Clothing A worn and tattered black three piece suit sans tie, and a dark trenchcoat, equally worn. His shoes are grey from dust.
Stance Casual, slightly slouched, hands in pockets. The mask relays no expressions.
Personality Egoistical and mocking, his first intention is to find out how far he can push others, seek out borders and aggressively work to knowing others inside out. With a perfect pokerface he is willing to make a gamble.
History After thousands of years wandering wastes after wastes, his original life is no more than blurry shards that don't even hold his name. And he is okay with that; What happened then no longer matters now.
Instead, he desires to look into the future; How he can build his amazing emporium of power revolving around him, himself and he.
Special
Mask Penumbra is a ghost whose soul is bound to the mask. The body in which he moves is not his - the original owner died a long time ago - making him something of a zombie. Whatever damage is done to the body does not kill him, and given time he can repair it again with ectoplasm. If the body is completely destroyed, however, he will need to wait for a new body to wear the mask.
The mask is ceramic protected by ectoplasm, which also keeps it attached to the body. Normal damage won't harm it, but a concentrated hit will shatter it like normal ceramic, freeing Penumbra's soul - effectively killing him.
Ghost Being a ghost gives him the ability to percieve the world without the need for normal senses, plus a 'sixth sense' for detecting other supernatural phenomena. In addition to that, the strength of emotions can give him certain empethatic insight into the minds of others.
Deception The two of his other qualities combined with his calculating mind, he is an expert at manipulation and deceit. He can bend his hollow voice to mimic any kind of emotion, and with a body that's not his and a face that shows no expressions, there's but a haunting soul to judge the truth by.
A brief and character revealing answer to the question, "What is your ambition?" "Absolute power. Over others, mind you. To know them and to mend them to my will. It will take planning. It will take knowledge. But I will get there.. I have nothing better to do."
