Hair: Blond, most often in a braid. Hair tends to be
slightly mussed with strands flying loose.

Clothing: When at home, she prefers casual clothes such, especially jeans and solid colored sweatshirts. However when working or out in the public, she's adopted a pink coat and turkish hat as an unofficial uniform.
Accessories:
Cane: Karol caries a cane/walking stick with her when she knows she'll be travelling. Made of a solid, lightweight wood, it forms a spiral at the top. When she first came to the Dream, Karol used the cane to compensate for a weakness in her legs, but the injury has since been healed. The cane came with her when she arrived in the dream.
Clipboard: When working Karol almost always has a clipboard with her. The clip on top is in the shape of the Napping Cat Face. The clipboard always seems to hold whatever she needs at the moment, and the contents are never refilled or changed. The contents always include her map and a magically updating list of Welcome Center Room assignments.
Specifically, the clipboards use Acme Electronic Paper. AEP provides the convience of electronic file editing with the portability of paper. Each sheet includes software such as a word processor or a basic graphics program. Data can be added, removed and edited without a single pen and no eraser. A port in the clipboard allows upload/download of data to a computer system with the appropriate software, and the clipboard is wirelessly hooked into the Welcome Center's internal network. Documents can be scrolled, but only one document can be stored on each sheet.
ACME Catalogues: While not normally on her purpose, Karol keeps a supply of ACME catalogues on hand at the Welcome Center and in her home. She uses them to order a variety of items as needed. Karol never receives a bill for these items.

Occupations & Classes:
Adminstrator of the Welcome Center, Webmaster and Co-Administrator of the Napping Cat's Dream Forum, Amateur Cartographer, Aide to Val, the Dancing Yin.
Skills & Training:
Webdesign & Webprogramming - Karol considers herself an expert in the creation and editing of websites and their associated programming. This skill is usually seen as part of her work for Furilius Pitch in maintaining and upgrading the Napping Cat's Dream Forum and Webcomic.
Dream Knowledge - Karol is aware that the Dream is a flexible reality, affected by the thoughts and wishes of those around it. This allows her to accept easily paradoxes caused by non-linear time lines, or illogical devices like the ACME Catalogues. While she accepts that it is theoritically possible to manipulate the Dream by thought and will, she does not attempt this outside of her Admin duties.
Cartography - Karol is an amateur in this area, and considers mapping a hobby when she has time. She enjoys the opportunity it gives her to meet the various residents of the Dream. She created the original Map of the Dream, but is currently disatisfied with it as it is more than a year out of date.
Karol has no combat or atheletic skills whatsoever, but does have general skills as appropriate for a 25 year old woman in the modern world - basic cooking, driving, sewing, computer use ect.
Abilities
For RP Threads:
Important Note - When not working in her official admin capacity, or at the Welcome Center, Karol displays few unusual abilities or skills. Her ability to use extraordinary abilities - and in many cases her awareness of them at all - has been consiously blocked. In a situation of intense danger to a loved one, this barrier may be partially raised - but only with prior GM consent, allowing her to access some of the knowledge she normally blocks. The only exception to this block is the Telepathy that allows her to communicate with her pups.
Limited Telepathy - Karol has a limited ability, to send and receive telepathic (mind to mind) messages. She can send messages to receptive minds that she is familiar with, but not to strangers or anyone with a stronger than average mental sheild. She can receive messages directed specifically to her, or messages broadcast on a 'loud' general mental stream. She cannot pick up emotions, background noise, stream of consioussness or telepathic conversations not involving her. This ability is most often used to converse with staff at the Welcome Center, with her Children or with her late mate, Victor.
Welcome Center Abilities:
These abilities are only available when Karol is in the Welcome Center or its associated threads. Karol's eyes tend to glaze when she uses any of these abilities, and she avoids talking about them whenever possible.
Multi-locating - Karol can be in multiple locations at once with no mental strain or fatigue. However, she will never be present more than once in the same room.
GM Will - Karol is aware within the Welcome Center that she has control over that reality in her function as God-Moderator. She uses this power primarily to enforce unbreakable wards within the Welcome Center that protect all within them from physical or mental harm, as well as invasion of privacy.
Meta-Knowledge - Karol has limited access to out-of-rp knowledge such as profiles and settle threads. This allows her to know avatar names without being asked, or to direct avatars to physical locations she has never seen, or to provide information on avatars she has never met. The knowledge gained is very general. This also allows her to directly access her expereinces in other threads, as was seen when the Welcome Center Karol reacted to seeing Victors death in a PERFORM thread.
Admin Threads Only
Dream Website Manipulation - As part of her duties in administrating the Dream Website, she can directly edit the database and html that runs the forum and comic archives. This also gives her access to edit posts, authorize avatars to post in all Boards and make various updates and upgrades as necessary. This ability is never accessable in an RP thread, only in administration threads used for these purposes.

Karol has no special effects at this time.
Weaknesses
Karol has all the frailties of a normal, unenhanced human being, and as such is susceptable to any sort of physical, mental, magical or technological attack.
When under stress, she tends to limp as if her old injury still exists. This slows her down somewhat.
Personal Information
Affiliations:
Romantic - Karol considered a relationship with Kit Chen soon after her arrival to the Dream, but did not persue the relationship. Karol then became involved with Victor, an alien-human hybrid after the arrival of their children from an alternate future. While their relationship was never formalized, they were living together at the time of his demise. Currently Karol is in mourning and has no plans to pursue further relationships.
Family - Karol is the mother of five Pups from an alternate timeline. Father is is Victor, a Dragon-wolf like alien. They arrived from aTheir The pups arrived from approximatly 20 years in the future, shocking both Karol and Victor with their arrival. Karol adores her children and is very protective of them.
Karol also considers herself an adoptive mother of Arashan, Tojiro Burton's younger brother. She spends little time with the boy as he is most often off with Tojiro, travelling.
Professional -
Karol works for both Furilus Pitch and Val in her capacity as Administrator of the Dream. They have a healthy and satisfying working relationship.
Karol also runs the highly popular Welcome Center, which offers free food and lodging to any Dream residents in need of such. She enjoys her working relationship with the Staff there, particularly Ceera and Krinele.
Friends - In her early days in the Dream, Karol make friends with a variety of avatars, including Zoe Summers, Millen Kyles and Tojiro Burton. However as her duties have increased, she spends less and less time in social activities, and often goes months without speaking to or seeing her various friends and aquaintances. Her closest friends at this point in time are Nat Nelson, Krinele and Ceera Darkwynde.
Pets:
Karol occasionally considers getting a pet, but generally considers herself too busy to give it the attention it would need.
Description of Personality:
Karol is slightly obsessive, and makes lists about everything. She has an intense need to be useful that can cause her to overload herself with interests, hobbies and responsibilies. Karol tends to define herself by the work she does, and shows tendencies to become a workaholic. Somewhat of a control freak, she's most at ease when she has a project in hand.
Despite the unusual abilites she demonstrates from time to time, Karol continues to perceive herself as entirly normal, and considers her abilities to come from without - the Dream, her jobs, and not from within in any form.
She enjoys working with the public and feeling she has a place of appreciation within the community. She's unflaggingly friendly and warm to those she meets, and displays an enviable amount of patience. Her temper, is not easily roused and fairly mild, but once her trust is lost it is not easily regained.
Her family grounds her and tends to be the stabilizing factor that prevents her from being completly work-focused.
Karol has an inexplicable affection for Penguins and jellybeans, and a slight phobia about spiders and other insects. (In short, they give her the heebiejeebies)

Breif History:
Karol was an average, ordinary Canadian woman, plunked from her everyday existence into the Napping Cat's Dream. The closest she'd come to any sort of magic, martial arts or other training was from watching far too much anime, and reading far to much sci-fi and fantasy.
Karol had been in a serious car accident before coming to the Dream, leaving her several permanent injuries, including a pronounced limp in her right leg and the inability to have children. A close friend was killed in the accident, leaving her with intense guilt as she was driving.
However, the Dream seemed to fit her like a glove and she very quickly came to consider it her proper home. After struggling for a time with the guilt for not only surving the accident, but also in ending up in what was to her a paradise, she accepted her place in the Dream and has never since looked back.
Two major events have affected her greatly since then, those being the arrival of her children from an alternate future, and her hiring by the Pitchfox to help administrate the Dream. These have helped to define her and her lifestyle.
She has also created the Welcome Center in an effort to ease the transition for newly arriving avatars.
