Species/Race (human, furry type, robot, alien, etc.):
Coloration (skin, scales, fur, feathers, hair, etc.):
Roughly 1/4 face (left eye area): White furred
Right: Deep Blue
Clothing / Armor:
He can almost always be seen in his newest and to him, best, set of clothing. A red shirt, over which is lain a black scaled leather vest, similar pants, thick well made boots, fingerless gloves attached only on the back of the wrist area to bracers, a headband of that same leather with a wolfs paw print emblazoned in the dead center, and a thin neck guard. All of that black leather gear was specially made for him out of black dragonskin, adamant cloth, and fine black silk lining. Though heavy, it is very efficient armor, allowing full freedom of movement. On colder days, he can also be seen wearing a common woodsman's jacket. **Note: Details of how he came to the materials available upon request**
Occupation / Class:
Student of martial arts and philosophy
Affiliations (family, friends, organizations):
Currently: Caldera, Eleuterius Penfield, Dietrich, Trine (Only slighty), Alizara, Neitu, and his Master/Teacher Kakemaru
Formerly: His college and family back where he came from.
Accessories (weapons, jewelry, tools, magic items, vehicles, etc.):
A backpack with a few notebooks and other such items in it, mostly related to schoolwork, a partially filled blank music book, a bamboo flute, and "The art of War" by Sun Tzu. He has recently purchased a small locked book/journal, with a compass embossed into the black leather. It's lock is brass, and the compass design is simple, with no actually named or noted directions, simply a 16 point star style.
If you include his home, it would consist of a four room log cabin. One is a store room for both belongings and food, a kitchen with small pantry and wood stove, a bedroom with a small inset fireplace, and the one main room with a bookshelf full of books on sorcery, magical studies, martial arts, and eastern philosophy, desk, and larger fireplace. The floor of the main room has a few animal skins over it for carpeting, and includes two small chairs, a small couch, and a small "coffee" table. The outside of the house, right of the main entry, has a small covered area with table, firepit, and the stacks of firewood he uses. Over all it seems to be very sturdy and well built, though lacking in any modern ammenities.
Markings (Tattoos, colorings, patterns):
A wolf like paw mark on his left shoulder, done in black, about 3 and 1/2 inches wide
Abilities/Skills & Power Level:
He is highly skilled in both philosophical debate and musical writing for the flute. His skills in his martial art, Kyokushinkai Karate, are somewhat good, though only because he has been training in the wilderness for so long. He will not use a weapon of any kind besides his own body, following along with the philosophy of his martial art. He is a somewhat skilled general writer as well, and familiar with basic computer use and cabin care and woodland life.
His wolfish eye has arisen with a strange ability or two, adding slightly to his skills. It can see strong "energy" or power fields, such as magic, psychic ability, or super abilities. If he concentrates, he can see a basic sort of aura, allowing him, thus far, to judge and rate the general health and mood of the one *note, only one* person or object he is concentrating on, as well as being able to accurate estimate the level and types of power a person posseses. No exact identification is yet possible.
It has come to light that he is also a emerging natural mage, with only a few minor spells of elemental manipulation as of yet mastered. There are styled as "Jutsu" or "Mudra" as some would call them.
GM Note: Details available upon request
His unwillingness to use weapons could be considered one. His rather narrow view on his own diet could be considered another (Very strict about what he puts into his body). He also has a particular weakness to magics of the shapeshifting type. His body absorbs the magic that does it almost hungrily, making it last longer, have further reaching effects than intended or usual for a given spell, and he cannot yet resist against such spells, as if he was always willing. He does not yet know about this weakness.
As an aside to his wolfish eye, he gets a severe eye ache and headache when looking into strong fields of negative energies, such as necromantic and inherently death or "un-doing" related energies, especially when they are in use. If a strong enough field were presented for long enough, the eye would go temporarily blind.
Special Effects (if any):
None, unless you count his flute as sounding particularly ghostly?
Description of Personality:
Having had a very wild set of teenage years, when finally in college his parents were shocked to find him becoming focused, more disciplined, and generally a lot nicer of a person. The various real world shocks he recieved made him really reconsider the direction in his life. That said, he tends to over focus a bit when his martial arts or flute playing are concerned, and still has a bit to go on learning patience for his philosophical debates.
He was usually never very spiritual either, until he started his martial arts training which put him in a much more receptive state of mind when it comes to such things.
Having begun his last year of schooling, he was well on his way to becoming one of the "great" modern philosophers of his world, and was in fact writing a book on the subject. His martial arts classes were progressing rather rapidly, as he took to the particular form as a natural. Unfortunately for him, the gods and powers that be in his world, a modern one comparible to normal everyday earth, decided to "have a laugh at the mortal's expense" as it were.
He was hand picked, literally, and simply thrown into the void of dimensions, ending up in The Napping Cat's Dream. He was only briefly made aware of the fact the gods were doing it for no other reason than a laugh. It came as a shock to him of course, and easily roused his anger. There was, of course, little to nothing he could do as he was thrown, landing into the Dream.
Gene, after an attack by two vampires, lost an eye. This eye was replaced by the spirit of a wolf whom he had earlier saved. The problem? It isn't human. His left eye, up to the eyebrow and down to mid cheek, looks like it was replaced by someone taking a white furred wolf's face and grafting it "as-is" into place. It is a deep amber color, and the skin is covered in a fine white fur.
A brief and character revealing answer to the question, "What is your ambition?"
Besides pissing off the gods? I would settle for mastering my arts.
