Appearance: From the outside, Enterade looks like an easy going beachboy. His skin has a healthy tan at all times, even in the colder months. The weather doesn't actually seem to influence this at all. He likes to keep his hair spikey at all times. All in all, he looks quite healthy, although a bit chaotic. In general, Enterade will never look unhappy. If a smirk appears on his face, you know it is time to watch out for there is no telling what he is up to.
However, Enterade has a second face. His human appearance is only an appearance, however, his true shape is that of a humanoid mass of a black smoke-like substance, which is as vicious in its movements as a flame. This substance is pure, materialized chaos. It is in fact not dangerous, as it is under Enterade's control. Enterade will usually not show this form of himself voluntarily.
Clothing: As long as the weather will allow it, Enterade walks around in shorts and a t-shirt. He will usually wear denim for his shorts, and his shirt will be most likely black, although at times he will settle for different colors at times. He also tends to wear a denim vest over his clothing. On the beach he also likes to walk around in some colorful swimming shorts.
When the weather is colder, Enterade will settle for somewhat more warm. His shorts will be exchanged for jeans, his vest will be exchanged for a denim jacket and he will wear a warm long coat over his clothes for some warmth. He'll also resort to some heavy boots. Enterade definately has a dislike for cold and that shows in his clothing when it actually is cold.
Personality: Enterade's personality is as chaotic as chaos itself. He is not evil, but he can be wicked, as well as very nice. He is very well in control of his state of mind, but his emotions, whichever one is dominant at any time, are always working at a rather high rate.
Enterade loves to cause chaos for his own pleasure, but he will never needlessly hurt people in the process. When he causes havoc he will always make sure that those involved can also laugh about it afterwards. But he is, and will always be, a prankster.
All in all, when Enterade does something, he wants to do it right, and he wants to do it big. Don't expect small work from Enterade, expect him to excaggerate it.
Accessories:
Calling beads. These are given out to people special to him. They serve to get contact with him from any distance. At the moment in the dream, both Sibyl Human and Alex Tinker possess such a bead. Sibyl Human is Enterade's girlfriend, Alex Tinker is just a good friend of his who he knows from before the dream actually.
Spikes. Enterade uses these to fight, teleporting them to the most inconvenient places at his opponent. They can be very painful and very deadly. Enterade uses his object teleporting ability described below.
Abilities/Skills & Power Level:
Telepathy: Enterade can make mental contact with anybody within the same plane as himself, from any distance, as long as he knows the target well enough. When the target is close to Enterade (within sight range) he can also use this ability to make mental attacks. However, these attacks can be very devastating to those who have no inherent defenses against mental attacks, so Enterade prefers not to use this method of attacking.
Teleportation: First of all, Enterade can teleport himself to any place on the same plane as himself which he is enough familiar with to imagine it in his mind. He can take others with him as he teleports to the location.
Secondly, Enterade can teleport objects and persons without teleporting himself to any location within his sight range. He can also teleport them to locations blocked from his sight by an object but still within his sight range, but then he has to work with estimates and this could go wrong. Enterade also uses this ability to teleport his spikes into the bodies of opponents.
Power level: Enterade's inherent powers of telepathy and teleportation are pretty powerful, but they are limited to the element of chaos. In normal situations, chaos is everywhere, and Enterade, being part of this chaos, can use this element at his whims. However, his abilities will not work at any time when chaos is not present. Also, his inherent powers can be blocked by anybody who can block out chaos effects.
Chaos magic: Aside from manipulating chaos for his own inherent abilities, which is rather safe, Enterade can also call upon chaos to perform magic. However, this is not without risk. Chaos magic is a very unstable form of magic, and chaos magic in the process of shaping will react to anything that is near it, mimicking it and twisting it to its own desires. The caster can surpress this, but when outside influence becomes too large, he might lose control. Furthermore, chaos magic which is shaped and being used as magic, will still react whenever other magic spells are used around it, adopting properties of the magic in use and trying to release magic power through that property at all costs. This can sometimes turn out good, but often turns out pretty badly.
Power level: Chaos magic can be very powerful, but only when handled correctly and when used in a magically stable environment. Casting chaos magic is something Enterade will only use when circumstances force him too as usually the advantages of its uses do not live up to the disadvantages.
Weaknesses: Enterade is weak to any form of order. His body will try to force itself towards the nearest form of chaos when he is forced into an area of pure order. However, these kinds of areas rarely excist.
Absence of magic is another weakness to Enterade. His body is composed of the chaos element, thus it is purely held together by forms of magic. When magic is absent, Enterade will start to decompose by himself in a rather painful manner (he slowly vaporizes...)
Because he is a being of chaos, his body may react to other environmental effects also, as chaos would normally. Wild magic zones will cause Enterade to become unstable himself, while areas with strong present magics will cause Enterade to take on properties of the magic in play himself.
Special effects: Enterade's body is not entirely solid. To the touch it seems solid, but when hit, it acts as if it were made of some kind of thick mist. Cuts and small wounds can not be caused, as body and skin easily takes it's place again.
If a bodypart would be actually cut off, the true effect could be seen. The parts where the cuts appear change into an actual loose mist, and slowly move towards eachother again, until the body is fully restored (if needed and possible, using minor teleportations). Major impact also causes his body or parts of it to be temporarily distorted.
This causes Enterade to be practically unkillable... which is quite true, at least, for most physical methods. However, he can be seperated. If any part of his body is isolated from his body in a space small enough not to fit his entire body, it is lost until released. He cannot actually grow new bodyparts. As his bodyparts still function in the same way humans do, removing any vital parts for a sufficient amount of time will kill him. Also effects described under Enterade's weaknesses can kill him.
On chaos elementals: A chaos elemental is a being entirely made of chaos, in Enterade's case, a humanoid being entirely made out of chaos. However, the materialized chaos takes on a living form, and works in all ways like that of a normal living being.
On birth, a chaos elemental is not a child, instead, it will take on any form of a living being, and will forever stay in that form. It is immortal, as in it will not die of natural causes. The body will never age either, although the age might change at the whims of the chaos elemental.
The chaos elemental will never know his own birth as at birth, it already has a vivid and long memory of his own (although nonexcistant) life and this memory will becomes shared with other chaos elementals. Nobody can confirm a chaos elemental's true age.
History: Enterade does not remember being born or raised, like any other chaos elemental. One day he just started excisting, and strangely, had excisting memories. His home is the world of Limbo, a plane of pure chaos. Nothing is constant in Limbo, the plane is ever changing. Only the so-called anarchs can manipulate Limbo strongly enough to create some limited stability. Enterade was a very strong anarch on Limbo, and created one of the largest cities in the world, which is now the capitol of the chaos elementals.
Later on, Enterade started plane travelling, trying to bring chaos to other planes, in a hopefully positive manner. During his travels, he saw many things, and became interested in the concept known as a "sea". Seas did not excist on Limbo, yet they are, on first sight, one of the most chaotic presences on other worlds. On many worlds he helped with improving seas and sea life in many ways, and could often be found on the beach.
Enterade's travels brought him to the dream after a couple of years, where he now has a small beach house of his own.
Enterade and Sibyl: Enterade first met Sibyl Human in a game of Spin the Bottle, a very innocent childs game with yet such interesting goals. Enterade then decided he had to ask this girl out sometimes.
But Enterade had already signed himself up for the Dating Game, and he decided to see what could come out of that first. To his surprise, Sibyl was the guest on the show in which he was one of the mystery guests. Unfortunately, Enterade did not get chosen out of the three mystery guests... but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try and ask her out as he had told himself.
Enterade visited Sibyl's hotel and flirted somewhat with her there. A while later, she also decided to visit his beach house, and there he confessed to the fact that he liked her, and wanted to date her. After a very hard conversation, Sibyl agreed to go on a date with Enterade, putting her in a very difficult situation for a while. She actually cared for both the guys she was dating somewhat, and didn't want to have to choose... but eventually, she chose for Enterade.
A brief and character revealing answer to the question, "What is your ambition?": To meet as many interesting people as possible and cause chaos... all in good fun off course.
