"Ah... Candide. He's had such a rough week as of writing this; tangling with extraordinarily powerful avatars who could wipe him out with half a thought! You've got to respect that though. Despite his fragile human body, he's not afraid to speak his mind, most of the time at least. I mean, when you can torch a small village with a flick of your wrist you don't have to worry about whose toes you step on, but to step on the toes of someone whose foot is as big as your whole fragile human body, that takes guts...or recklessness at least. Either way, those are qualities I like in a vassal.
Speaking of being a vassal, Candide's been a great one so far. Sure, he hits like a kindergartner, but he's worked well in the support position I put him in. He does what I say, how can I not like that? It's just a shame at their best humans only live to be about 100. At least working for me must have damned him by now! Don't feel sorry for him though, I take good care of my friends! Overall, he deserves a card, and I know he'll get one.
