Taismaharet the Dreamwalker
Age: 16 Gender: Female Race: Synthdra (human)
Ht/Wt: 5'6"/120lbs Build: Athletic, lithe, graceful, and slender with a wiry strength...the body of a naturally talented dancer.
Hair: Long, silky, wavy, and flowing, falling nearly to her knees. It a color somewhere between dark copper and red autumn leaves. It is usually held back at the sides by two handmaid bone combs in the shape of slumbering great cats.
Eyes: A deep rich amber color with a great depth of emotion and a kind of sad innocence.
Looks: Tais is a very beautiful young girl, with sun bronzed skin, a bright friendly smile, and spots like those of a leopard. Her spots, which begin at her temples tamper down the sides of her body to her ankles, are the result and proof of the bond with Amasis.
Clothing: She wears a long silken golden colored loin cloth embroidered with some sort of mystical symbols along the trim and waist. She is also wears a halter top of the same color and material. Her outfit is accented by two large golden bangles around her upper arms, a gold belly chain with a green stone at the belly button, two dangly earrings with the same green stone, and a beaded anklet. She generally either chooses to go barefoot, or sometimes wears a pair of delicate leather sandals.
Occupation/Class: She is a Dreamwalker, or basically a type of shaman. She walks the dreams of sick or distressed people of her tribe so that they may recover and be brought back to the living realm. Amongst her duties as a Dreamwalker she must also guide the souls of the dead to their final resting place. As well as being the Mecca for the spiritual well being of her tribe.
Weapons, Magic Items, Etc: She carries, given to her by her mother, a magical Quarter staff of ironwood decorated with various mystical symbols, and a large opaque green stone set in the top.
Companions: At a very young she was soul bonded with a rare race of mystical felinoids called tikari. They resemble an extremely large and fluffier version of snow leopards. Their abilities and powers are as yet unknown. Although it is known that they are highly intelligent and communicate through empathic and telepathic powers. She was chosen by a particularly large male by the name of Amasis, who is extremely protective of Tais.
Abilities/Skills & Powers: As before mentioned she is a Dreamwalker. This gives her the capability of entering an individual's dreams, and change the dreamer's events and outcomes. She also has a highly developed spiritual power. By this I mean she can see, hear, interact, and speak with spirits of all types. As well as send them to their resting place, or realm if need be. She is also extremely adept at casting her realms various spells and charms. Lastly she has some underdeveloped telekinetic and telepathic abilities which are being improved by her contact with Amasis. She is also a beautiful and graceful dancer.
Special Effects: When dream walking she must be in contact with the dreamer. Her sending abilities and some of her spells require her to dance.
Personality: By nature she is a very nurturing and compassionate individual. She is always ready to help as much as she can, and gives far more than she gets.
Brief History: Tais was born under what her tribe considered a favorable omen cemented by the fact that the Tikari sent one their own precious kits to be bonded with her, unheard of since ancient times. She grew up happy and eventually, as everybody suspected she would, became the tribe's Dreamwalker. She was their pride and joy, not to mention the most powerful Dreamwalker the tribe has ever experienced. All went well until Tais met a young boy about her age who had literally swept her off her feet. He had saved her from some rather vicious tawgs, a cross between a wolf and a warthog. Anyway after a while they fell in love, and were betrothed in a grand ceremony. After which he was sent to under go his right of passage. He never returned. The tribe fearing that he had perished wanted Tais to perform his sending so that he would not haunt the living. Angered by the tribes lack of faith and believing that he was still alive. Tais refused, and instead set on her own to find him.
