Gorgon came into existance after the minotaur known as Brahma appeared in the Napping Cat's Dream. Gorgon was formerly the evil nature of Brahma, given independence from the entity known as Oblivion.
He first encounter with the defenders of the Dream led to him becoming shapeshifted into the form of a tree, but it did not last long. Gorgon then created a huge maze that threatened to engulf the Dream. As a distraction, he created a copy of the maze in the form of a moon, during which time he captured the avatar known as Pandora. A rescue attempt for the chimera was successful, but Brahma was captured.
In an attempt to destroy the Dream by forcing the Napping Cat to awaken, Gorgon was finally defeated, and thought to have been killed.
Sadly, evil never dies, and this newly reborn Gorgon seems just as dangerous, but his methods are quite different. He has been known to be quite subtle in his plots, while at other times he is as subtle as a hurricane. However, he has plans within plans--those times he knows defeat seems to actually further his goals, such as when he was a host to Oblivion, and plotted his own demise.
Appearance: Gorgon's primary form has been shown to be a black minotaur with the physical characteristics as Brahma with slight variations.
Powers/Abilites: Gorgon, by unknown means, can force an individual to experience the most intense painful moment in their life, trapping the victim physically in a shell of darkness. While imprisoned, Gorgon can then touch said victim, and duplicate his or her powers, and sometimes physical features.
Because of this, Gorgon has the ability to increase in size and strength when taking damage--a trait shared by Brahama. He has also duplicated several avatar traits, including the spellcasting abilities of Icefox, the druidic abilities of Makai, the agility and speed of Rein Sharper, and the ability to control machines from Jason Argosy.
Ambition: "To turn the Napping Cat's Dream into a Nightmare--a Nightmare under my control."
