| | Costume and Accessories | Clothing: He typically wears a dresscoat that comes to about mid thigh. It's charcoal gray with a silver trim around the edges. It has a double breasted front pinned with spike clasps instead of buttons. The sleeves are overly wide, and come to about mid palm if he doesn't roll them up. His pants are black and loose fitting trimmed to match the dresscoat. He wears a dull red cloak around his shoulders, the bottom of which is cut jaggedly. He has a belt loosely draped around his waist which has another couple of leather loops attached to it that he uses as a sheath. His boots are a grayish leather, with steel toes and small, retractable, arrowhead-like protrusions that stick out from the soles. By default he keeps those withdrawn.
| | Jewelry: He wears a gold pendant with a blue gem set in it that looks as if it ought to possess some magic powers (see picture). If it does they have yet to be revealed. He also has some regular old accessories, such as a pair of silver stud earrings and a black and silver spiked collar. He wears a gold band around his left thigh just because he likes the effect. | | Weapons: Currently traveling with only a black, two pronged, serrated sword dubbed "Angel Fragger." (see picture) On a recent trip back to Hell he had it modified so that it can accept magic charges. By default it has no magical attribute, but when a spell is cast upon it, it will deal damage of that element in addition to standard physical damage. The charge diminishes after each use. It is only good for about ten strikes at a time. The stored energy can also be released as an elemental shock wave, but this will clear all charges immediately. The damage will be greater depending on the number of charges that go into this wave. | | Items: He owns a copy of The Compendium of Mystical Artifacts, which he uses in his search for valuable items. The book itself is a mixture of myth and fact, giving the properties, supposed locations and even an artist's rendition of countless artifacts. | | Also, when he goes traveling from the castle he brings with him a small pouch of healing items. The assortment includes three chocolate bars, capable of healing moderate damage and simple breaks; two mana tonics which can refill about 50 points of mana; and two anti tablets, which can heal problems like poisoning or magically induced paralyzation. | | (Chat Only) To assure his safety in the chaotic place known as the Chat he purchased a Peace Treaty Ring. It is a simple band engraved with an oath of peace between gods and mortals. It protects him from the fatal or crippling attacks of any avatar that outpowers him, so long as he does not willingly engage them in physical combat. Should he break this trust, he will become vulnerable to such attacks for two hours from the last blow he struck. This effect does not apply to low damaging attacks, like slaps, punts or pies to the face. Verbal assault does not invalidate this power. (The PG will make the ruling.) | | Castle: Devil's Castle has been home to the Rofocale family for the many generations that they have ruled over Hell. Orias arranged for it to be moved to the Dream by Dr. Kaylo Epsilon, though the location might be uncomfortably close to Dominor Malum's Tower. Despite its intimidating appearance it's actually quite comfortable and stocked with servants at his disposal. It is also Orias's base of operations and he meets with applicants for new vassals there. |
| | Abilities and Attributes | | Occupation / Class: Demon Prince of one of the innumerable Hell dimensions (specifically Hell #246) | Abilities/Skills & Power Level:| Weapon Skills | He's adequately skilled with his sword, and can passably handle spears and bows too if he comes across them and the need arises. (On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is beginner and 10 is grand mastery, he would be about a 3.5 with the sword, and a 1.5 with the spears and bow.) His sword can now take elemental charges as detailed above under weapon.
| | Magic Skills | He has a grasp of basic offensive magic, allowing him to do some elemental damage as well as competence with a few basic healing spells. He is capable of firing multiple fireballs etc. at a time, but it quickly drains his mana. (See detailed list below.) | | Flight | Though his flight is magically aided, he must flap his wings to maintain it and can't simply levitate. While in flight mode his wings enlarge to a more proportionate size. However, Orias does not like flying and will avoid it unless it's a life or death situation. | | Speechcraft | Whether he's trying to win someone over or just piss them off, his words are surprisingly effective. There is no magic involved, demons just work hard to hone their charisma, and Orias has always had a knack for it.

| Magic Guide: | Name | Effects Description | | Fire | Can manifest a fireball about the size of a soft ball. He can control its effects, such as if it can spread fire, to some extent. | | Ice | Can manifest a 5" long dart of ice. It is capable of some penetration of unprotected flesh, though it is rather brittle. | | Wind | Can either manifest a wind blade capable of doing mild slicing damage, or creating a gust that does no physical damage but it capable of pushing over an average sized person. | | Void | A softball sized orb of black energy that does shadow/void/dark based damage. It's the opposite of Holy type elements. There is a slight chance (about 5%) that it could stop the heart of its target. | | Heal | A basic restorative spell capable of healing superficial cuts, bruises and minor sprains. | | Anti | A basic level restorative spell that can cure most poisons. |
| | Weaknesses: He is weak versus all things holy (or light elemental), such as holy water or holy artifacts. Simple shapes, like crosses, won't bother him unless they've been enchanted by the blessings of a holy force of recognized power. Even so the effect it has on him varies depending upon the holiness of the user. This can be anywhere from an uncomfortable stinging sensation, like antiseptic in a cut, to crippling, excruciating pain. Prolonged exposure to a potent holy force would kill him. He is also afraid of heights due to an accident that occurred while he was trying to learn how to fly. | | Special Effects (if any): Those sensitive to auras will be able to recognize his as that of a demon from a good distance. This could be particularly troubling as people interested in demonic auras tend to be demon hunters. His cloak is also enchanted in such a way that it allows his wings and tail to pass through as if it were not solid, much like the clipping in 3-d games (there are actual holes for them too, they are what actually shift their places for this affect). This allows it to never to be in the way of these demonic appendages no matter how much he shifts around. |
| | Personal Information | Affiliations (family, friends, organizations): His castle is filled with servants, but they do not travel out with him. The only exception is Lamika Millenius, who has taken his protection on as one of her duties. His parents are the Devil Valefor Rofocale, King of Hell, and Queen Azlyn, hence his title. They were killed during the first angelic offense, leaving Orias an orphan with a great deal of responsibily. He has been gathering vassals among the denizens of the Dream since his arrival, and has Candide, Ceratrol DeVries, Sharlo Mercuun, Vassagon, Dark, and Sakura Akukami in his service at the moment. (Yori Yamamoto, Andie Pandie, The Celaka Six, Minakata Lowell, Kiyiya Starfyre, Satieva Nesmith, Lyn, Jade Transfuga, Laine Ademar, and Hex and former vassals.) Those wanting to apply for vassalship should meet with him at the Devil's Castle or in the Chat, which he frequents. He also maintains a friendly relationship with Dr. Kaylo Epsilon, who has protected him on many occassions and who he now greatly admires. In the summer of 2004 Orias took the three members of Angel Squad #37prisoner. They are currently forced to do whatever odd job he requests to make up for the expense of feeding them.
| As of June 2004 Candide officially became Orias's boyfriend. Even though he may be young, he takes their relationship surprisingly serious and wants it to flourish. They were 2005's Cutest Yaoi Couple!
| Enemies: If you're going to be meeting a lot of people, there's bound to be a few that you just don't like. The worst of this lot would have to be Sal Ashenweis, whom he fought with over Candide. Sal blames Orias for the loss of his powers and has sworn revenge. On the less personal side of things Cara'wyn seeks to destroy Orias not because of who he is, but what. She's a paladin and too much of a zealot to suffer a demon to live. It should go without saying that the angels currently waging war in his Hell are his most terrible foes.
| | Pets: A nekomata familiar; he looks something like a bengal cat with devil wings. Instead of the regular tawny base coat it is more of a fiery yellow-orange with black rosettes. His tail forks 2/3rds of the way up its length. On the top of his head are two wisps of extra long fur that give him the look of having antenna. He wears an oversized spiked, black collar with a silver tag on it that gives its name as "Rahaar". see picture | | This demon cat is normally no larger than a regular house cat, but he can take a tiger sized form or serval sized one capable of flight. Though he can not speak he possesses an awareness beyond that of a normal cat. He can breathe fire and has a venomous bite. | Description of Personality: With his devilish charm and outgoing nature, Orias can quickly win over the people he meets if he so chooses. However, he has a bratty streak and will tease those he finds to be obnoxious or distasteful. Recognizing his lack of physical power, he prefers to fight his battles verbally. His natural charisma and way with words has gotten him out of many bad situations. He usually avoids trouble with those who greatly out-power him, but will rush to the aid of any of his vassals, no matter what the danger. While he usually tries to play fair, he is willing to do what it takes to succeed in his mission, even if it's underhanded.
| Like most members of royalty, he had a privileged upbringing and expects to get what he wants. However, he is by no means stingy or greedy, and enjoys giving presents to his friends. He deeply values his friendships, and does his best to maintain and strengthen them. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, he will keep his promises. Loyalty is a highly valued trait to him, not just in others, but in himself as well. Orias has also become rather keen on love, though this has brought to the surface a jealous streak that he still struggles with.
| Though he's working on cooling the rage, he is still hostile and suspicious of angels and all things associated with them. Despite the danger involved, he never lets an angel pass by him without being heckled and prodded to find any possible threat. This is mainly a fear response, so if they mean him no harm he'll calm down. A similar reaction occurs whenever he crosses path with a demon hunter. He is all right with half or fallen angels, since they were treated as demons in his home realm by the pure angels. He also has a general aversion to all things "Holy."
| | Brief History: Orias's home Hell is in the middle of a vicious conflict with the Angels of their complimentary Heaven. His current quest for vassals is an effort to amass a force to aid the side of Hell in this holy war. He left his home world suddenly, having been driven off not by angels, but by other demons who did not find the boy to be a fit ruler in such dire times. These would-be usurpers felt the only way to get rid of the old dynasty is to completely obliterate it. Though most of the demon population thinks it unnecessary to actually kill Orias, they have no faith in his ability to lead them during a major war. Only the servants in his castle truly want to see him rule. | | With his castle moved he's back to focusing on his main goals. His primary objective is to find powerful beings in this vast and varied realm and convince them to join his forces. Though he had felt for certain it would take a good many duels to convince people he was a worthy leader, he's found his own words (and a little bit of money) to be formidable motivators. He is also hoping to find a way to resurrect the dead in an effort to bring his parents back to life. | In the spring of 2004, another side story has developed in Orias's life. It started with his struggle to keep Candide from joining up with Sal. He feared, not just for his friend's soul, but also that he would never be able to match such a connection. While dwelling on what losing him would mean, he came to fall into some kind of love with him. He succeeding in fighting off Sal, gaining him as a mortal enemy in the process, but it didn't resolve those feelings. After much soul searching he decided to come out directly to Candide about it. It was only half-way successful at the time, but by June they were an offficial couple.

| Footnotes:| Demon Years: (Changed Shamelessly 7/05) -Orias's class of demons live up to 1000 human years or 100 cycles. With such a stretched out lifetime comes far slower aging. Much like how each dog year is said to be equal to 7 human years, 10 human years pass for each "demon year." Though Orias is physically, mentally and emotionally 13 and should be considered such, he is technically 132 years old (Birthday: Oct 17). | | Humanoid Demons: Unlike some other races of demons his is closer in nature to mortals than spirits, and will eventually grow old and die. Because of this he can't be banished, though the attempt might still injure him. Orias must eat, drink, and breathe like a mortal would. He can be killed with weapons and magic as easily as a human boy. Though they can be highly aggressive with each other, they do not kill without reason nor do they worry about overthrowing lands outside of Hell. You will not find them smashing happy little villages for the fun of it. Most of these demons are within the spectrum of "neutral" with an alignment to the element of shadow/void. |
