Molly Fullin: Welcome to Cruisin' Dream. This time, we've taken a jaunt off-ship out to a tropical coral ring island, more commonly called an atoll! Within this ocean-bound lagoon, Avatars can swim around and generally have fun both in the water and can recline on the launch craft's deck. All within sight of the SS Dreamline!
Molly Fullin: Molly, for her part, is presently swimming, though it doesn't so much look like swimming as floating on her back and somehow propelling herself. Big long strong tails, gotta love 'em.
Haai: The water's warmer than Haai would prefer, but it's not intolerable. And the sun feels almost pleasant. For the moment retaining her human form, the woman wades about in the shallows, the water not quite to her knees. She's wearing a lavender string bikini that's close to being no bikini atoll! Just a little joke there, folks. For all of that though, the shark-girl seems sad. Not too long ago, she would have eagerly stayed here and sought out a territory. But now...the life of a simple, solitary shark seems far too...lonely.
Haai: Occasionally she bends down or crouches to get a closer look at an interesting shell or creature. Every once and a while her hand darts out and captures a small, brightly colored tropical fish...which discreetly finds its way down her throat and into her belly. Haai is almost always hungry.
Akasma: Akasma herself isn't in the water, at least not just yet. Rather, she's padding slowly along the damp sand just beyond the waves rolling in. Her swimsuit isn't quite as revealing as Haai's being a tankini. The pale, swirled red of the suit stands out well against her white fur. Like the shark-girl, she two bends down once in a while, though to pick up shells, not fish. And she doesn't eat them.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: "Heyyyaaa!" Comes a scream from the desk, as a shorts-clad feline hurls himself over the edge of the highest nearby platform and into the water- be that platform the ship, a dock, a large tree, whatever. Flailing limbs of the tabby can be seen as he plummets for the short time- before making his splash entrance- even if he is some distance away, it's hard to miss somebody doing that.
Haai: Haai does indeed turn to watch the cat's rather dramatic entrance, blinking. Admittedly, she's still relatively new to the surface world...but she thought cats hated water.
Akasma: The angora blinks at the sudden commotion from over in Dash's direction, looking up, a small spiraled shell still in her hand. And hey, not all cats hate water! Darn stereotypes.
Haai: Hey, tell me if Akasma got in the water and Haai shifted form the cat wouldn't run back to the beach screaming bloody murder about a 'killer shark'.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Not true for this allycat!~ That's a bit of a misconception, anyhow~ The slash kicks up water in a wide arc around him, and he remains under water for a long moment afterwards- resurfacing a bit later, head bobbing up and down.
Akasma: That would mean she's scared of sharks, not the water! 'Kas can't help but smile at Dash's enthusiasm, though she stays where she is for the moment.
Haai: Not the point! The point is that her reaction to Haai would be just as stereotypical!
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Neither of them are in the water~ That's all that matters. He waves both of his arms back and forth, looking vaguely in the direction of both Akasma and Haai~ He shakes his head, freeing water from his ears as he shouts. "Heeeyyy! The water is warm!" Yes, yes he's enthusiastic. So much so, he remembered to wear pants.
Haai: Well, she's technically in the water, even if it's only to the knees. She looks over at Miles and sighs. "It's too warm, really."
Akasma: Well thank god for small miracles then. Skinny dipping is fun and all, but only in the right place and time. Tossing the shell in her hand away, she pads slowly over in Dash's direction, only letting her feet get wet just yet.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Dash's response is simply... nothing. Okay, so he hears her comment about it being too warm, but he simply doesn't care. He turns towards Akasma, waving a hand towards her in an almost exaggerated motion, grinning a feline grin as he does so. "Hey~"
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Hey- he's a poor boy from the '30s. This is probably a good idea on his part- or some kind of luck.
Akasma: We'll hope it's the former rather than the latter. Returning the other cat's grin, she waves back at him, stopping nearby, still only her toes wet. "H'lo there."
Haai: She watches the two felines, and retreats to a rock poking up out of the water to perch there, resting her head on her hands. She couldn't figure outjust why she felt so glum lately. She'd hoped coming here would help, but it's only really reminded her that she's now made of two worlds, and doesn't really belong to either.
Meridian Fairweather: * Meridian was doing her best not to be noticed, backfloating on the water, she'd prefer icy cold water but this water is alright too *
Aaron "Dash" Miles: "-ey." He lifted himself from the water, walking forward from his spot in the water (which was a bit far out) as he approached, it appeared that his fur wasn't getting soaked~ it was a bit water resistant, although, it was clearly 'damp'. He stands himself up, and smiles dumbly towards her- before he motions for the water, where he had landed. "'wanna swim?"
Akasma: Dash is lucky in that. Though if he stays in the water too long, it'll only be a matter of time before his undercoat gets soaked through. Wet cat is almost as bad as wet dog. Smiling as she watches the other feline approach, she laughs quietly and nods, finally stepping into the water. Her fur soaks through immediately unfortunately, though it won't look really bad until she gets out again. "Sure!"
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Only a matter of time, really~ However, his coat seems well built for short jaunts in the water. As she approaches, he backs himself up to the deep section he had been in previous, and flops onto his back, kicking his long legs under the water, propelling himself backwards.
Meridian Fairweather: * something brushed up against her left leg, her immediate response is to roll over and swim toward the atoll but the something turned out to be coral instead, she breathes a sigh of relief, no pranks or danger today *
Schatten: And speaking of wet dog, here comes one right now. When the heck did Schatten get on a cruise? Maybe he didn't. Maybe he was just in the area. Whatever the case, the malinois bounds through the shallows, his legs and belly dripping and his back speckled in sand. It doesn't take a lot to make him happy, , and his tail wags enthusiastically as he snaps at the waves.
Akasma: The angora wades out until it's deep enough to swim, pushing herself forwards after Dash. If nothing else, long fur looks rather impressive underwater. "I don't think I've met you before."
Meridian Fairweather: * Schatten isn't all that wet yet but Meridian smells canine, rolls over to silently dog paddle toward the source keeping just her head above the water *
Aaron "Dash" Miles: "'people call me Dash. How do you do." Dash floats towards her, and then, as he approaches nearby, he twists himself in the water and sticks a hand out in some kind of kooky sideways handshake- although, it's only a split second before he isn't buoyant anymore, and he sinks.
Haai: Haai looks toward the dog. For a moment, almost a moment, she contemplates hunting. Mammal blood is always tastier than fish. But she's too emo. She sighs again and draws her knees up to her chest and resting her chin on them.
Schatten: Some dogs don't have to be totally soaked to stink! And Schatten's one of them. He hasn't had a real bath in a while after all. Aware of the people present, but distracted by the water, the dog yips happily, splashing about and generally making a fool of himself.
Akasma: "Nice to meet you Dash. I'm 'Kas." Treading water, she reaches out to take his hand, but blinks as she suddenly drops below the surface. Keeping herself afloat, she reaches down, her head still above water as she tries to find him.
Meridian Fairweather: * the irony, Meridian is acting more like a shark than Haai is right now, its a good thing Schatten is splashing around so much otherwise it would be hard to get close *
Schatten: Ironic indeed. And Schatten indeed hasn't seem to have noticed Meridian yet. Just how close can she get?
Haai: [Great White]: Maybe a swim will clear her mind. In fact, maybe if she spent more time in the form she was born with, she could lose these bizarre human feelings. The woman slips down off the rock, placing it between herself and the rolicking others. Behind the bulk of the rock(she's at least caught the hint that humans are hung up on nudity!), she slips out of her bikini and puts it atop the stone, then shifts into her shark form, sinking down into the water. That DOES feel good. However, she's a good deal larger than any average great white, and as she comes around the edge of her makeshift hiding spot, that razor edged dorsal fin is as unmistakeable as it is freaking huge.
Haai: [Great White]: And headed toward the deeper water area where the two felines are.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: If the water is clear, she can see him- if not... then not~ However, regardless, he immediately spins around, so he's facing towards her, and kicks both his legs and arms out, swimming past her, resurfacing a bit behind her, and off to the side. Dash isn't the best looking feline- not ugly, but a simple, farming boy- with some pretty interesting and easily visible wounds. A wicked scar runs across one of his cheeks, and then across the upper eyelid- and, one of his usual feline fangteeth appears to be utterly absent. Missing. This can be seen most of all, just after he resurfaces, and gives a silly sort of grin towards her, extending the arm towards her once again~ Shake?
Meridian Fairweather: * if she had gills she'd be right on top of him or under him but in this case she sends out a word balloon with the word "Yip!" it large black font *
Akasma: The water is probably clear enough. She straightens back up, still grinning as he surfaces again. His appearance doesn't seem to bother her at all, and hey, she's not short her own fair share of scars. Her left ear is entirely missing after all. At any rate, laughing again, she reaches out to take his hand. As she does so though, she stills, staring past the cat at something else. Wuh-oh.
Schatten: Well that's hard to miss. Blinking, the dog looks up as the speech bubble appears, and he tilts his head. He can read, but only just, and it takes him a moment to piece it together. And it only takes a moment more for him to spot Meridian herself. ~Hello?~
Haai: [Great White]: Ominous cello music, anyone? The shark does seem to have singled out Akasma and Miles as a target, though in reality, she's only trying to get past them into deeper water where she'll have some room to play rather than simply glide along.
Molly Fullin: The central lagoon of the atoll is deep enough, or is Haai headed outside of the coral reef? >.> (( trying to catch up a bit ))
Meridian Fairweather: "You've got a nice voice." * the font kind of coos to Schatten, meanwhile its source back swims in circles around the canine playfully *
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Dash takes her paw into his own, and shakes it wildly up and down in a silly and exaggerated handshake. He doesn't notice the shark. He doesn't notice her get still either. Shake shake shake shake. "Pleased 'ta meet you, 'Kas!"
Haai: [Great White]: She's just headed from the shallower water where she was wading into the more central part of the lagoon.
Schatten: Well that's the first compliment like that Schatten has ever gotten. Tilting his head curiously to the side, he watches Meridian, turning to follow her. ~Uh, thank you.~
Akasma: It might strike Dash a bit odd that she isn't really returning the handshake, just letting him move her arm up and down. Staring over his shoulder, she starts to back water, heading towards the shore and trying to drag him with her. "I think we should get out of the water..."
Meridian Fairweather: "Your welcome." * this time complete with smiley faces, she stops swimming to stand and let Schatten see who is talking to him, she's wearing her blue bikini *
Haai: [Great White]: Haai swims onward, unaware of the impending chaos her presence is about to cause.
Molly Fullin: Molly's slightly less concerned, if only because she's floating and looking at the single cloud in the sky.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: He lets go of her hand... although, she's probably still dragging him, depending on the hold she has. He staggers along as she pulls. "Uh- what? We just got in."
Akasma: The angora doesn't say anything, just pointing over his shoulder at the approaching fin, moving backwards even faster.
Schatten: The dog's tail wags a little faster when Meridian finally stands up, his tongue lolling out of his mouth. ~I'm Schatten.~
Haai: [Great White]: Haai's almost upon them now, given that it's pretty much a given that a shark can swim faster than a cat can drag another cat through the water...
Meridian Fairweather: "My name is Meridian Fairweather, like this spot: the middle of nowhere on a fine day." * she's being so friendly because he's a canine obviously *
Schatten: Hey, Schatten doesn't know that! He just assumes that Meridian is friendly to everyone. Grinning in that canine way of his, he pads about in the water around her for a moment. ~I like it too!~
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Dash stares towards the shark fin. Hey, he hasn't seen Jaws before. Really. However, he is smart enough to comment, speaking in the same tone he always had- sounding almost dumb, dumb enough to be calm in the situation. "Your splashing will only attract it." However, he's /still/ being dragged along.
Meridian Fairweather: *and a little more friendly she goes * "Can I touch your fur?"* she doesn't really care of that he smells like wet dog, if fact she loves the smell of wet dog *
Akasma: "I'm not splashing." Really, she isn't. She's moving as quickly as she can without making too much commotion. Hey, she's seen all those documentaries on the nature channels before.
Schatten: Well you don't find a person who likes that stink every day. All the better for Schatten though! His tail wags even faster, and he yips quietly. ~Sure!~
Krusk: <,_,<
Haai: [Great White]: And Haai approaches, closer...closer...close enough to see those flat black eyes and the jagged triangles of teeth larger then a hand... And then she glides right past them like they aren't even there, continuing toward the center of the lagoon. How...anticlimactic.
Meridian Fairweather: * and by touch she means a full on bear hug, lightly pawing at the larger puffs, its been years since she's hugged another canine, its more pack bonding than anything else *
Aaron "Dash" Miles: He makes a face, and watches the shark pass them. He blinks a bit, and puffs his chest out, speaking in a very mocking holier-than-thou tone. "Told you so."
Krusk: *ponders throwing Chum in the general vicinity of Aaron*
Akasma: Anticlimactic is juuust fine with 'Kas. She stiffens as Haai goes by, her eyes following the massive form. When the shark is finally beyond them, she lets out the breath she'd been holding, and she keeps heading backwards. "I still don't want to be in the water with it."
Haai: [Great White]: Mmmm...chum....
Schatten: Hooray for bear hugs! Meridian has an armful of wet, sandy, wiggly dog. Squirming a little, he turns enough to lick at her face. Eeew, dog slobber!
Eleuterius Penfield: And so once again a plaid lad has joined the cruise.
Haai: Haai sighs, quite a feat for an underwater shark. This isn't helping, either. All it's making her want to do is eat the people in the lagoon. And that would be Bad. Or at least, that's what she's been told. Even if they do scream and thrash so enticingly when she bites them... The shark circles around and heads back for her rock, taking a wider berth around the two felines this time, so the fear scent won't tickle he instincts anymore than it already has. Back behind the rock she goes, and reemerges as a bikini clad human once more!
Molly Fullin: Whee, plaid swimming trunks? Or heaven help us, plaid manthong?
Meridian Fairweather: * even better, they're boding! wonders how to return the favor when she doesn't make that much slobber so rub behind the ears will have to do *
Haai: She starts wading toward the shore, leaving the shark's disppearance a mystery. Was that a bit of plaid she spied on the beach, there?
Krusk: *Plaid bananahamoc...*
Eleuterius Penfield: Nope, just plain swimming trunks. But the plaid Hawaai shirt has made it's horrific return. At any rate, 'Looter's just truding along the sand, whistling to himself.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: He shrugs. You know, she's been dragging him ever since she started- or, at the very least, he's been following. "Fine with me." And, he seemed contented to follow her further-
Schatten: Plaid? Did someone say plaid? Meridian might be a bit disappointed when Schatten suddenly stops trying to lick her to death and turns away from her. ~'Looter!!~ Barking happily, the dog tears off in his direction, kicking up sand.
Haai: "'Looter?" She's pretty sure no one else would wear that particular getup, but she hasn't seen Eli in a while, and she's not close enough to be sure yet. And scent doesn't work nearly as well on land as it does in the water.
Meridian Fairweather: * well so much for pack bonding, goes about wiping off the sand flung on her body, by splashing herself down *
Akasma: Yeah, she has been dragging him, and she keeps dragging him until they're in the shallows, not anywhere near deep enough for a shark the size of Haai. Out of the water, she looks a bit pathetic, her fur plastered to her skin.
Eleuterius Penfield: 'Looter grinned broadly as he recognized his friend. "Schatten!" And then it got wider as he saw his other friend. "Haai!" Man, he hasn't seen either of these two in awhile.
Haai: Yeah, and last time he saw both of them together they were trying to kill each other. In fact, Haai draws up short when she sees the dog, and stops in her tracks.
Schatten: Enthusiastic dog greeting! I hope 'Looter doesn't mind getting wet and sandy, since the dog all but tackles him, jumping up and pawing at him. He hasn't noticed Haai yet. ~Hi 'Looter!!~
Aaron "Dash" Miles: He just looks a little silly, fur matted to his body. He shakes his head, then arms, then kicks a leg out, kicking some of the water off in a pretty untamed sort of way. He grins towards her, amused by her sopping wet fur.
Eleuterius Penfield: When has he ever minded? And he'd kneel down to start giving the dog a thorough petting. "Where'd you get to!? And you!?" He's still calling out to Haai expectantly.
Akasma: You could say the angora looks like a drowned rat, but only if you want to get slapped. At any rate, she eyes the water beyond them warily for a few moments, unable to see the shark any more (though she doesn't know why of course). Her shake is a bit more graceful than Dash's, but less effective.
Haai: She doesn't come any closer, but she does respond to 'Looter, if so quietly it's rather difficult to hear her. "I've been...alone."
Schatten: Happy dog! He eventually flops down, rolling over onto his back for some belly rubs. ~I've been around. Just sort of wandering I guess.~ Before he can say anything else though, he hears Haai, and his ears twitch. It's sort of ridiculous the way he looks at her, upside down, wet and sandy, but his tail stops wagging, and he rumbles quietly. He remembers being bit by her! D:<
Eleuterius Penfield: "Alone? That uh...robot guy been treating you alright?" As he'd start rubbing Schatten's belly. "Calm down Schatten, she's okay..."
Haai: "I don't know...I left. I didn't feel like I fit in with him, either. And the other one was always so nasty to me." She sighs and sits where she is, not responding to Shatten's rumbling. She's not hungry right now, and sharks don't really have the whole "OMFG we fought we are now eternal mortal enemies" thing going on. "I always wind up alone."
Schatten: Schatten doesn't hate Haai by any means, but the hostility he has towards her is a reaction to their last encounter. He's a police dog. He's supposed to be that way. Rolling over onto his stomach, he keeps an eye on her, not getting up but still rumbling. He's careful to keep his thoughts to 'Looter only. ~I don't like her.~
Eleuterius Penfield: "C'mon, it doesn't have to be that way." And he's still petting Schatten. "It was just a misunderstanding Schatten."
Haai: The corner of her mouth quirks up faintly. "You make it sound so easy. But to humans, I'm half a monster. To my birth kin I'm half prey. How can I fit in with either anymore?"
Schatten: ~But she bit me!~ There is, of course, the fact that Schatten bit her first, but that doesn't seem to concern him very much. Grumbling, he eventually sighs, resting his chin on his forepaws.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Yes, he's watching, her~ Like a creep, he is. He blinks at her attempt to rid herself of water, and then laughs a bit. "Maybe you shouldn't have joined me."
Akasma: If he oggles too much, his eyes might fall out! Or his face will stick that way, one or the other. Brushing her wet hair away from her face, she echoes his laugh. "I was going to swim anyway. Don't worry about it."
Eleuterius Penfield: "Nobody thinkgs you're a monster." Schatten must find 'Looter's forgiving nature frustrating sometimes.
Haai: She laughs, once. "I went swimming, just now. I could TASTE the fear. And all I did was swim past."
Schatten: Oh, he does, he does. He doesn't argue though, just whuffling to himself.
Eleuterius Penfield: "Well yeah, 'cos they don't know you. I mean...uh...how would you feel if like..." He tried to think of something that could beat up a shark. "A pod of killer whales just started heading towards you for no reason?"
Haai: "I wouldn't like that much, no..." She looks thoughtful, wrapping her arms around her legs.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: If she hasn't let go of his hand by this point, he'll do so, stepping aside. "Well, that's good. Because I wasn't worrying anyway." He oogles her for a moment later, before looking around himself. "Some cruise, huh?"
Eleuterius Penfield: "Exactly...they just gotta get to know the Haai I know...y'know?"
Eleuterius Penfield: Honestly, Haai may think she's a monster, but that shirt's a real crime against nature.
Akasma: She hadn't realized she was still holding onto his hand! Whups. Blinking a little, she watches him, managing to not blush as he oggles. Too bad he's spoken for. "It is. Feels nice to get away like this for a while."
Haai: "I...I guess." She moves a little closer to Eli, and thus to Schatten, though she's not making any hostile moves toward the dog.
Schatten: The dog stiffens just a little as Haai moves, but he doesn't do anything else, just eyeing her warily.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: "Good food, too. Lotsa time to spend just relaxing. Nice people, too. Nice, happy people." His tone of voice remains rather silly and carefree- a bit overly loud, careless of what others thought of his comments.
Eleuterius Penfield: 'Looter'd just keep a restraining (ha!) hand on Schatten's back as Haai approached.
Haai: She sits back down next to 'Looter, and looks at him with those odd, solid black eyes. "Why are you always so nice to me? Even when you knew what I was, even after the things I did...why?'
Eleuterius Penfield: "What happened was a misunderstanding, that's all. And...heck, my wife can turn into a bigger monster than you." He grinned.
Akasma: The angora just laughs quietly again, padding away from the damp sand to settle down somewhere drier. The sand sticking to her fur looks pretty awful right now, but it'll brush off just fine as she dries. "What made you come on the cruise?"
Schatten: Suspicious dog is suspicious! He keeps the peace for the moment though.
Haai: She nods, looking down at the sand for a long time. "I'm...glad. I like you."
Aaron "Dash" Miles: He scratches at his eye- the one with the scar on it. His expression is a bit slow, and he makes a bit of a face, scrunching his nose up as he thinks- before simply responding, "'dunno. Just 'felt like it, kinda."
Akasma: She grins, watching him but not commenting on his face. "That's a out the same reason I decided to come."
Eleuterius Penfield: He's about to get more suspicious. "Why don't you try petting Schatten for a bit?"
Aaron "Dash" Miles: "Just 'cause? That's the best- 'yanno- you just get to enjoy it. Nuthin' else." That elicits another smile from the feline.
Haai: "I...do not think I should." She looks away, out over the water.
Schatten: Considering the low growl that rises in Schatten's throat at the suggestion, Haai is probably making a wise decision.
Akasma: She shrugs faintly, her gaze moving out to the horizon stretching away. "Yeah, that's about right." Really, she's been worrying about what's been happening back in Anycity without Chainer around, but ah well.
Eleuterius Penfield: "Ha ha..he just needs to get to know you a little better. It's alright. Give it a try." "C'mon Schatten, do this for me and I'll fix you whole plate full of bacon." Bribery!
Haai: She shakes her head, drawing further into herself, pulling her legs up against her chest.
Schatten: Bacon, Schatten's biggest weakness! Darn you 'Looter. Pinning his ears back, the dog hesitates for a long moment, before the thought of lovely delicious pig fat finally wins him over. Giving the plaid lad a 'You owe me' look, he gets up, padding slowly over towards Haai and sitting down.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Dash has got his partner to worry about- but, not really. Coop can take care of himself- or, at least, that's what Dash thinks. He smiled and then motioned towards the boat. "Maybe we should head back?"
Haai: She flinches visibly away from the dog, as though she expects to be attacked.
Schatten: The dog doesn't look exactly happy, but he doesn't look like he's about to try mauling her again. Huffing a quiet sigh, he leans forward and nudges her with his nose. Cold and wet!
Akasma: "I think I'll dry out a little more before heading back. Don't let me keep you though if you want to go."
Haai: "Ahh!" She tumbles over backwards at the nose-touch.
Eleuterius Penfield: 'Looter just watched semi-anxiously.
Schatten: Schatten's yelp when Haai falls over probably doesn't put her anymore at ease. Sudden movements are bad! He doesn't snap at her though, backing up instead.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: "I don't have any reason to go either. Just wondering what you were doin', Kas?" He speaks questioningly, padding up a bit on shore, to dry land, before suddenly sitting his butt on the ground.
Haai: "Please...just...don't..." She's huddled into a little ball now.
Schatten: His ears flat against his skull again, the dog backs up another few steps before looking over his shoulder at 'Looter again. He gives something between a whine and a growl before just padding away, heading off to play in the shallows again. Hey, he tried!
Eleuterius Penfield: 'Looter just sighed.
Haai: "I'm sorry. I...I'm just...I should go." She gets to her feet, hastily.
Eleuterius Penfield: "Wait...c'mon Haai..." As he'd start getting up...
Haai: She doesn't respond...but she doesn't move away, either.
Akasma: Settling down next to him, she leans back, supporting herself on her arms and just soaking in the sun. "I'm doing exactly what I want to be doing right now. Nothing whatsoever."
Eleuterius Penfield: "Why don't you come along on the cruise with me an' Schatten?" Yup, he's dragging both of them along. Even if he had to bribe a spinner or two...
Schatten: The dog just goes back to padding around in the shallows, snapping at the waves again and unsuccessfully trying to catch fish.
Haai: "I...I don't know." She sighs, and a gust of wind catches her hair, hiding her face for a moment. Then she looks back at him. "You won't leave me?"
Eleuterius Penfield: "Promise." He grinned. Ginger probably regrets 'Looter's nature sometimes as well.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: "Perfect. Then you're doing the same as me~ Just my luck, right?" Yea, Dash was a little strange. But, his childish attitude was refreshing- or so he had been told. He was so unlike the apathetic and pessimistic people that he interacted with.
Haai: Oh, indeed she probably does. Haai finally smiles a little. "Alright then..."
Molly Fullin: Well, 'Looter won't have to bribe Molly, who's finally made her way onto the launch and... seems to be drying off now.
Akasma: Brushing her hair back again, 'Kas finally climbs to her feet, brushing as much sand from her still drying fur as she can. "I suppose we should start heading back."
Schatten: Schatten just keeps wandering farther down the beach.
Aaron "Dash" Miles: "You suppose. Well, alright~" He stands once she has, and looks towards her waiting for her to lead the way back to the boat~
Eleuterius Penfield: And so 'Looter's off following Schatten! He'd wave to Molly as he passed her by. "Oh hey, can I ask you somethin'?"
Akasma: And, humming softly to herself, she heads back towards the boat!
Aaron "Dash" Miles: Dash moves in toe~
Molly Fullin: Molly blinks, wondering if 'Looter was talkng to her. Her player only slightly distracted.
Eleuterius Penfield: Indeed he is! "Was...wonderin' if I could ask you if a couple of friends of mine could...uh...well...I know it's a particularly unusual request but...I wanted to know if they could join...the...cruise maybe?"
Molly Fullin: She blinks again, then nods, "Oh, certainly! The crew can get them assigned quarters, or if... Schatten, right? If he'd be more comfortable with someone, then that's perfectly allowable."
Eleuterius Penfield: ...Even though both the players of said friends have gone to bed by now. "Really?" And he grinned a fool's grin. "Thanks!"
Molly Fullin: Well the chat's almost over anyhow, so hey. The launch will head back to the liner after everyone's finally had their share, with those tired of the atoll allowed to rest under shade of the ship's smaller cabin.
