And, editing done! For now. I still have the old profile saved on my disk somewhere, so if anyone ever wants to have a peek at it (unlikely), I'll dredge it up for you. -Emrys PG
Age: He looks to be about in his early 20's, but his body doesn't age. His real age is undefined. He can't really remember how old he is. When you're immortal, you don't really have a habit of keeping track of your age.
Something you must also note is that Emrys is old. And I mean old. So old that most of the ancients of the dream would have a hard time simply understanding the concept of how old he is. I mean, you may think one universe is old, but that's nothing compared to Emrys. I won't go into it, right now, but you can IM me for a very lengthy talk on just how old he is.
Another thing you have to understand is that most of this time, he had absolutely no social contact with the physical world. In fact, he's only really been in the physical world for about twenty years, now. And most of that time was spent alone. He is still very much like a child in his perception of this world being a new place to him, if you know what I mean.
"You know, I still don't get that whole 'time' thing..."
Gender: Male, although having a gender at all is a relatively new thing for him. This means that not only does he not understand women, he doesn't really get men, either.
"Hey, just because I'm a guy, doesn't mean I'm a jerk."
Species/Race (human, furry type, robot, alien, etc.): His body is that of a "tweaked" human. As a Traveler, he could chose the body of any mortal creature to serve as the "vessel" of sorts for its astral body. Emrys chose a human male, but added a few non-human twists. It's important to note that the most noticable non-human feature about him is that he doesn't seem to come from any paricular ethnicity. Or, at the very least, one no one has ever seen before. His features also lean to the bishi side, just because he wanted his body to look pretty.
"Hey, I like my body. It's kinda cool."
Height: 6'3" (191cm) A little more than half of his height is concentrated in his legs. He appears to be about average height, until he stands up.
"Yeah, I know... I hit my head on the doorway, again..."
Build: He's rather skinny, but does have some muscle. Nothing too dramatic, though. His body is built more for acrobatics than weight lifting or fist fighting.
"I don't like too much muscle, the bulgy-vein things are so creepy! Eck!"
Coloration (skin, scales, fur, feathers, hair, etc.): His skin is pale, but he does have a hint of a tan. His hair is dark brown, and comes down to about his waist. Or, at least, it did before he passed through ANNAMMU's phantom. His hair is about down to his butt, now. He keeps saying he's going to trim it, but he never does. He wears his hair in a ponytail when the wind is too strong or he's just having a bad-hair day, but he prefers to keep it down. Anyone can notice that he seems to take care of his hair, and keeps it nice and soft. This is something that sets him apart from most other men.
SCARS On the back of his right hand is a scar from a battle with the Crimson King. It was caused by King's blood dripping onto Emrys' hand, and is in the shape of an eye with an octogonical pupil, the same as the symbol on King's forehead. It provides a psychic link between Emrys and King, and resonates with King's whenever they are close. Another effect of it is giving dreams to the both of them concerning the other's location when unknown circumstances are met. He also has many other scars. He has a scar from having his skin bitten off of his right shoulder, and his stomach has a splattered acid scar on it. He also has a flash burn scar on his lower left arm, although the folicles within this scar are still functional. He also has what looks like scars from animal claws on his right forearm. He forgot where he got those from.
"Yeah, I look good, so what?"
Eye Color: Gold. This is one of the more distinctly non-human traits about him.
"What? I happen to like my eyes."
Clothing / Armor: Emrys wears mostly black, and does so not only because black is slimming, but also because it adds a sense of formality to the wearer, even if they're dressing casual. His denim jacket is black, and has more pockets than he has possessions. It's comfortably baggy, like the rest of his clothes, and he wears it over a tucked-in gray t-shirt. The shirt is also rather baggy, and also somewhat thin. His belt is a simple leather one, with a red sunburst finish. The pants it keeps up happen to be very baggy, denim, and black. They're of a more modern persuasion, and cover the better part of his bare feet. He has a strict no-shoes policy, except in snow. He'll compensate with black boots to avoid frostbite. All in all, he dresses for comfort, but still retains a sense of fashion.
It should be noted that he can pull just about anything and everything out of his pockets. Whether this is enchantment or just odd habits on his part, one cannot be sure.
"Eh, they're comfy. I like 'em."
Occupation / Class: He's a simple wanderer. He has no all-to-impressive skills, but does have a decent voice, which he is in the process of training, and plays all sorts of variations on the bass guitar. He doesn't actually carry one with him, though.
If he ever has a need for money, which he normally finds useless, he'll sell himself as a sword-for-hire. However, he never really goes looking for work if he can avoid it.
It should be noted that he'll take just about any job, regardless of the employer's intentions. Whether or not he actually keeps that job is a different question. Just ask ANNAMMU.
He has since given up these practices and chooses to live a life of peace.
"Work is too much stress. Have more fun!"
Affiliations (family, friends, organizations): Since his return to the dream from a personal journey he set out on many moons ago, he has lost contact with many of his friends, even Gabriel and Si Jhanu. Actually, missing those... He's not too displeased about. He would most likely find himself in trouble around either one of them.

The one person he is looking for, rather frantically at the moment, is Chiisai. He hasn't seen her in a long while, and is worried about her safety.
Recently, though an odd and interesting turn of events, Emrys has developed something of a crush on Trabia Selphie. Trabia, after latching onto Emrys' hair during her sleep, woke up to find herself cuddling with a somewhat confused, somewhat flattered Emrys. During this whole thing, poor Mischa was inadvertently turned into a rubber duck by Selphie and subsequently crushed between her and Emrys.
The end result of this awkward meeting? Well, an awkward conversation, of course. However, they did manage to exchange some form of contact information or another, and seemed to part on good terms.
"Yeah, friends are nice, but... I dunno... I'm just not that good at making them."
Personal Antagonists (enemies, foes, rivals):
The closest thing Emrys has to an arch-nemisis is a black fox known only as "The Crimson King." It seems that King was the being possessing the warlord he murdered while he was still a Traveler (see: History). Now Emrys is out for revenge, and their battles seem to be leaving Emrys with a fresh set of scars every time.
Since his return to the dream, Emrys has seen little of The Crimson King, and with little complaint.
"This isn't about saving anyone. Not this time. This is about revenge."
Accessories (weapons, jewelry, tools, magic items, vehicles, etc.): Emrys doesn't really approve of jewelry, and finds it much too uncomfortable to wear.
He does, however, have a fascination with weapons, and carried three with him at all times at one point during his life. They were as follows:
The first is his top-breaking double-action magnum revolver (that's a mouthful...). It's a custom job that he picked up on some distant world, or may have created himself as a Traveler. He can't remember. It's design is based on a Smith and Wesson model 500 .50 caliber revolver. However, his gun carries six shots instead of only five, and it comes complete with a quick-loader, which is a device that holds and releases six bullets so that you don't have to reload one round at a time. He keeps the quick-loader and up to four extra sets of bullets in a leather pouch on his left side attached to his belt. He keeps his gun in a side-holster, with the grip of the gun at about palm height.
The second weapon is a set of wakizashi he keeps hidden on his back, under his jacket. He loves using dual blades, and he's found that wakizashi are the best for using dually with his style. However, his wakizashi were recently wrecked by King's acidic blood. In a more positive light, this now frees him from the demonic energies they were infused with. This said, it still leaves him without a close-combat weapon, untill he can replace them. Which he recently has. Okay, so he didn't replace them himself. This Christmas/Agnostica, Emrys was given two brand-new swords as a gift. The first is the obsidian sword, made by Archangel Gabriel, and given to him by Si Jhanu. The description given to me by Si and Gabe's PG reads something like this: *inside lay a jeweled ornament. of what, who knew. and beside it lay a large dagger, blade as black as obsidian with golden runes scrawled upon it. two rubies adorned the side of the handle, and a large diamond at the base of the hilt. between those rubies was another rune, only this one bigger and clearer to read* And it continued like this: *the dagger was perfect, in weight, in balance. she reached over, pointing it away from them and other people, and twisted the hilt to the left. the dagger shot out and extended into a sword. another twist, some nasty looking claw thing on the end of the sword popped out. if you jerked the hilt back in place, for where it still be a sword, the claw withdrew, folding back into the sides of the sword as if it were never there* Emrys wields this sword with a hand-and-half style. He prefers powerful strikes to speed when using this sword. This is because, like any good European sword, it carries a fair amount of weight. He keeps this sword in a home made leather sheath in the back of his belt.
The other sword was pulled out of STrRedWolf's Happy Agnostica bag. It's a basic katana, but a well-forged one. Because of a lack of description of it's specifics by STRedWolf, I'm giving it this description: A pretty standard katana, with a hardwood sheath and grip. It has no handguard, and appears to be a bokken at first glance. It has absolutely no special powers or otherworldly aspects to it. He wields this sword one-handed and surprisingly fast. His style involves a lot of "slice-and-dice"-type attacks. Aka, a long string of very fast attacks. His defense when wielding this sword, on the other hand, is very slow and methodical. He doesn't carry this sword with him unless I explicitly say otherwise.
These weapons he has long ago abandoned carrying with him. If he needs to settle anything, he will now have to rely on his fists and his feet.
When appropriate, he also carries a black messenger bag at his side. He seems to be able to fit more stuff in it than its dimensions would normally allow, so there is a bit of mystery surrounding it.
One very specific item he can pull out of his pockets is his laptop. At first glance, it appears to be a small metal cylinder. Once he pushes a button on one end, it extends to a length of 12" even, and floats in front of him. Then, a blue holographic keyboard and screen extend from it, giving it the appearance of a floating laptop. It has a slew of other functions, besides that of a computer, but I haven't quite invented them yet.
For a description of his van, check his home thread. I'm a bit too lazy to post it here. Besides, the profile's long enough already.
"I don't like carrying too much stuff, it's so heavy!"
Pets: He has no pets, but he is a nature-lover, and is just generally good with animals. He is absolutely fascinated with the complexity of life, and loves observing animals, and even plants, in the wild.
"Yeah, I guess I'm kinda a tree-hugger, but I just love trees!"
Abilities/Skills & Power Level:
MUSICAL SKILLS As I mentioned before, Emrys does have a good singing voice, and can play bass guitar. He also plays guitar, harmonica, ocarina, piano, and can pick up a new instrument in a matter of months. His playing and singing are both very emotional, being just about the only outlets he has for his emotions.
JACK-OF-ALL-TRADES Being entirely self-sufficient in nature, Emrys can do a little bit of everything. Sewing, leatherwork, cooking, cleaning, basic repairs. He doesn't often reveal these skills to anyone, but he has them all the same.
SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH He does have superhuman strength, being more of a variation on a human than an actual human. Even though the title reads "superhuman" strength, understand that it's only superhuman. It's not so super compared to dragons' strength, for example.
FLIGHT Another little tweak on the human theme is his flight. This is actually the product of stumbling across an old grimorie containing a flight spell, but like all magic, it can only be used on a world who's fabric of reality was woven with magic in the first place. This is the only spell he knows, and is probably the only spell he'll ever learn.
ACROBATIC SKILLS Also, he has incredible acrobatic skills, and can pull of some pretty impressive physical maneuvers. He can move like a circus performer when he wants to, which is only when he has the opportunity to do some mundane task in an incredibly creative way. For instance, instead of just getting up off of a couch, he'll flip himself up and around the back of it with one hand, just because it gives people a new perspective on how the human body can move. He's not showing off. Honest. Well... maybe just a bit.
MARTIAL ARTS Although this really isn't a special ability, it does allow him to do some things that others can't. For instance, he knows some Hapkido, so he can escape most grappling and holds. Another martial arts form he knows is Tae Kwon Do, which explains his affinity for kicks versus punches in unarmed combat. Last but not least is Judo, which helps him quite a bit when falling. The reader should note that while he is not a master in any of these forms, that he does know everything about each form that could aid him in saving his life someday. He finds no reason to study any martial arts form further. Because of this, he has zero knowledge of any forms, drills, or any other ceremonial aspects of any martial arts form he currently knows, or will pick up in the future. As far as weapons go, he's self-taught. Because of this, his attacks don't conform to any one existing martial arts form. He picked up bits and pieces along the way, and now has a very unique style. He can wield just about any weapon he puts his hand on. He only fights when there is no other way around a situation. Or when he's really pissed off. Either one.
TRAVELING The last true skill on the list is his ability to jump between worlds. This comes standard with all Travelers, and it carried over to his "human" form, as well. He has the option of choosing which world he's going to, but he usually lets fate work out where he's going next.
It should be noted that while he can choose the exact world, he can't choose exactly, or even vaguely, where on that world he'll show up. This has made traveling a very dangerous experience on a few occasions. However, he has developed a technique which involves jumping to the same world he's currently in to escape an attack while fighting. When this is used, he has a little more freedom in choosing where he'll end up next.
THE PG PHANTOM Whenever Emrys is anywhere, his PG is also there. Sort of. His PG (me) is in a sort of "in-between" place. The PG cannot be seen, heard, felt, or touched, but he is still there, while also being in the real world. If your character exists on enough planes at once to see him, or if he/she is an omniscient god, they will see the PG as a sort of phantom of Emrys, dressed only in pants and a t-shirt (all black) with half-frame square glasses and a sort of holographic laptop floating in front of him (identical to Emrys' laptop). He seems to be floating in a semi-reclined sitting position. All of this is adamant, unless I say otherwise.
"Yeah, so I can do some cool stuff. I'm still basically human, though."
Weaknesses: Although he doesn't age, he is very mortal. For all of his fancy superhuman abilities, his body is actually quite frail for that of a warrior of sorts. Other than that, you can't really get to him emotionally, he's mature enough to just shrug it off.
His one big mental weakness, however, is alcohol. While safeguards put in during his body's creation prevent him from being physically addicted to it (it also prevents his brain and liver from suffering), he's become slowly addicted to the mind-numbing properties of some of the harder earth-brewed drinks out there. Whiskey is a big one. Its not uncommon to see him in chat with a bottle of Jack Daniel's.
"Hey, watch it! I bruise easy..."
Special Effects (if any): None. Well, okay, so he has the swirly portal effect when he jumps between worlds, but that's it. I promise.
"Well, it's just this kind of swirly blue swooshing thing, you know?"
Description of Personality: Emrys is a pretty goofy character, but he can be serious. He is very mature when he wants to be, but rarely actually wants to be. He likes to take life as it comes, and not worry about the past or the future. Just after reading a few of his posts, you'll get the gist of his personality. He's complicated, and very curious at times, but he really fluctuates based on his mood. I know a lot of people like that, and it would be hard to describe their personality in anything less than a book. Emrys happens to be like that, too. He has a special affinity for the forces of life and nature. This is more something in his personality and how he views life than a special power of some sort. After all, being in tune with the life force of the forest doesn't really come in handy when the forest doesn't really exist.
"Yeah, I guess I'm complicated, but I just like to be carefree when I can."
Brief History: A while back (Emrys never really got the hang of that whole "time" thing) Emrys was a part of a special and highly advanced race of beings know only as "Travelers". They were created by the gods to wander across worlds, collecting information. However, they had strict laws against interfering or even interacting with members of the lower races. This really ticked Emrys off, however, as he had to watch countless people suffering and dying as the consequence of his inactions. Eventually, he broke the rules, and murdered a cruel warlord in order to save the lives of those under his tyrannical reign. It turns out that the man he killed was completely innocent, and was simply being controlled by a being known only as The Crimson King. Being the anal sticklers for rules that they are, the Traveler's High Council banished Emrys into an existence as a mere mortal. However, a loophole in the ruling allowed Emrys to keep most of the abilities that came standard with being a Traveler. Nonetheless, he was now doomed to wander forever across worlds, never staying in one place for long. Irony sets in when Emrys gives the Council his final words before departing: "I wouldn't have it any other way!"
The rest of his story (the parts in between here and the dream) will be added later, simply to keep his character somewhat simpler than he normally would be. At least, for the moment.
"I'm sorry, I just don't like to talk about my past..."
A brief and character revealing answer to the question, "What is your ambition?": "Ambition? I'm just here. It's not like I plan on doing anything important, I just wanna live life and see what it throws my way."

Alt List:
Captain James Lorani Eomer Zanther Onri
Sadly, this is more for me to keep track of who all I'm in control of than for anybody else's use. I have a very poor memory, and am likely to forget that these are, in fact, my characters. ...I know, its sad...
