Age: Something above 20 and below 40, perhaps
Species: Arctic Fox Anthro
Weight: 140 lbs
Build: Strong; lean and wiry, though not exactly slim
Fur Color(s): Pure white, can be either short or long and floofy, depending on the season
Eye Color(s): Bright blue
Clothing: All black: loose silk shirt, sturdy boots, long enveloping cloak, wide-brimmed hat
Affiliations: Anyone he happens to run across often enough to call "friend". There are many of them, but they tend to be scattered across obscure pockets of the multiverse. A comprehensive list of even only the ones in the Dream would take up far too much space.
Accessories: A thin, black metal rod, about 16" long. If necessary it can expand in a spring-loaded fashion into a six-foot staff. It is made of tough, high-tech materials, but is hardly indestructable. He often also sports a pair of boot-knives; one of which is also high-tech ceramic that is nearly mono-edge sharp, the other of which has one side of the blade covered in pure iron, the other in pure silver.
A few nasty encounters have inspired him to arrange the ability summon somewhat heavier armerments. Chief amoung these are a basket-hilted rapier enchanted to be able to cut through just about anything not protected by magic or ultratech, and a small, stubby railgun pistol loaded with just about any kind of ammo a rather widely-educated and inquisitive mage can create or find.
Abilities/Skills: He is... well, many things. A very experienced and rather skilled mage, for one, though his absolute level of raw power is moderate at best. He is familiar with an impressively wide variety of technology, magic and people, and relatively hard to surprise or amaze. He has some skill playing a flute, is a competant sailor, has a working (if somewhat ad-hoc) knowledge of courtly etiquette, a patchwork collection of martial arts skills with sword, staff, spear and claws, and a myriad other useful bits and pieces. Many of these bits and pieces relate to getting out of situations which have become too dangerous.
Weaknesses: He does not like hot weather in any way shape or form, and laments the number of deserts he ends up crossing. He is a competant swimmer, but does not particularly like getting wet if he can avoid it (hot showers are another matter). His magical abilities are not particularly powerful in raw terms, though he often can compensate for this by using spells and techiniques from across the multiverse, and can usually chance on something nobody's seen before. His code of ethics is somewhat unconventional, and this sometimes gets him into trouble, or at least rather interesting debates with police, paladins, and other adherants of law. The one metaphysical field where he is notably UNskilled is psionics, though this is less true now than it used to be. And he is perfectly mortal and fallible, much as he would like to convey the opposite impression. He is also at times (yes, it's very rare, really) overconfident of his abilities.
Special Effects: Whatever flashy illusions he cares to weave, which is generally not much. He is perfectly capable of casting spells with nothing but some concentration, though it's more difficult.
Description of Personality: Varies. Cynical, fun-loving, light-hearted, darkly serious. It rather depends on the situation, though he does tend to approach much of life as a joke or game, one other people seldom understand. His sense of humor tends to be whimsical and perhaps a tad twisted.
Brief History: He doesn't talk a lot about it, being not terribly good at telling tales. He has been wandering through dimensions for most of his life, and whatever sorrows or joys he has met have left him, on the whole, unfazed (though perhaps a trifle dark at times). He continues to wander more or less aimlessly, though he still spends a fair amount of time in the Dream that has become the only place he's seriously called "home".
A brief answer to the question, "What is your ambition?": My ambition is simple: travel. Travel to different lands, different worlds, different realities. I just wanna see everything there is to see, learn everything there is to learn, and meet everyone there is to meet. But it would also be nice if I could survive it.
