. He smiles and nods to people modestly. Umbra was so tall and so broad, his seat was off to one side so that he wasn't blocking the view of anyone behind him.

Ebon: Ebon, in his usual jinbu shape, was there too, dressed in a black tuxedo. The tux suited him particularly well--out of all the jinbu there he was probably the most smartly dressed. He sat with one leg crossed over the other and his hands folded. Ebon would also act as disk jockey for the reception.

Azul: [Human?]: Standing off to the side of the whole gathering is a slight, unassuming person, normal appearing except their color. Blue. Having only recently met Abyssi, yesterday in fact, Azul feels very much ill at ease. It was delighted to be invited. But still, it doesn't know anyone here.

Poni: Poni the equine girl was seated somewhere near the back, blushing. She had opted to wear pink jewelry and a pale pink long dress. She didn't personally know either the bride or groom, but she was too curious to pass this up!

401-Dark: Dark was seated with Zene. He was dressed in the midnight blue kimono with silver stars that Zene had given him as a present, and dark grey hakama. Wearing clothes had the curious effect of making Dark look far more civilized than was normal for him. He looked alert, thoughtful and distinguished. Although Abyssi was his rival and nemesis, they would both honor the other on this special evening. Dark wished the best for Jade too, his fellow Vassal and friend.

175-Roland Scythe: *He was, well, there. Dressed in his finest leathers. For what purpose....we'll see.*

Sydney: Sydney didn't seem the least be nervous. Hey, it wasn't his wedding anyway. He just smiled a small smile... Appearing rather calm and serene for the moment. He stands there, like a good boy. Which was pretty much all he'd do for most of the ceremony. And that was perfectly alright with him!

Zene: *Zene is seated with her legs crossed next to Dark. She's in an elegant blue dress that clings to her figure nicely, and reachs to just above her knees. Her hair is unbraided, in its wavey wildness down her back. She's in a pair of rather tall spiked blue heels.*

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: Standing before the altar was shadow-beast Abyssi. With his over nine foot height, and his broadness enhanced by wide sleeves, he was a towering, almost ominously dark shape of jet-black at this cheerful, flowery wedding. He wore a traditional, formal-looking marriage kimono and haori: All black, with pinstriped hakama. His cool glacial-blue eyes were narrowed, his expression solemn and serious. Only the flickering reflections of light in his eyes revealed his true emotions under the surface...

Crystal Amandil: *Crystal seats herself. She's dressed in a black and white kimono that Portia lent her. Apparently Abyssi had given it to her a while back. In her arms she's got a little bundle. It's Genya! He seems to be pretty calm right now.*

258-Dracaena: While Drac has chosen to languish in despair at the local skating rink, this is not to say that she's unaware of the wedding currently going on. In fact...

Charon Zeru: *Next to Crystal sits a little blonde head, in a little grey suit and tie. Charon waves furiously to Abyssi. He's pretty excited! He even had his shoes shined for the event.*

258-Dracaena: ...Abyssi may find a beautifully crafted kusari-gama, made of seemingly indestructible ice, amidst his stack of wedding gifts later on.

Pyro of Love Children: *Meanwhile hanging around with the rest of the wedding party was an uncomfortable imp. Having never been in a wedding before, he agreed for the experience mostly. Oh, and the cake, but now he was wondering if any cake could be worth this. The tuxedo he'd been rented wasn't working for him at all. Just where was he supposed to keep his gold ball?*

G Em: [[LINK] ]: And thus, the music started! Signalling everyone to take a seat and get ready...

Azul: [Human?]: As it stands there, Azul, for the first time in its life, begins to feel oddly underdressed. The simple loose longsleeved shirt and pants it's currently wearing look downright grungy compared to the finery everyone else has on. Its form shifts and wavers, but steadies as it struggles as hard as it ever has to keep hold of the shape it's currently in.

Tsuki: Little Tsuki came walking cheerfully down the aisle, leading the bridal party! She was dressed in a small white kimono, and carried a basket of white flower petals, which she was tossing out left and right onto the carpet as she passed each row of people sitting.

401-Dark: *Dark smiles, taking in the guests and the warmth of the atmosphere. This was a happy event indeed... He watches as the bridal party starts to make their way along.*

Pyro of Love Children: *Next came Pyro, who finally opts to just keep the ball underneath the pillow. He was careful, the rings weren't in any danger of falling off and he could still keep his hands on his own treasure. In those stiff polished shoes he's bound to squash a few petals on the way to his mark, but wasn't that what they were there for?*

Portia Tarquinius: *Dressed in a black kimono and wearing a brilliant red anthurium pinned in her hair to detract from its short length, bridesmaid Portia follows behind Tsuki and Pyro. A necklace with a black onyx pendant and matching dangly-earrings decorate her pale throat and nervously flicking ears. Portia's wide, elfin eyes and uncertain expression make her look more childlike than she prefers. I hope Genya doesn't start howling in the middle of the ceremony!*

Jade Transfuga: *Behind Portia follows Jade. She is in a stunning yet simple white strapless silk gown. It forms to her shape and then gently flows outward at the hip and down to the floor, with a short trail behind her. The cut shows off a bit of cleavage and some arm and shoulder musculature, but enough to make it seem awkward on her. Her skin has a healthy tan, which stands out nicely against the dress. Jade's long blonde curls fall about her shoulders and tumble down her back, and on her head is a silver tiara with a thin veil that falls to her mid-back.*

Jade Transfuga: *Jade's bouquet is a mixture of the white lilies and red roses, with a touch of lavender and baby's breath to give it some texture. She moves carefully down the aisle, smiling and trying not to look too nervous. When she’s moved all the way down, she takes Abyssi's arm and they both step up onto the first tier of the altar.*

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi sees his bride, for the first time... His eyes shine, and his mouth looks strained, but he keeps composure and accepts Jade's arm. They stand before the altar, and before Slash. Abyssi worried that the music of the wedding would be drowned out by the sound of his beating heart.*

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash clears his throat a bit as and looks about, ready for the music to hush and for him to speak. He takes a deep breath and a slow exhale, relaxing himself.

Jade Transfuga: *Jade squeezes Abyssi's arm a bit. He can probably feel her trembling.*

Portia Tarquinius: *Portia takes her place somewhere to the left of the altar, folding her hands together and wiggling as little as possible. She's not used to standing before a crowd, and even if everyone's thankfully looking at the altar, it's a nervous experience for her. Noticing Sydney opposite to her, she settles down a little and nods to him.*

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Vince began to speak in a warm yet powerful voice "We are gathered here to unite in marriage, which is held in honor among all people. As they pledge their constant and abiding love to each other, let us remember that anyone who enters into this sacred relationship must learn to share a mutual love and concern for one another. Love is one of the greatest of life's experiences. It brings meaning and happiness to our lives. To freely accept from and give to each other as lovers and friends in life's joys. The daily companionship, the pleasure of doing things together or in doing separate things, is a continuous and central part of what two people who love each other can share."

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: "The marriage into which the two of you are about to enter is one which you promise to fulfill, not for a limited time, but for the rest of your lives. The success of your marriage depends on the love and consideration that you foster and nourish in the years ahead. This marriage can only be created by loving purpose, be maintained by abiding will and be bonded together by your love for one and another."

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash smiles and looks from the bride to the groom. "The bride and groom have written their own vows, which they will now recite. Abyssi?"

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi had been listening to Slash's powerful, and moving voice... Now he turned to Jade, his eyes shining.* "Jade... I love you. You are my best friend. Today I give myself to you in marriage. I promise, to love and care for you, and I will try in every way, to be worthy of your hand. I will cherish and respect you, care and protect you, comfort and encourage you..."

Sydney: He gives Portia a small, dumb, smile and continues to stand! His eyes wander over to a big, fat, fuzzy, bumble bee that is enjoying one of the lillies on the decorative bouquets. He's paying attention to the wedding... Really!

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: "To this end, I call upon all present to witness that I, shadow-beast Abyssi, take you, Jade Transfuga, to be my wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, for as long as we both shall live."

Jade Transfuga: *Jade takes Abyssi's hands and looks up at him as he speaks. Her eyes well over with tears, and she tries not to sob too loudly...*

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash nods.. "Jade?"

Jade Transfuga: *Jade takes a few moments and a few deep breaths to get back her composure. Then she looks up at Abyssi and squeezes his hands a little.*

Jade Transfuga: "Abyssi... The words 'I love you' cannot even begin to express the feelings I have for you. You have been so much more to me than just a lover. You've been a comrade in arms, a colleague, a counselor, a teacher and a best friend. You've provided me with a shoulder when I need to cry, a joke when I need to laugh, a hug when I’m feeling down, a smile when I needed reassurance, and perhaps most important, a love the likes of which I’ve never felt before..."

Jade Transfuga: *This is as much as Jade can get out before she starts to cry again.* "Abyssi... you are my everything, and I will love you even through death. I can think of nothing that would make me happier than becoming your wife."

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash nods once more. "Now... Please present the rings."

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: Abyssi picked up the wedding ring meant for Jade--it was a gold band with a diamond set in a simple, but ornate, design of Celtic knotwork. It was reminiscent of a design that Jade might have seen in her homeland. The ring seemed microscopic in Abyssi's huge hand, as he gingerly took Jade's own... His blue eyes, watery and soft with emotions as he gazed into her face, were shining. Abyssi swallowed, and then slid the wedding ring onto Jade's finger...

Pyro of Love Children: *Hearing Vincent's cue he holds out the pillow with the two rings before Jade and Abyssi.*

Jade Transfuga: *Jade takes Abyssi’s ring from Pyro. The ring is quite large. It needs to fit around Abyssi's big jinbu finger after all! It is a simple platinum band with no markings on the outside. On the inside is a simple inscription: "To my everything... ~Jade"*

Pyro of Love Children: *At least he didn't have to go making any speeches about the rings and their symbolism!*

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash looks over to Abyssi. "Repeat after me: In token and in pledge, of our constant faith and abiding love, with this ring thee I wed."

Jade Transfuga: *Jade chuckles at Abyssi and whispers to him.* "Not yet..."

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi blushes a bit, but repeats after Slash:* "In token and in pledge, of our constant faith and abiding love... with this ring thee I wed." *And then he slides the ring onto Jade's hand!*

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash turns to Jade... "Now... Repeat after me -- In token and in pledge, of our constant faith and abiding love, with this ring thee I wed."

Jade Transfuga: "In token and in pledge, of our constant faith and abiding love, with this ring thee I wed." *Jade slides Abyssi's ring up onto his white finger...*

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: "May you keep this covenant which you have made. May you be a blessing and comfort to each other, sharers of each other's joys, consolers in each other's sorrows, helpers to each other in life. May you trust in each other, trust life, may you not only accept and give affection between yourselves, but also together have affection and consideration for others."

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash smiles again, as it's almost over and the best part was for the two was about to come... "By the powers vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife.... You may kiss the bride."

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi smiles, although it looked like he was almost ready to cry. He brings Jade close, and kisses her on the lips.*

Jade Transfuga: *Jade returns Abyssi's kiss, blushing deeply!*

G Em: [[LINK] ]: And the music starts up again, signaling that it was time for the wedding party to make their exits.

Sydney: Sydney walked out to the front of the aisle and held out his arm for Portia so that the two of them could merrily skip down red carpet! Okay... Maybe they'd just walk. And he does!

Portia Tarquinius: *Portia approves of walking. Yesss. She latches onto Sydney's arm and off they go!*

Tsuki: *Tsuki cheerfully follows Sydney and Portia, with Pyro.*

Jade Transfuga: *Jade takes Abyssi's arm and heads down the carpeted aisle with him! When the wedding party reaches the end of the aisle, there is a horse drawn carriage waiting for them! It's a rather large carriage so that everyone can fit (including Abyssi). Once everyone is in, the driver snaps his reigns and the horses clip-clop off. It’s time for the reception!*

Sydney: As Sydney neared the end of the red carpet he whipped around, releasing Portia as he suddenly pulled him camera out from, seemingly, thin air! Where was he hiding it?! Probably in the sleeves of his kimono... Somehow. As Abyssi and Jade rush happily down the aisle, Sydney focuses on them and snaps one photo after the other! This would be his wedding gift to them. Not only would he be the best man... He’d also be the wedding photographer!

Pyro of Love Children: *Pyro follows next to Tsuki. He heard something about heading out in pairs!*

G Em: As guests enter the reception hall, they will come into a large softly lit room. Large chandeliers hanging from the very tall ceiling of the reception area give off most of the light. For an alternative light source red box paper lanterns are hung around the outside of the room, with the kanji for love written on them. Also hung around the room are large parchments with kanji of on of the following words: love, sacrifice, friendship, family, life, or forever. There is a table set up for gifts. ((As a note: If you PM me with your gift, Jade and Abyssi will write you a personalized thank you note.))

G Em: Each table for the guests has 8 chairs. The tables have white tablecloths, and red napkins. In the center of each table is a shallow dish with water in it, with a white lotus floating in it and three candles. There are red rose petals around the centerpiece. There is no assigned seating, and there are plenty of chairs for everyone!

G Em: Tables are set up in a U-shape, with the head table where the wedding party sits at the top of the U. In the center of the U is a wooden dance floor. Ebon’s DJ table is off to the right of the head table. Right now in the middle of the dance floor is set up an appetizer table. There are also waiters and waitresses walking around with the appetizers: shrimp, egg rolls, stuffed mushrooms, crab ragoons and little pizza rolls (mostly for the kids). The bar is open and all the way to the left of the head table. Between the bar and the table is the cake.

Portia Tarquinius: "sydney what the hell are you-" *Portia starts to hiss until she realizes he's just taking pictures! She blushes, then scurries off alongside him to the carriage.*

Zene: *Zene heads over to the reception area on Dark's arm. They drop off their gift and find a place to sit.* "Ah... that was quite a nice ceremony, wouldn't you say, Dark?"

Azul: [Indigo Bunting [LINK]]: Azul...hangs near the back of the gathering, not feeling at all comfortable as it follows the others at a distance. Most of its concentration at the moment is going towards keeping its form steady, and as the others head towards the carriage, it can't manage it. Its form wavers and shrinks, steadying down into the shape of a tiny bird, a bird which ends up fluttering after the carriage rather than riding in it.

Sydney: Later at the reception hall!... Sydney sits at the head table, awkwardly leaning over the table every now and then to get a shot of Abyssi and Jade when the two of them are smiling or doing other cute 'just married' things. He turns to Portia and snaps a picture of the elf. "You look great, Portia." He pulls his camera down and smiles. "Sorry if I freaked you out when we got to the end of the red carpet. <=D"

Kakemaru: *Kakemaru was likely unrecognizable to those that knew him, dressed up as he was in a beige suit. Even the red coat looked formal. He had attended the ceremony and now he skirted the background, better than invisible.*

Charon Zeru: *Charon has decided he's not going to waste his rice by tossing it everywhere. He pockets his little cup and heads over to the reception area. And then immediately over to grab some appetizers.*

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash starts making his way around, looking for some form of liquor or another to drink.

401-Dark: "Yes, Zene... it was so beautiful..." *Dark wipes his eyes, and sits down with Zene. "I'm glad for Abyssi and Jade."

Crystal Amandil: *Crystal stays outside for a bit to quiet Genya. He wants his mommy! But she was currently occupied with wedding stuff. Once he seems alright, she heads inside to round up Charon.*

Pyro of Love Children: *Pyro forgoes all other course of cermony to gawk at the giant cake. That really was the most impressive cake he'd come across and that was saying a lot. Orias always had a really fancy cakes for his birthdays.*

Azul: [Indigo Bunting [LINK]]: The bird flutters around, at a total loss, looking for a place to perch. Eventually...it spots Dark, and recognizes him after a moment. Twittering, the bird flits in the jinbu's direction, trying to perch unassumingly on the back of his chair.

Ebon: *Ebon is there! He speaks into a mike.* "Here come the maid of honor and best man, Portia and Sydney! And now... please give a big round of applause to our happy newly weds, Jade and Abyssi!"

Jade Transfuga: *Jade heads into the reception area on Abyssi's arm. She waves a bit and takes her seat at the head table.* "Ah... Abyssi, will you get me a drink? I'm sweating in this dress..."

Portia Tarquinius: *Portia raises an arm and squints, not expecting to be shot at during a wedding reception!* "Aggh! Watch where you point that thing," *she cackles, tempted to give Syd a noogie. She sighs a little.* "Aww, I look like freak, just like the rest of my family. ...b-but thanks. do you know if i'd be allowed to have crystal and genya over here? i think i heard him fussing towards the end of things in there..."

Sydney: "Oh, sure." Sydney grins and wavers a hand. "Just have 'em pull up a chair and sit down! Are you gunna give your toast first or should I? We should do it soon. Or, y'know... now. o_o"

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: "Of course, Jade." *Abyssi kisses her, and positively beams! He had remained stolid throughout the ceremony, but now he looks distinctly happy. He smiles warmly, and goes to collect some sparkling champagne for Jade.*

Portia Tarquinius: *She sits down at her place and looks out across the room, waving shyly to Crystal, Charon and the little moppet with the groom's eyes.* "yeah, I'll call them over in a minute after this toast thing. ohhh, i hope i don't screw up. i'll go first," *she says to Sydney.*

Portia Tarquinius: *Portia clears her throat and gently taps the side of her glass, her hands slightly shakey. Even before she starts speaking there's a pink blush on her pale cheeks and eartips; she's obviously terrified of something. Probably stuttering.* "I'd l-like to say a few words, if I may, about the newlyweds. Okay- actually, it's kind of about me, too, but more about first impressions. I remember the first time I met Abyssi, over a year ago now. He said that elfs stink." *She grins.*

411-Krinele Fullin: (( About half an hour left. ))

Portia Tarquinius: "I wasn't too keen on Jade or her co-workers the first time I ran afoul of them. M-mostly because they'd taken me to be an unwilling guest in Hell. But I didn't hold it against them, and now look where we all are? So I guess what I'm saying is, you've got to be careful about the people you cross, because sometimes you get stuck with them as friends. Or worse!" *Smiling and fighting against the nervous heartburn roiling in her chest, Portia sits down again and gives a little sigh of relief. She's glad she managed to say all that without getting tongue-tied.*

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi returns to Jade with a glass and sits down for the toasts... He smiles broadly at Portia as she speaks!*

Jade Transfuga: *Jade chuckles a bit at Portia's speech and sips at her champagne. She smiles at Abyssi.*

Sydney: "Guess it's my turn..." Sydney stood up from his seat, a small smile on his face. He raised his glass, speaking in a rather uncharacteristically calm voice: "I've known both Abyssi and Jade for a rather short amount of time. Like most people, I've had my suspicions about Abyssi and just what kind of man he is." Syd glances slyly at the Jinbu with a smirk. Uh-Oh. Was Syd going to say something slanderous?! "Luckily... I was proven wrong. –Especially when seeing him with his sweet daughter and his new wife." He paused for a moment. "Jade has always been kind to me, and I think, with her sweet nature, she helps to bring out the best in Abyssi."

Sydney: Sydney's voice softened just a bit. "Abyssi and Jade— Yin and Yang. Day cannot exist without night. Light cannot exist without darkness. Complementary opposites that need each other’s support." The tall man raised his glass a bit higher. "And since I like to keep things short— rub-a-dub-dub, thanks for the grub. Yay booze." Well, so much for keeping it completely serious. He paused; looking confused for a moment and then closed his eyes, grinned from ear to ear. "Oh, yeah! I'd also like you to raise your glass and toast my friends. Abyssi, Jade... May the future hold your happiness, health, and love. Uh... Amen!"

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash will drink to that! He toasts with some whiskey. >_>

Umbra: *Umbra toasts to Sydney's speech! He's just kinda there, sitting on two chairs.*

Sydney: Sydney toasts with Portia! *clink!* Aaaand then he goes right back to snapping more pictures.

Jade Transfuga: *Jade chuckles, then drinks.* "Aww... Portia, Sydney, thank you. And thank you everyone for coming... This has been quite an event, and we're both very happy... But I'll spare you the speech since you're all hungry!"

Crystal Amandil: *Crystal clinks glasses with Charon. The only difference is that he's drinking soda instead of champagne.*

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi chuckles a bit, and wipes his own eyes. He's moved to be given such speeches.* "Yes... I sincerely thank you all!"

G Em: After toasts comes the buffet-style dinner, then the cutting of the cake... The cake is a 3 level monstrosity. It’s round, with white icing and red and black edging. There are red rose petals sprinkled around and on top of the lower levels. At the top there is a little toy arch and two specially made figures: one of a little Jade, and the other of a little Abyssi. They are both in their wedding attire, and seem to almost be to scale! Jade makes sure Pyro gets a big peice.

175-Roland Scythe: *Lavander eyes narrow slightly at all the merriment, and he turns to walk into the night. Not that anyone's likely to really care. Let them have their...fun.*

Azul: [Indigo Bunting [LINK]]: A bird as small as Azul can't exactly perform a toast. It chirrups as the glasses clink together around the room though. For the most part, it stays perched on the back of Dark's chair.

Portia Tarquinius: *Portia almost snorts her drink out of her nose at the keeping things short comment. She manages not to break her glass against Sydney's, then, after a moment of hesitation, nods her leave to Sydney and the newlyweds and makes her way over to Crystal and the kids. She'd feel bad uprooting them. After sitting down by Crystal, she sighs and rests her head against the other elf's shoulder.* "...whew. I officially hate p-public speaking. Ahhh... I feel better now that I got it right."

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi's proud of the work of that Rulie girl and her family! They made that wedding cake.*

Pyro of Love Children: *Woot! The imp is delighted with his offering of a large piece of cake. It was worth being dressed so stuffily in the end!*

Crystal Amandil: *Crystal chuckles and gives Portia a kiss, then hands off Genya to her.* "Aww, you did so well!"

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Fun is a pretty good thing to have. So is liquor. Slash finishes off his drink and relaxes. he watches the married couple with a smile. He was pretty pleased he could be a benefit to them.

Ebon: *After everyone had had dinner, and a piece of the huge wedding cake, it was time... For the Bouquet Toss! Ebon makes an announcement over the speaker system.* "Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the bouquet toss! All unmarried women, please make your way to the dance floor please!"

Portia Tarquinius: *She nods, snuggling the baby up against her chest and kissing Crystal.* "Y-you think so? Well, I managed to do it. Ahhh..."

Portia Tarquinius: *Stab of anxiety! Portia can't crowd for the bouquet and hold her bundle o' joy at the same time! She sighs and decides she'll have to sit out on the bouquet toss.*

Crystal Amandil: "I'll watch Genya, Portia. You go ahead!"

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash chuckles a bit... This was always fun to watch....

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi gives a loud laugh. He can't wait to see this part. Especially because they'd do the garter toss afterward!*

Zene: *Zene reluctantly gets up to join in on the bouquet-tossing action.*

Portia Tarquinius: "Oh! O- okay~" *Portia gently passes off the baby once more, then scurries over to the scene of the bouquet toss.*

401-Dark: *Dark watches in tremendous anxiety as Zene gets up!*

Poni: "Oh! All single women?" *A little confused, Poni, in her pink dress clip clops over to the group of women for the toss also.*

Portia Tarquinius: *Portia cracks her knuckles and remembers her school training in the sport of keep-away. Not that this is exactly the same, but close.*

Kakemaru: *The man in the red coat watched from the sidelines. Too bad Kei wasn't here.*

411-Krinele Fullin: (( Ten minutes. ))

Jade Transfuga: *Jade heads out and tosses the bouquet high over her shoulder... And Poni gets the bouquet! Lucky girl! Unless Portia fights her for it. Jade then takes a seat. It was time for the garter toss, but Abyssi had to remove it from her, first!*

Azul: [Indigo Bunting [LINK]]: Azul's going to be out of luck for both the bouquet and garter toss, if there's both. Something that doesn't have a gender can't participate.

Kakemaru: *Annnd... That was his cue to leave.*

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: "Hm-hm!" *Abyssi grins slyly... When Jade presents her leg, he sexily slides the garter off of it, and waits for all the single men to assemble!*

Sydney: "... D=>..." Sydney stands there, twitching. Dammit.

Portia Tarquinius: *Portia pouts a little, but she'd feel bad beating up Poni for the bouquet. Besides, it doesn't mean the other single women in the crowd /can't/ get married ever. She wonders if she'd be allowed to count as a single man, but just heads back to her girlfriend and the erstwhile Charon. Unless Charon's going for the garter scramble...*

Ebon: [[LINK] ]: "Our bouquest has been caught by the lovely satyr girl! All single gentlemen, please come to the dance floor!"

Kakemaru: *This gentleman was heading for the door.*

Pyro of Love Children: *Is single, and male, but too young to be catching garders!*

Charon Zeru: *Charon joins the single men! He has no idea what he's in for...*

Vincent 'Slash' Maynard: Slash yawns and makes his way up to the stage, though he didn't seem to intent to grab it.

Umbra: *Umbra stands among the group of single men.* "..."

Portia Tarquinius: *Portia laughs at Charon.* "Too bad Genya doesn't have the reflexes for this part..."

Azul: [Indigo Bunting [LINK]]: Chirruping softly, a small bright blue bird flutters up from the back of a chair, heading after Kakemaru. It doesn't really have a reaso to be here anymore.

401-Dark: *Dark stands there too, looking terribly nervous!*

Abyssi: [[LINK]]: *Abyssi throws the garter... It bounces off of Umbra's shoulder, and he catches it, seemingly by complete accident.*

Sydney: "... Whew..." Sydney goes back to sit down. >_>

411-Krinele Fullin: (( Two minutes. ))

Poni: "Ahh!" *Poni, still clutching the bridal bouquet, at first looks nervous... but then she laughs when she sees who, or rather what, has caught the garter. This was funny! Besides, she had furry legs that were normally visible. It wasn't that big a deal to reveal them.*

Umbra: *Abyssi mouths rapidly to Umbra what he needed to do... Umbra very awkwardly squatted down in front of Poni, and slid the garter up her leg. He has a blush when he's finished.*

Jade Transfuga: *Jade chuckles.* "Abyssi, you might have to explain to Umbra the semantics of what he's supposed to be doing here..."
