Chad peers at his reflection in the floor (and walls, and ceiling, for that all-around perspective) critically. While his exterior still resembles that of a normal human being, the holes bored through him -- not to mention the severed leg -- reveal the truth of the matter, as bright pink foam rubber shows through.
Using the ring to stop himself, the foam rubber man settles to the floor, holding what's left of his right leg up to the point at which it was severed. The foam rubber's regenerative powers slowly knit the material back together, although there's a noticable crease that won't go away until he can replenish the material he's lost. But at least he's back to being bipedal again.
Once he's restored his leg, Chad makes his way over to the table to study the odd objects there. He's already figured out the rings, but the bazooka-like device looks entirely too dangerous to handle. The other object, however... The foam rubber man picks up the handle, and waves it about, guessing it to be some kind of sword. He glances about, with a somewhat guilty expression... and then tries lopping off his left arm with it.
