Name: Kuro Arashi meaning "Dark Tempest"
Age: Appears to be around fifteen. Actual age is unknown.
Gender: Female
Species/Race (human, furry type, robot, alien, etc.): Shiara Mystic. Mystics are a race that has almost diminished from the face of every planet. They were hunted thousands of years ago for their 'essence'. The 'essence' that they carried was the source of their magic back then. Over the years, Mystic's 'essence' began to fade, and along with it their powers. The Mystics that lost their 'essence' no longer were called Mystics, and took on the name 'Lakzi' meaning 'Ungifted'. The Lakzi soon became jealous of the 'pure' Mystics and wars have been fought between the two groups over many years. Some Mystics moved to other planets while the wars went on, which is why Mystics can be found in many places(yet in very small numbers).
Mystics tend to be human-like with only a few animal or demon characteristics. Usually, Mystics have clans in which they group by common characteristics, which is how the Shiara Clan came about. The Shiara Clan focuses their abilities into spiritual magic, and resort to things other than violence. They lived in the outskirts of Jupiter, till they were warded off by Mystic Hunters. Some Mystics left the clan to move on to a more civilized life, and are never able to return to the clan again.
Height: Five feet and one inch tall.
Weight: Ninety six pounds.
Build: Very slender and rather short for her age. She would show off her muscle... If she had any, yet there is also very little fat. Some people accuse her of being bulemic because of how skinny she is, since they say she'd make a model look overweight.
Fur (hair, feather, scale, or skin) Color(s): Kuro has a very light tan skin pigment on all of the parts of her body that aren't covered by her clothes. The skin pigment gets lighter where Kuro doesn't get much sun.
Kuro's hair is an amazing blend of purple and black stripes. It appears to be dyed yet is 100% natural. Her smooth silky hair, flows down to her knees when she doesn't have it pulled up. She usually has her hair up in a bun, held together by oriental hair sticks, so it doesn't get in the way.
Eye Color(s): Her left eyes is sapphire blue and her right eye is periwinkle. She wears very dark purple eye-shadow as well. They both glow brightly at night time, and when a huge storm is coming, they turn black. Some people say she causes the storms though.
Clothing (armor): Kuro wears clothes that Mystics, who still live by their culture would hate to see. In fact, if a hardcore Mystic saw Kuro, she would probably be forced to change her clothes or be killed. She wears a long-sleeved black shirt, with a cross in the middle that is wrapped with red rose vines, and the thorns on the vines have blood trickling off them. She also wears a pair of pants that are black jeans until they get down to the knees, then they go into spider nets, and black and white striped stocking underneath. Her shoes are tall, black leather boots that reach about to her mid-calf.
She loves to wear necklaces, bracelets and all other sorts of jewelery as long as she likes it. She doesn't care what others think. Most often she has spiked bracelets on her wrist and a raven-winged cross as a necklace.
Occupation / Class: Tarot Summoner. Tarot Summoners are a different type of mage then most would think of. They use an amazing, mysterious gift to draw out spirits from cards. Most use tarot cards for the wide variety of spirits to draw out, yet some use other types of cards, even playing cards.
Drawing out a spirit can be done in many ways. Some people use a 'Card Key', such as a staff or an actual key to release the spirits. Others just simply call for their help, and the spirits answer.

"Friends? People just look at me and walk away and my family? Never knew them... They abondoned me. I was taken care of by people I didn't even know for god sakes."
Accessories (weapons, jewelry, tools, magic items, vehicles, etc.): Kuro has to had to have a weapon, in order to survive in close combat. She uses a black leather whip as a weapon, that is hidden in her hair as a headband. The handle is a spiraling snake, and the leather strip part has rivets that have their own little rivets on them to
inflict even more pain. She also carries around a deck of tarot cards in which she summons the spirits from. She got them from a store when she was seven years old and still carries them.(Normal tarot cards... Swords, Staves,etc.)

Abilities/Skills & Power Level: Kuro uses a set of tarot cards to summon spirits from them in order to attack or defend herself. Usually she draws them randomly if she is in need of attacking quickly, but will carefully select if she is in no need to rush. For instance, if she wanted to RANDOMLY draw a sun from her deck, the chances are slim yet it would be quick just to grab a card, but if she were to search through her deck, it would take longer, yet she would get the result she wanted.
She summons them by touching her fingers to the card, calling out a chant for each card, and then throwing it into the air. The spirits from the card are released from the tarot cards and she is able to tell them what to do.
She can only have one spirit out at a time, and they can only come out for two hours straight, once per day. Her favorite card is the fool, because it is the only one that understands her for it too, is a loner. She has yet to try using anything other than tarot cards to release spirits from... Perhaps normal playing cards would work.

Description of Personality: She doesn't like being in the middle of a large group, or the center of attention due to past experiences. She's very passive aggressive and tends to try to find her way out of trouble through fleeing if it arises. She will approach people to talk if she is in a good mood, or brave, but if she's reserved at the moment, you won't be able to get near her without some trouble.

A brief and character revealing answer to the question, "What is your ambition?": "My ambition? My ambition is to make friends, that is if they'll even look at me. What am I doing wrong? So what if I'm not human... Am I a beast?"
