Hong Kong, 1992

An abandoned, soon-to-be demolished block of flats. 10 stories up.

Rain cascaded down in an almost solid wall outside, making its way in through broken windows. The occasional belch of thunder broke into the background noise of night-time Hong Kong.

"Get up, dog vomit"

A once handsome face, now battered, bruised and bloody looked up, only to recive a stinging blow from a grubby, cloth-clad foot. Thunder crashed overhead again.

A hand picked scrunched into sweat-streaked hair, and raised it up.

"Now Sammo. I'm going to ask again once. Where is it?"

Sammo blubbered wildly.

"I know nothing at all! I know nothing at all!"

A fist smashed into 'Sammo'.

"You like to fly, Sammo?"

The mysterous figure guestured to his? her? thugs.
They grabbed Sammo and dragged him out to where a massive hole had been knocked in the wall.

"No! No! I'll tell! Gui Long, I'll tell!"

"Good Sammo. Where."

"I don't know!", here they started to heave him out,"but Kit! Kit Chen! He knows! He knows!"

"Are you not truthing, Sammo?"

"I swear, Gui Long! The truth!"

"Good. Enjoy your flight, Sammo!"

There was a slight glitch, then the thugs pitched a body out of the window. It plummeted all the way down, landing heavily on the floor.
