Ryan: As your knife hits the gem a high "Ping" can be heard, followed by a "Crack". The gem has now a small fissure running through it. You drop on the floor and a few moments later the skeletons pounce on you. You can't evade on your own, but Melvo comes in the last moment and pushes you aside (I made this up, since his PG has computer troubles at the moment. Hope he doesn't mind). Now you both lie on the floor near the head.
Charli: Not the whole statue breaks off, just the upper part. Thus it's relatively light and easy to carry. After hitting the gem several times it bursts in an explosion of light. Sparks shoot out like from a sparkler. Exhausted you drop the stone and land on the head.
The skeletons were piled up at the place where Ryan landed, like rugby players. They get up quickly and pounce again. In midair the gem explodes and Melvon and Ryan are buried under a rain of bones. It seems they are dead for real this time.
From the now empty eye socked sparks continue to spurt out and you can see some wires looking out.
Neema meanwhile was occupied with spinning the skeleton in her bubble like in a giant washing machine. As the gem bursts, also the skeleton in her bubble bursts. "Hm?" She looks to the others and sees the beautiful spark rain coming from the head. "Wee! Like at Christmas." She releases her grip on the water bubble and it collapses, creating a mud-puddle with all the dust and dirt on the floor. In the middle of the puddle though, lie some shiny white bones.
She walks over to Ryan and Melvo and helps them get out of the bone-heap.
